This will be Webster’s 5th bout in Atlantic City.

The bout will kick off an historic weekend for Seldon, as his father, the former WBA Heavyweight champion of the world Bruce Seldon will be inducted into the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame.

Atlantic City, New Jersey (Listopad 2, 2017)–Local favorite Anthony “Juice” Mladý will headline a special night of action dubbed “Boardwalk Brawls 2” na Sobota, December 16th na Claridge Hotel v Atlantic City.
The show is promoted by Mis Downing Promotions.
Young of Atlantic City has a record of 18-2 se šesti knockouts, and is riding a seven fight winning streak.
The 29 year-old Young is a six-year veteran who has garnered wins over Jose Javier Calderon (4-1), and is coming off a six-round unanimous decision over 56-fight veteran Carlos Winston Velasquez on 19.srpna v The Claridge.
This will be Young’s 4th consecutive start at The Claridge and 12th overall fight in his hometown of Atlantic City.
Young’s opponent in the scheduled ten-round bout will be announced shortly.
Appearing the eight-round heavyweight co-feature will be Heavyweight Chazz Witherspoon.

Witherspoon’s opponent will be announced shortly.
An all-star lineup makes up an exciting undercard.

Atlantic City, NJ-It was a bittersweet night for welterweight contender Thomas LAMANNA as he won a 10-round unanimous decision over George Sosa in an entertaining bout in front of a capacity crowd at Claridge Hotel V Atlantic City.

The 11-bout card was promoted by Rising Promotions.

LaManna won the WBC Silver Latino Welterweight title and shortly after, the fighter known as “Cornflake” promptly announced his retirement in the ring.

The two traded big blows throughout the bout as Sosa came out very aggressively and was able to land some good right hands. LaManna was giving better of the two-way action, which had the sold-out crowd very enthused throughout the contest.
V druhém kole, Sosa started to swell under his left eye. In round six, He started bleeding badly from his nose as the result of pinpoint shots from LaManna.

In round six, LaManna was dominant by scoring two knockdowns from body shots. LaManna was relentless in battering Sosa all over the ring with Sosa lucky to hear the bell to culminate the round. Both guys traded hard shots down the stretch with LaManna getting the better of the action. Every so often, Sosa was able to score with hard shots, but they were few and far between.
LaManna sat down on his punches and landed thudding blows as he tried to get the stoppage against the tough Sosa.

LAMANNA, 147 lbs of Millville, NJ vyhrál skóre 98-90 a dvakrát 99-88 to raise his record to 24-2. Sosa of Reading, PA falls to 15-10.

“The body work, the distance and the jab was working for me. He was long and tall so we worked on the distance and I started to put my punches together. Then LaManna announced that this would be his last fight.

Frederick Julan stopped Tahlik Taylor in the 6th and final round of their light heavyweight bout.

“I think LaManna is a boxer who has not fought anyone of my caliber yet, and unlike me, I have fought everyone,” said Sosa. LaManna has been protected during his whole career, Do I think he will be easy? Do Not. There is no such thing as an easy fight. He is his Mommy and Daddy;s baby. When he fought somebody with caliber, he lost.”
Despite his 15-9 záznam, Sosa knows a win can change his whole career.

Since suffering his only professional blemish, which was a unanimous decision defeat to Arif Magomedov on ShoBox: Nová generace, Webster has rebounded nicely with wins over Thomas Awimbono (25-5) to win the USBO Super Middleweight title, and his last outing when he stopped Frankie Filippone (22-5-1) in seven rounds on May 13th in Bristol, Pennsylvania to win the World Boxing Foundation International Super Middleweight title.

Rivera of Camden, New Jersey made a sensation pro debut on Leden 24 when he took out Jose Garcia in one-round. He registered three knockdowns in the bout which thrilled his large cheering section that came from nearby Camden.
“Everything has been going great,” said Rivera. “I am just sweating out the last few pounds but I am right where I want to be.”
Rivera said he is less nervous then he was in his maiden voyage to the ring but as a fighter but he is ready for his next challenge.
“There will always be butterflies but this time it is a piece of cake.”
In Stewart, Rivera fights a guy who only has one fight under his belt as well. That was a 2nd round stoppage defeat to undefeated Edwin Reyes last Říjen 11.
“I know nothing about him other than he is from North Carolina. I always train like he is the best opponent that I will face.”
Rivera works as a crime analyst in Camden. In that line of work he looks at video cameras that are located all over the city and he can see what is going on. He can correlate that to his young professional career.
“It helps me with being focused and discipline. It gives me a mindset and it puts me in forefront of things and like boxing it all comes back to me.”
“I expect big things from me. I believe I have it on me to be something special,” finished Rivera.
