FILADÈLFIA–Aquest passat Divendres nit, Christopher Brooker va guanyar una decisió unànime de vuit rondes sobre el veterà Oscar Riojas en un combat de pes súper mitjà que va destacar una targeta de set combats en un embús ple. Casino de sucre.

La targeta va ser promoguda per Promocions del Rei.

Brooker va ser molt sòlid mentre intentava treballar per dins. A la tercera ronda, va aterrar un ganxo d'esquerra perfecte que va impulsar Riojas a les cordes. Brooker va treballar dins i va ser l'home més ocupat durant tot el concurs.

Brooker, de Filadèlfia, va guanyar per dotzes 78-74 en totes les targetes i ara 12-3. Riojas de Monterrey, Mèxic és 14-8-1.

Jerome Conquesta va fer sis rondes sòlides en guanyar una decisió unànime sobre Daniel Perales en un combat súper lleuger.

La conquesta de Filadèlfia va guanyar per dotzes 60-54 i 59-55 dues vegades, i és ara 7-2. Perales de Monterrey, Mèxic és 10-10-1.

Henry Beckford va marcar un disgust quan va prendre una decisió majoritària de quatre rondes sobre Blake Mansfield, prèviament invicte, en un concurs de pes súper mitjà..

Potser s'hagi donat un cop de puny com a l'últim 45 segons del combat, McNutt va batre i va trontollar a Oarapeza per tot el ring. Si el combat hagués estat 30 segons més, el resultat podria haver estat diferent, però Orapeza de Filadèlfia va rebre l'asentiment per la melodia de 38-37, 39-35 i 39-36. Orapeza és ara 2-0. McNutt de Battle Creek, Mi és 1-3.

Jeffrey Torres va guanyar una decisió unànime de quatre rondes sobre Kashon Hutchinson en un combat lleuger.

Els puntajes van ser 40-36 i 39-37 dues vegades per Torres de Filadèlfia, qui ara 3-0. Hutchinson de Reading, PA és 2-3.

Harold López i Basyzbek Baratov va lluitar per un emocionant empat majoritari en un combat de pes mosca.

Filadèlfia, Pennsilvània. (Maig 4, 2017) – Christopher Brooker (11-3, 5 Nocauts)s'enfrontarà a Oscar Riojas (14-7-1, 4 Nocauts) a Divendres, 12 de maig El Casino a Sugarhouse.

El combat programat de vuit rondes de pes súper mitjà encapçalarà una targeta promoguda per King's Promotions.

Brooker va ser convocat a San Diego per ajudar a Canelo Alavrez a preparar-se Dissabte de mega enfrontament amb Julio César Chávez, Jr que tindrà lloc a Las Vegas.
Sent que Brooker és un pes súper mitjà fort, i Chávez amb una estructura similar, tenia sentit que Brooker rebés una trucada per ajudar l'ídol mexicà per al tan esperat enfrontament.
“Vaig anar de campament amb Canelo a San Diego, i vam córrer per les muntanyes a 15,000 peus. Vaig estar-hi prop de dues setmanes i vaig disputar vint rondes amb ell,” va dir Brooker.
“Va ser una gran experiència estar al costat d'un lluitador que és un dels lluitadors d'elit del món. Ell està tan compost. Em van portar a pressionar-lo i imitar Chávez, Jr. Canelo és un lluitador tan experimentat, i vaig aprendre molt d'ell. M'estava ensenyant com configurar els meus trets, i fins i tot certs exercicis amb el meu coll.”
Brooker va quedar molt impressionat amb tot l'equip, i creu que aquest camp el portarà al següent nivell.
“El seu equip és molt professional i amb els pis a terra. Estic desitjant aquesta lluita en dissabte. Serà una bona lluita. Em va sorprendre saber que Canelo va veure la meva última baralla a ShoBox. Podien dir que estava intentant boxejar més i treure'm una manera del meu estil de baralla que havia utilitzat en la majoria dels meus combats.. Em van donar bons consells, i em va dir que no canviés qui era quan tenia molts èxits com a lluitador a pressió, i després barrejar l'aspecte de la boxa al meu joc.”

Filadèlfia, Pennsilvània. (Abril 13, 2017) – Battle tested super middleweight Christopher Brooker s'enfrontarà a veterans Oscar Riojas in the eight-round featured bout on Divendres nit, 12 de maig a El Casino Sugarhouse.

Brooker of Philadelphia has a record of 11-3 amb cinc knockouts.
La 25 year-old is known for taking on anyone at anytime.
The combined record of his last seven foes is a staggering 92-9-3, with Brooker winning five of those bouts, and Brooker has appeared on national television three times.

Brooker is a two-year professional, who already has wins over Leo Hall (8-0), John Magda (11-0), Antowyan Aikens (10-1-1), Gabriel Pham (6-0) & former world title challenger Elvin Ayala (28-7-1). Brooker has dropped his last two bouts to Ronald Gavril (16-1) in a bout that Brooker was even on the scorecards before being stopped in the final round. En January 20th, Brooker dropped an eight-round unanimous decision to undefeated Ronald Ellis (13-0-1) a Atlantic City. That fight was shown live on ShoBox: The New generation.

Nutley, Nova Jersey (Gener 24, 2017) – Despite the disappointing loss by Adam Lopez in the main event of the ShoBox: La Nova Generació card at Ballys Atlantic City Hotel and Casino, Promocions GH3 still had a prosperous evening as the company registered six big victories on the show.

