LOS ANGELES – A previously announced BELLATOR MMA Light Heavyweight World Championship bout between Vadim Nemkov (14-2) und Anthony "Rumble" Johnson has been cancelled following the news that “Rumble” has been forced to withdraw from the bout due to an undisclosed illness.

Team Fedor’s Vadim Nemkov most recently went five hard rounds with former champion Phil Davis, earning a unanimous decision victory en route to punching his ticket to the semifinals. Nemkov has been perfect in BELLATOR to this point, winning all six of his contests including three knockouts and a submission.

In einem Land, das einst in einem Tom Green popularisiert (erinnere mich an ihn?) Song – "Lonely Swedish (Die Bum Bum-Lied)” – die Ultimate Fighting Championship bringt eine Fight Night-Karte, die hoffentlich mehr Aufmerksamkeit als ein Lied über einen kanadischen Esel.

Die erste FOX Karte des neuen Jahres, UFC Fight Night: Schweden, bringt die nationale Phase von FOX in Übersee und gibt einen Einblick in Amerika laufenden Expansion in Übersee der UFC. Aber im Gegensatz zu früheren UFC Übersee Karten, dieses ist nicht kurz auf Star-Power. Mal sehen, ob eine klare nicht. 1 Anwärter auf Jon Jones Halbschwergewicht Titel entstehen.

Akira Corassani (16-4-1) vs. Sam Sicilia (13-5) (Federgewicht - 145 lbs.)

Dies ist ein Matchup von The Ultimate Fighter Alumni, mit beiden Jungs kommen aus Verlusten und Corassani kommen aus Back-to-Back-Verluste Max Holloway und Dustin Poirier. Corassani ist auch früh in beiden Kämpfe abgeschlossen, während Sicilia kommt aus einer Vorlage Verlust. Beide Jungs sind für einen anderen Lauf an der Spitze der Halbschwergewicht bereit. Beide Jungs kommen aus Siegen und tatsächlich standen sich in der Schule, wenn Davis kämpfte für Penn State und Bader gerungen für Arizona State. Und "Hendo" Henderson (30-12) vs. Gegard Mousasi (35-5-2) (Mittelgewicht - 185 lbs.)

Henderson kehrt nach einer meist unglücklichen Lauf im Halbschwergewicht Mittelgewicht, darunter die um wie eine Stoffpuppe geworfen und von Daniel Cormier in seinem letzten Kampf eingereicht. Alexander "der Mauler" Gustafsson (16-2) vs. Anthony "Rumble" Johnson (18-4) (Halbschwergewicht - 205 lbs.)

Der Sieger dieses Kampfes wird die nächste Aufnahme im Halbschwergewicht-Champion Jon Jones erhalten, und es wäre ein Rematch für Gustafsson vertreten. Er nahm Jones näher zu besiegen, während ihrer epischen als jeder andere hat 2013 Matchup. Je nachdem, wer fragen, einige Leute denken, der Schwede tatsächlich gewann diesen Kampf.
