The 10-round main event between extremely aggressive junior welterweights O’Connor and Claggett figures to be a barn-burner from the opening bell to the end. Neither fighter takes a step backwards, nor do they ever stop firing punches, which makes for an incredibly entertaining, can’t miss showdown.
“I’m going to pick Claggett apart,” the 32-year-old O’Connor predicted. “A lot is at stake and that’s why I pushed for this fight. I could have fought an easier opponent, but I didn’t want to. I’m going to break into the elite level of boxing and this is a step towards that.”
O'Connor (29-3, 11 KOs), fighting out of Framingham, Massachusetts, defensarà el seu Consell Mundial de Boxa (CMB) Silver International junior welterweight title for the first time. In the eight-round co-feature event, Irish junior featherweight T. J. “Energia” Doheny (18-0, 13 KOs), fighting out of Australia, puts his undefeated record and status at risk as the mandatory No. 1 contender in the International Boxing Federation (FIB), against former International Boxing Organization (IBO World champion “Machine-Gun” Mike Oliver (26-7-1, 8 KOs, of Hartford.
Two of New England’s most promising, undefeated prospects, “The Silent Assassin” William Foster III (6-0, 6-0 (5 KOs) i Irvin Gonzalez, will be showcased in a pair of six-round matches.
A gifted junior lightweight fighting out of New Haven, Connecticut, Foster takes on former WBC International bantamweight champion Mella “Kanyankole” Otieno (31-13, 13 KOs), while UBF All-American super featherweight champion Gonzalez, of Worcester, Massachusetts, meets fellow unbeaten featherweight prospect, Ugandan Sulaiman Segawa (9-0, 3 KOs), who now lives and trains in Silver Springs, Maryland.

Nova York, Nova York (Desembre 5, 2017) – FITE TV announces the debut of PRIMUS Fighting Championship December 9th 2017. L'esdeveniment, which will be the inaugural event for PRIMUS FC, features a number of UFC veterans as well as some of the hottest young talent in MMA. Headlining the event will be UFC veteran Houston “The Assassin” Alexander as he looks for vengeance against Rakim “The Boogeyman” Cleveland who handed Alexander a TKO loss early this year. Midwest fighting pride will also be on the line as both fighters hail from and have made their careers on the Midwest MMA scene.
In the co-main event one of the hottest heavyweight prospects in MMA and recent winner of Dana White’s Dimarts Night Contender series, Shelton “el Soterrador” Greus, faces off against Jason Walraven who will be hungry and looking to prove himself after a TKO loss to one of the toughest heavyweights in MMA, Tony “Kyrptonite” Lopez earlier this year.
A pair of former Ultimate Fighter contestants are also featured on the card in Rob “The Saint” Emerson and Jamie Yager. Emerson, a contestant of The Ultimate Fighter season five, faces David “The King” Sachs in a battle of experienced grapplers who are no strangers to submissions. Yager, a standout in The Ultimate Fighter season 11 and Kings MMA product, brings his explosive style of striking and a two fight winning streak into the cage against the Canadian Tyler “TNT” Jackson who makes his way back to the cage after a three year break from the sport.
Also on the card is Oklahoma product Cortez “The Crazy Cowboy” Coleman who is now training out of Factory X under Muay Thai coah Mark Montoya in Denver Colorado and is looking to get back on track against the surging Christiano “Urso” Frohlich who rides a four fight win streak into a matchup that promises to be a standup battle.
Adding to the lineup of MMA talent will be former Ultimate Fighter season 2 winner and UFC lightweight title contender Joe “Daddy” Stevenson who will be providing commentary on the night’s action. El 6′ 4 ½ Pulev, fighting at home in Sofia, Bulgària, captured the vacant WBA Inter-Continental heavyweight title in his last fight this past December, in which former world champion Samuel Peters (36-5) retired after the third round.
Al maig passat, Pulev won a 12-round split decision over Dereck Chisora (25-5) to capture the European heavyweight championship. The 35-year-old Pulev has won four in a row since he suffered the only loss of his professional career, by way of a fifth-round knockout in 2014, to then-International Boxing Federation (FIB) campió del món de pes pesat Wladimir Klitschko (62-3).

Johnson, 37, has served as a dangerous “porter” in the heavyweight division during his 14-year professional career.
