IVAN BARANCHYK VS. ABEL RAMOS – 10 Rounds Super Lightweights

Morrison, who was born in Vinita, Oklahoma., is one of promoter Tony Holden’s group of fighters known as the “Four State Franchise.” They include Trey’s half-brother Kenzie Morrison, Baranchyk i Dillon i Jesse Cook. The Oklahoma-based Holden promoted Tommy Morrison for most of his career.

 

The 26-year-old Martz is a classic all-or-nothing heavyweight. All but three of Martz’ wins have come via knockout, and he aims to pick up his fifth win over an undefeated opponent when he takes on Lippe Morrison.

 

Martz, who stands at 6-foot-7, handed heavyweight prospect Alexis Santos his first defeat and has shared the ring with newly crowned WBO heavyweight champion Josep Parker.

 

LENIN CASTILLO VS. JOE WILLIAMS – Eight Rounds, Peses lleugers

JON FERNANDEZ VS. ERNESTO GARZA – Eight Rounds, Super Featherweights

Fernández, of Bilbao, el País Basc, Espanya, is co-promoted by DiBella Entertainment and legendary Argentine superstar and former longtime middleweight world championSergio Martinez. He was an amateur champion in his native Spain and member of the Spanish National Team in 2013 i 2014.

 

A pro since March 2015, the 21-year-old has won eight straight by knockout, all inside five rounds. The 5-foot-10 Fernandez was a chief sparring partner for Carl Frampton as he prepared for his Jan. 28 rematch with Leo Santa Creu.

 

“This fight is very important to my boxing career and I will put on a great performance for the fans in attendance and those watching on SHOWTIME,” said the-5-foot-11 Fernandez who is coming off a fourth-round TKO over Mikael Mkrtchan (16-1 anar a) to capture the WBC Youth Super Featherweight World Title last Octubre. 8.

Febrer. 10 will be Fernandez’ second fight in the United States, and second outside of Spain. He’s remained active since turning pro in March 2015; he fought five times that year, and five times in 2016.

GH3 Promotions scores 6 big victories this past Friday night in Atlantic City

Nutley, Nova Jersey (Gener 24, 2017) – Despite the disappointing loss by Adam Lopez in the main event of the ShoBox: La Nova Generació card at Ballys Atlantic City Hotel and Casino, Promocions GH3 still had a prosperous evening as the company registered six big victories on the show.

Televised winners included Ronald Ellis i Kenenth Sims, Jr. mentre Stephon jove, Leroy Davila, Keenan Smith i Malik Jackson were all very impressive on the undercard.
Ellis won a 8-round unanimous decision over Christopher Brooker to raise his record to 14-0-1 en un combat de pes súper.
Pes welter júnior, Sims was making his national television debut, and did so in style as he remained perfect by winning a 8-round unanimous decision over Emmanuel Robles to go to 11-0.

Davila, 1 2016 United Stated Olympic alternate, dominated and ultimately stopped fellow undefeated bantamweight Anthony Taylor in round three of their four round bout. Davila, a native of New Brunswick, New Jersey is now 5-0 amb 3 nocauts.
Smith of Philadelphia was impressive in stopping Marquis Hawthorne after round five of their scheduled six round welterweight bout. Smith was dominant from the opening bell, and Hawthorne had taken enough punishment to pack it in after round five. Smith is now 10-0 amb 4 nocauts.
Jackson of Washington, D.C. was making his first start under the GH3 promotional banner and took out an overmatched Christian Foster in the 1st round. The super bantamweight remained perfect at 2-0 with both wins coming early.
“Some of our younger guys really showed that they are legit prospects,” said Vito Mielnicki, CEO of GH3 Promotions.
“Adam Lopez in defeat showed a lot of heart and he will be back. He has showed that he can beat a lot of good fighters and his loss is just a minor setback. Ronald Ellis and Kenneth Sims Jr. Win By Unanimous Decision

ATLANTIC CITY (Jan. 21, 2017) – In a stunningly one-sided affair, Danny “Baby Face Assassin” Roman scored an upset ninth-round TKO over previously unbeaten Adam López in a WBA Super Bantamweight Title Eliminator Divendres en l'esdeveniment principal de ShoBox: La Nova Generació on SHOWTIME from Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel and Casino.

It’s a bittersweet for us, per a López. We know him well. He’s fought five times on ShoBox but now doesn’t look like he is going to get that title fight since this is the second opportunity he had and he took a real beating. It’s going to take a while for him to come back.”

 

In the final three rounds, Roman out-landed Lopez 107-27, i 84-20 en cops de força. In the final session, Roman landed more punches (43) than Lopez threw. “I thought I was clawing my way back into the fight, but my eye started hurting. It was the first uppercut that knocked me down in the fourth that got me right in the eye. It was hard to keep on going with my eye like that.

“When I got back to the corner after the ninth round, Ronnie told me he had seen enough and he stopped the fight.”

In the co-main event of the evening, Super Middleweight invicte Ronald "Flatline" Ellis took a unanimous eight-round decision in a messy-grappler-type affair overChristopher "Ice Cold" Brooker amb les puntuacions 79-73 dues vegades i 77-75.

“He was big and strong and was holding a lot, but my boxing skills took over in the fight. He was trying to get on my nerves, but I knew that my skills would get me the win.”

