Yoseline Perez (女性的 54 公斤) and Alyssa Mendoza (女性的 57 公斤) led the way for the USA with gold medals in their respective weight classes, marking the first international gold medals of 2025.

Perez got things started this morning for the Red, White and Blue, earning a 4-1 victory over England’s Charley Davidson. The Houston, Texas native has been notable this year with top two finishes in each of her international competitions in 2025. At the World Boxing Challenge 2025, Perez secured two unanimous decision victories in three appearances to close an incredible week in the Czech Republic. This gold medal marks the first of Perez’s Elite international career for USA Boxing.

Mendoza secured her first medal of the calendar year while in Usti Nad Labem, and she did so in a dominant fashion. She earned two unanimous decisions and one 4-1 split decision victory in her three bouts on the week. One of her unanimous decisions came in Saturday’s championship bout over Mongolia’s Michidmaa Erdenedalai, a Paris 2024 奧林匹亞.

Three other Team USA boxers also competed on Saturday, 六月 14, each of whom claimed silver medals at the 2025 World Boxing Challenge Grand Prix Usti Nad Labem. Four Team USA Boxers Close Friday With Bronze Medals

USTI NAD LABEM, 捷克共和國 (六月 13, 2025) - Team USA tied a bow on day three of the World Boxing Challenge Grand Prix Usti Nad Labem 2025 with four boxers earning bronze medals and four more athletes advancing to the gold medal rounds. Mendoza nabbed a 4-1 statement victory over Brazil’s Jucielen Romeo, avenging her loss to the Brazilian at the Paris 2024 奧運會. In his two bouts, Georges has consistently dominated from the opening bell and enforced his powerful game on his foes. He will take on Brazil’s Isaias Filho in bout 18.

Team USA Sends Seven Boxers to the Medal Rounds Thursday at World Boxing Challenge Grand Prix Usti Nad Labem 2025

Two Team USA competitors secured their first international medals, while four key veterans secured their first international wins of 2025 during Thursday’s action.

Rene Camacho (男士 65 公斤) and Malachi Georges were standouts during Thursday’s competition. Both boxers earned unanimous decisions in the quarterfinals, securing their spots in the medal round and their first international medals along the way. Camacho secured his second victory in the event after taking down Brazil’s Carlos Patrique Souza. The Houston, 得克薩斯州, native will now look to secure a berth in the gold medal round but will need to defeat Japan’s Shion Nishiyama to do so. Georges’ impressive win over Hungary’s Levente Kiss marked his first international victory, setting up a bout against Moldova’s Andrei Zaplitnii on Friday.

Team USA Learns Its Path To Gold For U19 World Championships

PUEBLO, 膝部. (十月 26, 2024) — Team USA will have twelve boxers competing at the 2024 World Boxing U19 Championships. These twelve boxers learned their paths to gold, including their first-round opponents during Friday tournament draw.

Ticket pricing for the 2024 World Boxing U19 Championships begins at $10 for a single-day pass or $50 for an all-week pass. Fans can also purchase tickets exclusively for Saturday’s finals at the price of $25.

USA Boxing Women’s Championships in Ohio to be delivered in association with World Boxing

The inaugural USA Boxing Women’s Championships in Toledo, 俄亥俄, 七月 22-29, 2023, will be delivered in association with World Boxing.

The eight-day invitational event is open to novice (beginner) and open (有經驗) boxers of all ages from pee wee (aged 8-10) to masters (35 以上) and aims to create opportunities for women of all ages and abilities to compete.

多於 200 boxers from eight National Federations across four continents are currently registered to take part.

The President of USA Boxing and a member of World Boxing’s Interim Executive Board, Tyson Lee, 說: “USA Boxing is extremely proud to be able to host this event in association with World Boxing. The Championships aim to celebrate women and create valuable competition opportunities for female boxers of all standards and ages.

“Working with USA Boxing to deliver this event is a sign of World Boxing’s support for boxers at every level, from the grassroots to the elite, and its commitment to creating competitive opportunities that will enable all boxers to flourish.”

World Boxing was launched in April 2023. It will hold its inaugural Congress in November and plans to publish details of its competition strategy, tournament calendar and the bidding process for staging events in the latter part of 2023.

Gonzales took all five judges’ cards over Hambardzum Hakobyan of Armenia during today’s light heavyweight championship bout. All five judges scored the bout 30-27 to give Gonzales Team USA’s lone gold medal of the tournament and sixth medal overall.

Gonzales gold resulted in six Team USA medals, as the team earned five bronze medals during Saturday’s semi-final bouts.

This marked the 74th edition of the Strandja Tournament and Team USA’s first time competing in the event since 2020. 科羅拉多斯普林斯, 膝部. (十一月 7, 2022) — USA Boxing announced today the nine boxers who will represent Team USA in La Nucia, Spain at the 2022 Youth World Boxing Championships. Full team roster can be seen below.
