Atlantic City, New Jersey (Martie 12, 2018)–Chazz Witherspoon raised his winning streak to eight in a row as he went the eight-round distance by won a unanimous decision over Lamont Capers that headlined a seven-bout card at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.
The show, which took place this past Sâmbătă, was promoted by Mis Downing Promotions and Silverspoon Promotions.
Witherspoon was able to outpoint the crafty Capers. Capers was very competitive, but it was Witherspoon’s size and harder punches that proved to be the difference as he captured the via 78-74, 78-74 și 77-75 scoruri.
Witherspoon a Paulsboro, NJ is now 37-3. Capers, who was fighting for the 2nd time in seven days este 9-12-4.
Willis Lockett took a six-round majority decision over Prince Badi Ajamu in a cruiserweight bout.

Atlantic City, New Jersey (Martie 8, 2018)–Carton Chazz “Gentleman” Witherspoon is looking for a big fight in the suddenly hot heavyweight division. In order to get into the mix he will need a victory sâmbătă night when he takes on veteran Mike Sheppard in in the eight-round main event on at Hotelul Claridge în Atlantic City.
The Witherspoon – Sheppard bout will headline a nine-bout card, promoted by Mis Downing Promotions and Silver Spoon Promotions.

Witherspoon will be making his first start since stopping Carlos Sandoval in the 4th round on October 1, 2016.

In Sheppard, Witherspoon is taking on a veteran, who has fought a handful of top heavyweights.
“He is a veteran, and he has 25 victorii, so you have to respect that. I am not taking him lightly.”
Witherspoon is done taking layoffs, and he does not expect anymore layoffs.
“I want to stay as busy as possible, so I can be ready for big fights. I am closing in on 40 victorii, so with the heavyweight division getting hot again, I feel with my record, that I should be able to get into the mix. I always like fighting in Atlantic City. It is a 40 minute drive from my home. It has been a pleasure working with Mis Dowing Promotions, and I look forward to a great night sâmbăta.”

Mis Downing Promotions looking for a big year in 2018

1st show to take place on March 10th at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City

Atlantic City, New Jersey (Ianuarie 25, 2018)–Mis Downing promotions is primed for a big year in 2018.
The New Jersey based promotion staged it’s inaugural events in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in 2017, and already has four dates on the schedule for 2018.
The 1st of those events will take place sâmbăta noapte, March 10th at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.
“We are very excited for a great year of boxing,” said Mis Downing. “We have a tremendous event planned for March 10th where I will be co-promoting with Silver Spoon Promotions, and have Chazz Witherspoon in the main event. We have some of the best fighters in the area that will make up a great undercard.”
The full card and ticket information for the March 10th show will be announced next week.
“We have at least three more dates, and we want to feature great fights while providing the fans with terrific entertainment. We are also about to announce the signing of some terrific fighters that we plan to build and feature on our events. We are looking to bring a lot of shows to Atlantic City, and I want to congratulate the new mayor Frank Gilliam on his inauguration.”

Witherspoon takes on Marrone in 2

Bristol, PA (August 6, 2016) – Chazz Witherspoon scored his fifth consecutive knockout victory as he took out former world title challenger Mike Marrone in round two of their scheduled six-round heavyweight bout in the main event at the Grundy Arena.

The eight-bout card was promoted by D and D Promotions and Silver Spoon Promotions.

Witherspoon sent Marrone to the canvas in round one with a left hook. Seconds later it was a hard 1-2 that sent Marrone down for a second time.

În runda a doua, Witherspoon landed a booming right that deposited Marrone on the canvas for a third time. Marrone got to his feet but the fight was waved off at 1:31.

Witherspoon a Paulsboro, New Jersey is now 35-3 cu 27 knockout. Marrone of Vero Beach, Florida is 21-6.

Samuel Seah won a four round unanimous decision over Samuel Amoako in a junior welterweight bout.

Rodriguez dropped Whar three times in round one, with the last coming from a left hook and the bout was stopped at 1:55.

Rodriguez of Shirley, New York este 4-0 cu patru knockout. Wahr of Virginia Beach, Virginia este 4-13.

Luis Perozo remained undefeated by winning a 4-round unanimous decision over Alberto Martinez in a lightweight bout.
