BLAIR “THE FLAIR” COBBS RETURNS TO THE RING NOVEMBER 2ND ON CANELO VS. KOVALEV CARD

LAS VEGAS, NV (Oktober 10, 2019) – Prince Ranch Boxing’s undefeated welterweight contender,Blair “The Flair” Cobbs (12-0-1, 8 Kos), who is by promoted by Golden Boy Promotions, ansikten Carlos Ortiz (11-4, 11 Kos) of Torreon, Mexiko, for the vacant NABF title. The 10-round bout will take place on November 2, 2019, as part of the undercard of Canelo Alvarez kontra Sergey Kovalev på MGM Grand Garden Arena i Las Vegas, Nevada, which will air live on DAZN.

READING, Pa. (Oktober 10, 2019) – Top super welterweight contender Erickson “Hammare” Lubin will now face hard-hitting Nathaniel Gallimore in a 10-round showdown on Saturday, Oktober 26, live on SHOWTIME from Santander Arena in Reading, Pa., i ett evenemang som presenteras av Premier Boxing Champions.

The all-action Gallimore replaces Terrell Gausha, who was forced to withdraw from the main event bout due to an injury to his left hand during sparring that required surgery.

Unbeaten heavyweight sensation Efe Ajagba will enter the ring against once-beaten Jack Mulowayi in a 10-round bout that replaces the previously announced Rau’Shee Warren vs. Emmanuel Rodriguez fight. Warren had to withdraw from the contest due to a right hand injury suffered during sparring.

The three-fight SHOWTIME BOXING: SPECIAL EDITION begins live at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT and also features former lightweight world champion Robert påsk Jr. making his super lightweight debut against battle-tested veteran Adrian “El Tigre” Granados in the 10-round co-featured attraction.

Orlando, Florida’s Lubin (21-1, 16 Kos) was one of the fastest rising contenders in boxing as he quickly raced to the top of the ladder to challenge Jermell Charlo for the WBC 154-pound championship in 2017. Following a one-punch, first-round stoppage to Charlo, the 24-year-old Lubin has rebounded with three straight stoppage victories of his own to regain his momentum toward a world championship.

In February, Lubin became the first boxer to stop former champion Ishe Smith and is coming off a TKO victory over Zaharia Attou in his last fight in June on SHOWTIME.

“It’s unfortunate that Gausha had to pull out because I was really looking forward to that fight,” said Lubin. “Now I’m facing Nathaniel Gallimore, who is a very good fighter whose only losses are to top level guys. I’m expecting a very difficult fight, one that will be explosive for the fans, but one I know I will win. It’s my time to show the world I’m ready to be back on top of the super welterweight division.”

The 31-year-old Gallimore (21-3-1, 17 Kos) most recently defeated Antonio Todd by decision in August to rebound from close decision losses to unified champion Julian Williams and top-ranked contender Patrick Teixeira in 2018. Born in Kingston, Jamaica and fighting out of Evanston, Illinois, Gallimore put together a seven-fight winning streak before the Williams fight, including knockouts of contenders Justin DeLoach and Jeison Rosario.

“I’m approaching this like any other big fight that was in the works for a long time,” said Gallimore. “I’ve been waiting for this moment in my career for a while. This is a stepping stone that can take me where I want to go. Lubin’s a pretty good boxer-puncher. He was on the rise for a moment and I knew about him coming up. Det kommer att bli en stor kamp. Living in Stafford, Texas and training with Ronnie Shields, Ajagba has steadily increased his competition and added knockouts wins over Amir Mansour and Michael Wallisch this year.

Fighting out of Antwerpen, Belgien, by way of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mulowayi (7-1-1, 3 Kos) kommer att göra sin US. debut on October 26 in a pro career that dates back to 2015. The 32-year-old was unbeaten in his first seven pro fights before losing a narrow majority decision to Herve Bubeaux in a bout for the Belgium heavyweight title in May. He rebounded to defeat Artur Kubiak in July heading into his fight against Ajagba.

TAMPA, FLA. (Oktober 8, 2019) – A jam-packed lineup of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) attractions will include Martina Krol och Calie Cutler going toe-to-toe in the BKFC women’s featherweight semi-final Saturday, Oktober 19 live på pay-per-view från Florida State Fairgrounds Entertainment Hall i Tampa, Fla.

BKFC 8 is headlined by former UFC stars Anthony “Bigfoot” Silva och Gabriel Gonzaga going toe-to-toe and will be broadcast across the United States and Canada, uteslutande på pay-per-view genom Multivision Media, Inc., på alla större TV-distributionskanaler för $29.99. Lombard is the first-ever Olympian to sign with BKFC, having represented Cuba in judo in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australien.

“I’ve wanted to fight for this amazing organization for a while and I’m excited that it’s all come together,” said Lombard, who will compete in the 185-pound light heavyweight division. “Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is the next level of fighting and I am glad to be part of it.”

Lombard also holds the distinction of being the first Bellator champion to sign with BKFC. He was the inaugural Bellator middleweight champion, winning the title in 2009. Lombard went 8 – 0 in Bellator with seven finishes, including a six-second knockout of UFC veteran Jay Silva in May of 2010.

