CASABLANCA, Maroko (Február 2, 2017) – Former Interim cruiserweight world champion Yuri “El Toro” Kalenga will provide chief support Február 18 for pro-debuting Moroccan amateur boxing sensation Mohammad Rabii na “Battle of Casablanca” karta, presented by Nowhere2Hyde, at Complexe de Sportif Mohammed V Arena in Casablanca, Maroko.
Kalenga (22-3, 15 KO), fighting out of France by way of The Congo, is currently rated No. 12 Svetovej boxerský zväz (WBA) a č. 16 ktorú Boxing Svetovej rady (WBC). V 2014, Kalenga captured the WBA Interim title with a 12-round split decision over 32-1 Mateusz Masternak in Monaco, followed with a successful title defense in Canada against 12-0 Denton Daley by way of a 12th round technical knockout.
Kalenga has never been in a dull fight. Two of his three career losses have been to current WBA Super cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev (26-2), who Kalenga dropped in the fourth round, by way of a 12-round unanimous decision in Russia, and last June he was stopped for the first time in his seven-year pro career by 20-0 yunier Dorticos in Paris for the Interim WBA strap.
The 23-year-old Rabii defeated 2016 Olympijský víťaz Daniyar Yeleussinov in the welterweight division championship finale of the 2015 AIBA World Amateur Championships to capture a gold for his native Morocco. Also in action on “Battle of Casablanca” will be former World Boxing Association (WBA) and International Boxing Organization (IBO) world featherweight champion, Simpiwe Vetyeka (29-3, 17 KO), who is world ranked No. 4 podľa WBA, Do Not. 6 podľa Ring magazine, a č. 7 podľa WBC. The gifted South African faces undefeated Hungarian prospect David Nerna (8-0, 8 KO) v 10 kole záchvate.
Netherlands light middleweight Gevorg Khatchikian (24-2, 12 KO) will also be in action against Ugandan Med “Kabona” Sebyala (16-8-1. 13 KO) in another 10-rounder. Khatchikian, who will be fighting as a 154-pounder for the first time as a professional, has only lost twice as a pro, both to present super middleweight world champions, James Degale (IBF) a Gilberto Ramirez (WBO).
Hyde manages Rabii, Kalanga and Vetyeka.
Tickets are now on sale for the Február. 18 show in Casablanca.

World champion Beibut Shumenov to defend title vs. Junior Wright this Saturday night in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (Máj 18, 2016) – World Boxing Association (WBA) Dočasná Cruiserweight majster sveta Shumenov Beibu (16-2, 10 KO) makes his first title defense túto sobotu noc (Máj 21) against WBA No. 11-hodnotené Junior “Hurikán” Wright (15-1-1, 12 KO) at The Chelsea inside of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
“I’m happy to get the opportunity to fight túto sobotu noc,” Shumenov povedal, “but I wish that I could fight more often. I’ve been ready since January. Every training session I gain new knowledge. I am a completely different fighter than in my last fight.”
Shumenov’s last fight was back in July, in which he defeated B.J. Kvety (31-1-1, 20 KO) by 12-round unanimous decision in Las Vegas to capture the vacant WBA Interim title, making the former WBA light heavyweight champion Shumenov the first professional boxer from Kazakhstan to be a two-division world champion.
By becoming the WBA Interim cruiserweight champion, Shumenov also became the No. 1 ranked mandatory challenger for WBA Super cruiserweight titlist Denis Lebedev (28-2, 21 KO), who also fights túto sobotu in Russia against International Boxing Federation (IBF) majster victor Emilio “Tyson de Abasto” Ramirez (22-2-1, 17 KO) in a unification match.
The WBA has already mandated that the Lebedev-Ramirez must fight Shumenovwithin 120 dni. LAS VEGAS (Apríl 29, 2016) – World Boxing Association (WBA) Interim cruiserweight world champion Shumenov Beibu (16-2, 10 KO), the only Kazakhstan-native to hold world titles in two different weight classes, is disputing the WBA’s sanctioning of the WBA “pravidelný” cruiserweight world championship fight, Máj 20 v Paríži, between two lower-ranked WBA fighters, Do Not. 2 yunier Dorticos a č. 5 Youri Kalenga (recently upgraded to No. 3).

