VICTORY BOXING PROMOTIONS ENCRES CHAMPIONNAT NATIONAL DES GANTS D'OR KIANTE IRVING

PITTSBURGH – Août 29, 2018 – Victory Boxing Promotions de Chris Middendorf a signé un amateur sous le radar Kiante Irving à une offre promotionnelle. Le 24 Un poids moyen d'un an devrait faire ses débuts professionnels ce dimanche en Virginie-Occidentale.

Élevé par une mère célibataire, la boxe était un débouché pour Irving, et a servi d'échappatoire à la pauvreté et au stress qui régnaient sa vie à la maison. Il est vite devenu clair que la boxe ferait longtemps partie de son avenir.

 

 

 

Un esprit humble, Irving a gardé la tête baissée et les yeux rivés sur le ballon à travers divers traumatismes familiaux, notamment une expulsion et la bataille presque fatale de son frère contre la maladie de Chrohn. Son petit frère, qu'il attribue comme une inspiration et un modèle, a survécu au pinceau de la mort pour devenir pompier. Irving espère utiliser son temps sur le ring pour sensibiliser davantage à la maladie, et saisir l'opportunité de vivre ses rêves, tout comme son frère l'a fait ces dernières années.

 

 

 

Après sa victoire aux gants d'or, Tom Yankello, l'entraîneur d'Irving, et son frère et co-manager Mark Yankello, avec Irving, est venu à la décision qu'il était temps de rejoindre les rangs professionnels. Les deux gérants, opérant sous la bannière Tom Yankello Boxing, Inc., connecté avec le promoteur de boxe Chris Middendorf et Victory Boxing Promotions. L'avenir s'annonce radieux (et occupé) pour Irving. “Je prévois de construire et de déplacer Kiante de la même manière que j'ai déplacé Ed Brown et Jaron Ennis. Je lui ai promis un minimum de huit combats dans sa première année, et je sais que nous ferons plus. C'est un athlète doué et ce sera quelque chose de le voir devenir l'un des meilleurs poids moyens.”

 

 

 

Pour sa part, Tom Yankello est enthousiasmé par l’avenir du jeune pugiliste avec Middendorf et Victory Boxing Promotions. “Je suis très satisfait des promotions Victory Boxing. ENNIS, LEE AND DARANYI BACK IN ACTION OCTOBER 14TH IN WASHINGTON DC

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Septembre 28, 2017 – Three of Victory Boxing Promotions’ top prospects return to the ring on 14 octobre à Eastern Market National Hall en Washington, À courant continu, after seeing a very busy year to date. Ennis and Lee both secured wins in Hammond, Indiana last weekend. Ennis faced Lionel Jimenez in a scheduled six round bout that didn’t make it past the first round. Fellow welterweight Brandun Lee also made a quick night of it, stopping Anthony Crowder just over one minute into the first round after a fiery exchange of punches caused Crowder to take a knee. The bouts were the seventh and sixth, respectively for the Victory Boxing Promotions prospects.
Daranyi is also coming off a knockout win. He stopped North Carolina veteran Andre Baker in the sixth round of their bout last July.

PHILADELPHIA – Août 18, 2017 – Victory Boxing Promotions a trouvé une nouvelle maison à Philadelphie. La tenue promotionnelle grandissante fera son retour dans la Cité de l'amour fraternel, et relancez sa série Philly Strong au 23rd Street Armory à Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphie le 21 octobre.

La carte sera titrée par Jaron “Bottes” Ennis (14-0, 12KO), qui a accumulé six victoires impressionnantes en 2017 seul. Il a été récemment annoncé qu'Ennis, qui est formé par son père Bozy Ennis, et dirigé par le méga-manager Cameron Dunkin, sera honoré aux Briscoe Awards de Philadelphie pour la troisième fois. WASHINGTON D.C. – Août 15, 2017 – Victory Boxing Promotions continues to keep its top talent in the ring, avec Jaron “Bottes” Ennis et Brandun Lee adding wins to their records Samedi at the historic Howard Theatre in Washington DC. The welterweight sensation kicked off his professional career in 2016, winning eight bouts under the Victory Promotions banner.Samedi fight was to be Ennis’ first eight-round fight, but it was clear from the opening bell that he wouldn’t see the eighth round.

Sur l'undercard, 18 year-old junior welterweight Brandun Lee used his range and experience to wow fans at Howard Theatre, breaking down his opponent with speed and style. Favoring the overhand right, Lee had Garcia backing up the entire fight, and in the first round, even turned toward the crowd for a quick photo, much to fans’ delight. After one and half rounds of Lee’s precision and power, the referee stopped the fight in the midst of a barrage of unanswered punches.

