PHILADELPHIA – Vše je nastaveno pro 11výroční ceny Briscoe Awards, která se bude konat tuto neděli odpoledne, Březen 25, 2018, 1-4 Premiér, na Klubovna VBA ve Philadelphii. PHILADELPHIA – Nine area photographers will each exhibit one photo highlighting local boxing action from 2017 na 11výroční ceny Briscoe Awards na Březen 25, 2018, na Klubovna VBA ve Philadelphii. Undefeated Super Flyweight Dylan “The Real Dyl” Price reflects on Briscoe Award and upcoming April 21st fight

PHILADELPHIA (Březen 15, 2018)–It will be a busy few weeks for undefeated super flyweight prospect Dylan “The Real Dyl” Price.
The 19 year-old native of Sicklerville, New Jersey who has a perfect mark of 5-0 with all of his wins coming via knockout (Including 4 in the 1st round) will be on-hand at the 11th annual Briscoe Awards to accept the prestigious Rookie of the Year award.
The Awards Ceremony will take place on Neděle, March 25th at the VBA Clubhouse at 2733 Clearfield Street ve Philadelphii.
Pak se na 21.dubna, Price will look for win number-six when he takes on a yet to be named opponent at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. This will be Price’s 3rd consecutive appearance at Barclays Center.
“I am really excited and honored that I was selected as the Rookie of the Year,” said Price. “This means a lot to me because I really respect the Briscoe Awards. I have won the Everett Award for being the top Amateur of the Year, and to be honored in my short professional career as the rookie of the year I am just ecstatic. I want to thank John DiSanto for selecting me. I also would like to thank everyone that voted for me, as well as my managers Doc Nowicki, and my dad and trainer David Price. JARON ENNIS IS THE ONE TO WATCH IN PHILLY

PHILADELPHIA – Twenty year old welterweight boxer Jaron “Boty” Ennis will honored as “Ten ke sledování” na 11výroční ceny Briscoe Awards na Březen 25, 2018. BRUNSON SETS RECORD WITH THREE BRISCOE AWARDS

PHILADELPHIA – PA State junior middleweight champion Tyrone Brunson will be honored with three Briscoe Awards for the eventful year he had in 2017. During the year, Brunson’s efforts won him three bouts, two belts, and kept his career on track for a big fight in 2018. For these accomplishments, Brunson will take home three Briscoe Ocenění na March 25th– “Philly Fighter of the Year”, “Philly Fight of the Year”, a “Výkon roku”. This will be the first time a fighter has won three Briscoes in a single year.

MARCEL RIVERS TO BE HONORED FOR BIGGEST KO OF THE YEAR

PHILADELPHIA – Boxing fans certainly love a knockout, a 2017 was full of them in Philly. Of the many big KOs last year, the best of them all was by Marcel Rivers, na 2300 Arena last September. SPARROW BREAKS THROUGH WITH TWO BRISCOE AWARDS

PHILADELPHIA – Rising Philadelphia boxing star, Avery Sparrow, really made a career breakthrough in 2017. The junior lightweight won four bouts during the year, including two main events, and two national TV appearances. He started 2017 as a promising young local, but by the end of the year, Sparrow had broken into the world rankings.
Na Březen 25, 2018, Sparrow will be honored with two Briscoe Awards for his accomplishments. JASON SOSA NAMED “2016 PHILLY FIGHTER OF THE YEAR”

PHILADELPHIA – Camden, NJ junior lightweight Jason Sosa, takes home the Briscoe Award as the “2016 Philly Fighter of the Year”, v neděli at the annual awards event presented by Philly Boxing History Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and celebrating the Philadelphia fight scene – past and present.
Sosa upended the boxing world in 2016 by raising his game to the championship level and pulling off two upsets that few experts gave him the slightest chance of winning.
První, Sosa traveled to China to face WBA champion and heavy betting favorite Javier Fortuna for the WBA belt. Fortuna was skilled and carried a points lead into round eleven. Nicméně, Sosa’s “ne končit” attitude keeps him in the fight until the very last bell. In the 11th, Sosa shocked Fortuna, and everyone watching, with a TKO victory that made the Camden fighter a world champ.

TANEAL GOYCO VYHRAJTE “ROZVOJ ROKU” NA BRISCOE AWARDS

PHILADELPHIA – Philly super střední váha Taneal Goyco, se vrací na Briscoe Awards za svou historicky druhou trofej “Rozčilení roku”. Goyco získal stejnou cenu před dvěma lety a opakuje pro 2016, s jeho šokující nad rostoucí vyhlídkou Marylandu Jerrym Odomem.
Dvojice se setkala v listopadu 11, 2016, na 2300 Arena v jižní Philadelphii, a po těžkém začátku, Goyco se probojoval zpět do boje a po pěti kolech byl TKO prohlášen za naštvaného vítěze.