Lebedev hasn’t fought a mandatory defense v jednom roku, ironicky, when he won a 12-round decision over Kalenga, who had earned his world title shot, like Shumenov, by becoming WBA Interim world champion. I preferred to fight Lebedev but I was willing to fight Dorticos or anybody else in the top 15. I am shocked and bewildered and do not understand the WBA’s rationale to have either of these fighters declared the WBA ‘regular’ champion without first defeating either Lebedev or me, the Interim champion and No. 1 rank contender.
“I appealed the decision but, so far, the WBA has done little in response to my appeals other than delay and stall before finally ruling that I will fight the Lebedev-Ramirez winner months from now, ešte, ignoring my appeal to stop the regular title status of Dorticos-Kalenga and still sanction a fight between them, its No. 2 a č. 3 rated fighters, for the WBA ‘regular’ názov. This is unfair to fans, who deserve to watch the best fighting the best, especially when a world championship is at stake! We now have this odd situation where there will be three separate WBA cruiserweight fights in May, all for a different version of WBA world title I just don’t feel anyone should get the WBA ‘regular’ title without first defeating a champion or at least the top-ranked fighter in the division. I look forward to returning to the ring and my manager, Al Haymon, has advised me that I will fight in May and we will announce next week. I want to thank everyone for their support and I apologize to my family, priatelia, fans and my country, Kazachstan, for this chaos the WBA has caused that has damaged and delayed my professional boxing career. I will move forward and continue to fight inside the ring, letting my attorneys and manager fight this unfair situation outside the ring.”

LAS VEGAS (Marec 22, 2016) – World Boxing Association (WBA) Dočasná Cruiserweight majster sveta Shumenov Beibu (16-2, 10 KO) sa zameriava na 21.mája víťaz titulu zjednotenie medzi WBA titlist Denis Lebedev(28-2, 21 KO) a Medzinárodná boxová federácie (IBF) majster victor Emilio “Tyson de Abasto” Ramirez (22-2-1, 17 KO).
Keď Shumenov porazený B.J. Kvety(31-1-1, 20 KO) vlani v júli v Las Vegas, bývalý WBA svetlo preborník v ťažkej váhe sa stal WBA Dočasná majster, rovnako ako jej Žiadne. 1 povinné uchádzač.

CORK, Írsko (Február. 12, 2015) – Oslavuje kubánsky amatérsky boxer Mark Forest bude jeho profesionálny debut zajtra noc (Pi, Február. 13) v štyroch kole Super bantamové zápasu proti veteránovi Ignác “Skúška” Kassai na 5 Hviezda Banquet Hall v Queense, New York.

 

Trojnásobný kubánske Národné víťaz, 25-ročný Forestal porazený 2012 Olympijský víťaz Robeisy Rameriez 14 Pred niekoľkými mesiacmi v senzačný národný šampionát finále.

 

Boj ako Semi-Pro vo World Series of Boxing (WSB) pre neporazený 2014 Tím šampiónov Kuba Domadores, Forestal bol neporaziteľný v troch WSB zápasov pred prebiehanie do Spojených štátov v apríli minulého roka.

Nemohli sme nájsť súpera so sídlom v USA v boji proti Marcos, pretože povedal, že bol ďalší Rigondeaux a olympijský víťaz. Zatiaľ čo on porazil olympijského víťaza, Marcus nebol olympionik. Leteli sme do svojho súpera z Maďarska. Kasai je 56-boj veterán, ktorý bojoval niektoré z najlepších Európanov ako IBF Super bantamové šampión Carl Frampton, titul majstra sveta vyzývateľov Martin Ward, Prášok Zsolt a Alexander Miskirtchian, a bývalý európsky šampión Anthony Settoul.”