Lombard relinquished the Bellator middleweight championship in 2012, when he moved to the UFC. In the UFC, Lombard fought a total of 12 gånger, recording notable knockout wins against Rousimar Palhares and Nate Marquardt.

In his professional MMA career, Lombard tallied 34 vinner, 22 of which have come by knockout or TKO. He is regarded as one of the hardest punching middleweights and welterweights in MMA history.

Lombard is from Cuba and moved to Australia after the 2000 Sommar-OS. He now lives in Florida.

FLINTA, MIG. - Oktober 5, 2019 - Obesegrad weltervikt Jaron Ennis gjorde ännu en knockout i sin återkomst till nationell tv lördag på SHOWTIME med en tredje omgång TKO av Demian Fernandez vid Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center i Flint, Mich.

Ennis, allmänt ansedd som ett av de främsta utsikterna inom boxning, slösade ingen tid i sin första kamp under den nationella strålkastaren på nästan ett år. Ennis vs.. Fernandez bout höjdes till huvudevenemangsstatus efter Claressa Shields vs.. Ivana Habazin-kampen avbröts efter en bråk före fredagens officiella vägning som ledde till en skada på Habazins tränare, James Ali Bashir.

LOS ANGELES – For the second time in as many years, Neal S. Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii will host the homecoming of Ilima-Lei Macfarlane (10-0), as she puts her undefeated record and Bellator women’s flyweight title on the line against No. 1 utmanare Kate Jackson (11-3-1) in the main event on Saturday, December. 21, streamed exclusively on the DAZN app.



Dessutom, Bellator Hawaii will feature the first quarterfinal matchup of Bellator’s Featherweight World Grand Prix, when the man with the longest winning streak in promotional history, A.J. McKee (15-0), takes on the always-exciting Derek Fields (20-9) in the evening’s co-headliner.



Bellator: Macfarlane vs.. Jackson – one of the star-powered, year-end highlights of fight season on DAZN – will stream live exclusively on DAZN vid 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT, while preliminary action will stream on Bellator.com, DAZN and globally on the Bellator Mobile App. Tickets go on sale next Friday, Oktober. 11 and can be purchased through Bellator.com, as well as Ticketmaster.com or the Neal S. Born and raised in Honolulu, current Bellator women’s flyweight champ Macfarlane made her pro debut in 2015 with a KO victory that went viral and has not looked back since, remaining undefeated in her career. A proud graduate of Honolulu’s Punahou High School in 2009, Macfarlane later attended San Diego State University, where she would go on to earn her Master’s degree in liberal arts and science with a focus on indigenous issues – a subject she remains passionate about, launching “The Ilimanator Scholarship” for indigenous girls last year. Now Ilima-Lei turns her focus to Kate Jackson, who will be looking to play the role of spoiler when she enters the Bellator cage on December 21.



A winner of seven of her last eight fights, Kate Jackson has earned her way to a title shot against the division’s inaugural champion. A competitor on the 23rd season of The Ultimate Fighter, Jackson hails from Lostwithiel, Cornwall, England, and most recently defeated Lena Ovchynnikova i London. Jackson made her Bellator debut in 2017 with a first round-victory over of Colleen Schneider and would later go on to dominate Anastasia Yankova at historic Bellator 200 in front of her hometown crowd. Facing the biggest test of her career, Jackson looks to reign atop the flyweight division when she leaves Hawaii.



With an undefeated professional record of 15-0, including six knockouts and eight first round finishes, there doesn’t seem to be much more for the talent-oozing 24-year-old to prove to the MMA community before his name is routinely mentioned among the division’s elite. Fighting out of Long Beach, Calif., “Mercenary” is fresh off of a jaw-dropping performance that saw him finish Georgi Karakhanyan in only eight seconds just moments after watching his father, Antonio McKee, collect a knockout victory in what was the first ever father-son duo to compete on the same card in the US. With all 15 of his career wins coming under the direction of the Scott Coker-led promotion, the Team BodyShop product has made it clear that he has his sights on Patricio “Pitbull” and his 145-pound belt, as he continues to build a strong argument as the new face of Bellator. Constantly looking for new records to break, McKee may have found the perfect match in Campos, as the two brawlers have combined for a remarkable 22 finishes over 36 karriärsegrar.



Fighting out of Lubbock, Texas, Campos will be competing in the first of the four quarterfinal matchups in Bellator’s Featherweight World Grand Prix, following a decisive victory over former featherweight world champion Daniel Straus vid Bellator 226 this past September. The 31-year-old knockout artist is ready to build on his impressive professional record of 20-9, when he takes on undefeated superstar McKee on December 21. Always ready to trade blows, the heavy-handed veteran has spent much of his time competing in Bellator’s lightweight and welterweight divisions over the past six years of his career. Nu, “The Stallion” hopes to continue his impressive surge in the 145-pound class, as he prepares to go toe-to-toe with one of the most dangerous featherweights in the world. With a shot at one million dollars on the line, Campos will rely on his fearless fighting style and sound wrestling background if he wants to advance in what many have pinned as one of the most anticipated matchups in the second round.
