Demetrius Andrade to be Ringside at Saunders – Lemieux Tonight on HBO World Championship Boxing®

Middleweight Antoine Douglas (22-1-1, 16 KO的) has won three in a row since his lone defeat, and that has catapulted him to world rankings of number-8 by the WBC, Number-9 by the WBA and Number-8 by the WBO. Douglas will be back in action onNovember 11th 在亞特蘭大.

MIAMI, 俄克拉何馬州. (七月 15, 2017) – Ivan Baranchyk went the distance with Keenan Smith in front of Baranchyk’s adopted hometown in the main event of a quadrupleheader featuring eight returning fighters 上週五 的ShoBox: 新一代from Buffalo Run Casino & 度假村.

In a battle of undefeated fighters, the hard-hitting Baranchyk (15-0, 10 科斯) took advantage of a one-point holding deduction against Sims in the fifth round to earn the decision in his fifth appearance on the 的ShoBox series and six consecutive fight out of Miami.

“I’m happy to be fighting back home in Miami, I love to fight here,” said Baranchyk, who was happy with his win but displeased with his overall performance. “I came out too hard and tried too hard to knock Smith out. I really wanted to knock him out which is why my punches were wild.”

The first round was a round of give-and-take where both Dezurn and Lopez landed and sustained an impressive amount of body punches. It was Lopez who originally appeared more subdued, foregoing the counterpunch as Dezurn worked the jab.

By the fifth round it was clear Dezurn was losing steam when Lopez began to break him down and force him against the ropes. Lopez went on to dominate the sixth and seventh rounds, when Dezurn, clearly out-fought, looked tired and began to lean over.

“After the first round, I dominated the action,” 洛佩茲說, who has now fought on 的ShoBox a record-tying six times. Maybe [Dezurn] won the seventh, but I whipped him. I should have won the fight, this was a redemption for me. Once I got used to his speed, I feel I won rounds six to two. The whole fight, his back was against the ropes and I beat up his body.”

Trained by the famed Coach Barry Hunter, the still-undefeated Dezurn made a valiant comeback in the final round, where he came back to life.

“I thought it was fair,” Hunter said. “We came on in the middle rounds, and Glenn won the seventh and eighth to get us the draw. It all came down to the stretch and I thought we did enough to win those rounds.”

Since suffering his only professional defeat, Douglas has comeback to score two consecutive knockouts, with the latest being a second round stoppage over Eduardo Mercedes on 三月 27. In that bout, Douglas captured the WBC FECARBOX Middleweight title.
“Everything has been going well in camp. I have had good sparring, and I feel stronger,” said Douglas. ” I know a little about Sandoval, I know he is tall and has a good record. I am just going with the flow, and taking one bout at a time. I am ready to get back to where I was, and I am on the road to being on top.”

納特利, 新澤西州 (三月 28, 2017) – World ranked middleweight Antoine Douglas scored his 2nd knockout 在 2 週 as he took out Eduardo Mercedes at 1:45 of round two to capture the WBC Fedelatin title in a bout that took place in the Domincan Republic.

Douglas is ranked number-12 by the WBC, and will look to be back in action in late April.

納特利, 新澤西州 (三月 14, 2017) – World ranked middleweight Antoine Douglas returned to action after a year layoff by stopping Pablo Munguia in the 5th round in a scheduled six-round bout in Charenton, 路易斯安那州.

Douglas of Washington, D.C. was making his first start since March 5, 2016 got back in the win column.

He is still just 24 years old and his best boxing is ahead of him. We will have him in a few more of these learning fights, and then look for him to be back knocking on a big fight by August.”