Televised winners included Ronald Ellis i Kenenth Sims, Jr. mentre Stephon jove, Leroy Davila, Keenan Smith i Malik Jackson were all very impressive on the undercard.
Ellis won a 8-round unanimous decision over Christopher Brooker to raise his record to 14-0-1 en un combat de pes súper.
Pes welter júnior, Sims was making his national television debut, and did so in style as he remained perfect by winning a 8-round unanimous decision over Emmanuel Robles to go to 11-0.
Young of St. Louis fought a crowd pleasing fight, and took home a unanimous decision over Olimjon Nazarov and the number-4 ranked bantamweight contender is now 16-0-3.
Davila, 1 2016 United Stated Olympic alternate, dominated and ultimately stopped fellow undefeated bantamweight Anthony Taylor in round three of their four round bout. Davila, a native of New Brunswick, New Jersey is now 5-0 amb 3 nocauts.
Smith of Philadelphia was impressive in stopping Marquis Hawthorne after round five of their scheduled six round welterweight bout. Smith was dominant from the opening bell, and Hawthorne had taken enough punishment to pack it in after round five. Smith is now 10-0 amb 4 nocauts.
Jackson of Washington, D.C. was making his first start under the GH3 promotional banner and took out an overmatched Christian Foster in the 1st round. The super bantamweight remained perfect at 2-0 with both wins coming early.
“Some of our younger guys really showed that they are legit prospects,” said Vito Mielnicki, CEO of GH3 Promotions.
“Adam Lopez in defeat showed a lot of heart and he will be back. He has showed that he can beat a lot of good fighters and his loss is just a minor setback. Ronald Ellis and Kenneth Sims Jr. Win By Unanimous Decision

ATLANTIC CITY (Jan. 21, 2017) – In a stunningly one-sided affair, Danny “Baby Face Assassin” Roman scored an upset ninth-round TKO over previously unbeaten Adam López in a WBA Super Bantamweight Title Eliminator Divendres en l'esdeveniment principal de ShoBox: La Nova Generació on SHOWTIME from Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel and Casino.

It’s a bittersweet for us, per a López. We know him well. He’s fought five times on ShoBox but now doesn’t look like he is going to get that title fight since this is the second opportunity he had and he took a real beating. It’s going to take a while for him to come back.”

 

In the final three rounds, Roman out-landed Lopez 107-27, i 84-20 en cops de força. In the final session, Roman landed more punches (43) than Lopez threw. López, who left the ring promptly after the stoppage, was not happy with his performance.

“He was the better man aquesta nit,” he said as he sat with his head down in the locker room. “I kept trying to catch him with uppercuts and I got caught every time. I was trying to get on the inside, but it was hard.

“I thought I was clawing my way back into the fight, but my eye started hurting. It was the first uppercut that knocked me down in the fourth that got me right in the eye. It was hard to keep on going with my eye like that.

“When I got back to the corner after the ninth round, Ronnie told me he had seen enough and he stopped the fight.”

In the co-main event of the evening, Super Middleweight invicte Ronald "Flatline" Ellis took a unanimous eight-round decision in a messy-grappler-type affair overChristopher "Ice Cold" Brooker amb les puntuacions 79-73 dues vegades i 77-75.

“Ellis-Brooker was an ugly fight,'' Va dir Farhood. “Brooker didn’t really have any answers. Ellis won clearly but he didn’t shine, mostly because of his opponent’s style.”

“At the end of the day, I just fight. It is up to fans who watch, they are the real judges for me.”

“I didn’t have my best performance, but I still got the win,” Sims said. “I was trying too hard for a knockout, and that’s not me. He was a durable opponent, but my performance had nothing to do with that.

“I want to talk to my team about my next fight. My speed and feet were the difference in the fight, but I did not use them as much as I should.”

Robles, who was disappointed with the verdict, acknowledged Sims’ speed.

“He was moving a lot and I couldn’t neutralize that,’’ Robles said. “He was slicker than I thought he was going to be. I was putting on a lot of pressure and wanted to work the body, but he was slick and able to withstand what I was doing.

“I just have to get back to training and get better. You’ll see more of me. I will be back.”

NOVA YORK (Jan. 9, 2017) – The previously announced matchup between undefeated WBA ranked No 3-ranked super bantamweight Adam López and the WBA’s No. 4-classificat Danny Roman has been elevated to a 12-round title eliminator for the WBA (regular) Super Bantamweight belt held by Nehomar Cermeno.

 

López (16-0-1, 8 KOs) and Roman (20-2-1, 7 KOs) will square off in the most significant fight of their careers in the main event of a ShoBox: La Nova Generació quadrupleheader en Divendres, Jan. 20, viure TEMPS DE LA FUNCIÓ (10 p.m. I/PT, en diferit a la Costa Oest) des Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel and Casino.

ADAM LOPEZ VS. DANNY ROMAN – 10 Rondes, Super Bantamweights

The Philadelphia native was a top level amateur who has been active since turning professional in 2015.

 

KENNETH SIMS JR. VS. WELLINGTON ROMERO – 8 Rondes, Super Lightweights

Sims, de Chicago, is matched with unquestionably the most dangerous opponent of a career that began in March 2014. This will be the eight-round debut for the 23-year-old, who has gone six full rounds six times.