 

Brooker (11-3, 5 KOs), who was very unhappy with the judges’ scorecards said, “I don’t know what these judges are looking at. I had the better ring generalship, aggressiveness and I brought all the pressure.

 

“I feel that because he was undefeated, the judges must have put him on a pedestal. Even though I have a couple losses, look who I have fought and defeated. I am an elite-level fighter as well, and I should get that same respect. That’s why SHOWTIME has me on.

 

“At the end of the day, I just fight. It is up to fans who watch, they are the real judges for me.”

“He was moving a lot and I couldn’t neutralize that,’’ Robles said. “He was slicker than I thought he was going to be. I was putting on a lot of pressure and wanted to work the body, but he was slick and able to withstand what I was doing.

“I just have to get back to training and get better. You’ll see more of me. I will be back.”

NOVA YORK (Jan. 9, 2017) – The previously announced matchup between undefeated WBA ranked No 3-ranked super bantamweight Adam López and the WBA’s No. 4-classificat Danny Roman has been elevated to a 12-round title eliminator for the WBA (regular) Super Bantamweight belt held by Nehomar Cermeno.

 

López (16-0-1, 8 KOs) and Roman (20-2-1, 7 KOs) will square off in the most significant fight of their careers in the main event of a ShoBox: La Nova Generació quadrupleheader en Divendres, Jan. 20, viure TEMPS DE LA FUNCIÓ (10 p.m. I/PT, en diferit a la Costa Oest) des Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel and Casino.

KENNETH SIMS JR. VS. WELLINGTON ROMERO – 8 Rondes, Super Lightweights

CORONA, Califòrnia. (Novembre. 4, 2016) - Tares "The Real Deal Shelestyuk va mantenir un rècord d'imbatibilitat i va continuar el seu ascens a la divisió de pes welter amb un tancat, decisió unànime de 10 rondes sobre el seu oponent més dur fins ara, Jimmy "La Veritat" Herrera a Divendres de esdeveniment principal d'a ShoBox: La Nova Generació triple en viu en TEMPS DE LA FUNCIÓ des de l'exterior Productes Omega Centre d'esdeveniments a Corona, Califòrnia.

 

Shelestyuk (15-0, 9 KOs), la 2012 Medalla de bronze dels Jocs Olímpics per Ucraïna, va ser victoriós pels resultats de 96-93 dues vegades i 95-94. Malgrat un coratge, actuació valenta, Herrera (15-4-1, 8 KOs), de Chicago, Ill., va acabar amb una ratxa de tres victòries consecutives. No hi va haver cap derrota.

Com vaig dir, era dur però res d'especial. Quan em van anar les cames, Vaig començar a treballar dins. El vaig guanyar bé a l'última ronda i si n'hi havia 30 segons més, Jo podria haver-lo aturat.

 

"Estic desitjant ser més actiu 2017. Em prendré dues o tres setmanes de descans i tornaré de seguida al gimnàs".

 

"La veritat" fa mal i Herrera va tenir més de la seva part justa de moments en una lluita apretada. Herrera, un professional des de desembre 2009, va pensar que era una prova legítima per a Shelestyuk i ho va ser. Però Taras era més actiu (aterratge 169 de 689 cops, comparat amb el d'Herrera 130 de 460). Cada un connectat 28 per cent del temps.

 

Herrera, que havia derrotat a prospectes invictes en quatre dels nou combats anteriors, no estava content amb el veredicte. “Va ser una bona lluita. No hi ha molt que pugui dir. Vaig pensar que estava més a prop del que indicaven les puntuacions. M'he divertit allà dins i li dono crèdit. Ell era tot el que esperava. És un lluitador intel·ligent".

 

"Viuria per ser un maniquí de prova per a tots aquests joves prospectes. Vaig pensar que podria haver estat un empat, però la gent que ho va veure a la televisió pot tenir la seva opinió’’.

 

Fent el seu segon ShoBox Començar, Bejenaru va triomfar pels marcadors de 97-91 a les fitxes dels tres jutges. "És un lluitador brut,'', va dir Bejenaru després d'un partit en què va patir un mal tall a l'ull esquerre i una gran llaçada al cap.. "Mireu totes les seves baralles, tot el que fa és conduir amb el cap. Em van afectar els culs del cap, però no hi havia manera de parar. Es queixa molt, però tot el que va fer va ser una falta. Em va semblar com si em mossegués a l'orella esquerra després... així és com lluita.

 

“L'esport és la boxa, no neda i bateja els cops com un nedador, un lluitador de carrer, no un lluitador professional. Em va agafar amb un xut net a la caiguda, però em vaig aixecar i no em vaig fer mal.

 

“Aquesta victòria és un gran pas en la meva carrera. M'ajudarà a continuar pujant al rànquing en el meu camí cap al títol".

"Estava sorprenentment nerviós en aquesta baralla. Vaig ser una mica tímid per començar. Normalment surto més fort, però no va importar perquè vam aconseguir el resultat que volíem.”

Freitas va controlar la major part de la ronda amb el seu moviment i cops de puny més aguts, sinó un ganxo salvatge al cos — la seva tercera connexió amb el cos — va deixar el brasiler a la lona molt després del 10 compte.

 

“m'he equivocat,", va dir un Jones Freitas plorós. "Vaig fer una pausa en el moment equivocat i em va colpejar amb el cop correcte. Això no vol dir res per a mi. Seguiré treballant i entrenant molt. Vull una revenja.”