Victory Prospects Continue on the Fast Track – Ennis & Sanchez Score Wins

KENSINGTON, MARYLAND – Mai 17, 2017 – Victory Boxing Promotions is keeping with its promise to keep its top prospects busy, avec Jaron “Bottes” Ennis (11-0, 9KO) et Carlos “La Tiburon” Sanchez (13-0, 12KO) stepping into the ring in Virginia and Mexico over the weekend.

Ennis’ bout, which was scheduled for six rounds, was the fourth this year for the highly-touted prospect. He faced journeyman Eduardo Flores (25-27-3, 15KO), stopping him in the fourth round. The fight was a learning experience for Ennis, who has faced increasingly more experienced competition in his last three fights. Flores has bouts with Egis Kavaliauskas, Brad Salomon, Kermit Cintron under his belt, and gave boxing fans in attendance at the Masonic Temple in Norfolk, Virginia a good show before having the fight stopped by the referee at 1:57 of the fourth round due to an accumulation of unanswered punches. Ennis wasted no time in returning to the gym, where he trains with his father, “Bozy” Ennis, to prepare for his next bout, 10 juin à Atlantic City, New Jersey. It is the first of four bouts already scheduled into the third quarter of 2017. The welterweight sensation has stayed busy, racking up eleven wins in thirteen months.

Philly boxing fans were treated to seven fights featuring undefeated, world class talent, headlined by four-time National Amateur Champion Jaron “Bottes” Ennis versus Puerto Rico’s Elvin Perez.

Ennis remained undefeated when an early body shot brought Perez to his knees in the first round of their scheduled six round contest. Perez was unable to continue, and Ennis improved to 9-0, avec 8 of his wins coming by knockout.

Super Brawl: The Undefeated to feature elite prospects from Philadelphia and beyond

PHILADELPHIA – Janvier 26, 2017 – Victory Boxing Promotions returns to 2300 Arène en Philadelphie tonight with an eight-bout card stacked with elite, perspectives invaincues. It is the first of three events that Victory Boxing has on the books at the storied arena in 2017. RUMBLE IN RIO CHARITY EVENT TO FEATURE WORLD CLASS PROFESSIONAL TALENT AND GUNS & HOSES AMATEURS

Albuquerque, New Mexico – Janvier 6, 2017 – Sur March 18th, Victory Boxing Promotions and Rumble in Rio team up to present a night of charity boxing at the Albuquerque Convention Center. The card kicks off with eight amateur “guns & hoses” bouts between New Mexico Police and Firefighters who will fight to benefit the Jim Franklin Bike Giveaway Program and various New Mexico children’s organizations in New Mexico. The professional portion of the card will feature top prospects from the area, including flyweight Matthew Griego (6-0, 6KO) and super featherweight Alex Holguin (9-1, 6KO). Percutant Carlos “La Tiburon” Sanchez (11-0, 10KO), who hails from San Felipe, Mexique, will also be looking to remain undefeated in a six round bout at junior welterweight.

It’s the promotion’s second foray into the Land of Enchantment. Matthew Griego wowed Albuquerque crowds at Victory Boxing’s July event, stopping Marco Alcaraz in the second round of their bout. Alex Holguin and Carlos Sanchez also came away with wins that evening.

The Rumble in Rio is in its 12th year in the state of New Mexico. It was inspired by Jim Franklin, who was an evidence technician in the Rio Rancho Police Department. For several years Jim would take old bicycles from storage and rebuild them and give them out to children of low-income families in the area for Christmas. This effort prompted Officer Pete Camacho to create “Rumble in Rio,” and allowed the Jim Franklin Bike Giveaway Program to expand and provide more bicycles to more kids. So began the tradition of “Cops and Firefighters Fighting for the Kids”.

“The Rumble in Rio Board now includes members from multiple public safety agencies from New Mexico,” said Andrew Garcia, President of Rumble in Rio. “Our fighters are EMTs, Police Officers, Corrections Officers and Firefighters from around the state and have represented dozens of departments.”

“It’s an honor to team up with Rumble in Rio for this event,” a déclaré Victory Boxing Promotions’ Promoter Chris Middendorf. “Any time we have the opportunity to put our events to work in the community, that’s something we’d like to do.”

PHILADELPHIA – Décembre 27, 2016 – Victory Boxing Promotions kicks off 2017 avec “Super Brawl,” a ten-bout card featuring world class talent from Philadelphia and beyond, Samedi, January 28th à 2300 Arena in South Philly.
Jaron Ennis (8-0, 7KO) will showcase his talents at welterweight in his ninth fight since his professional debut in April of last year. Ennis, who took home his second Briscoe Award earlier this year for his outstanding amateur career, delivered a phenomenal performance in his sixth round stoppage of Marucs Beckford (3-5-3, 1KO) plus tôt ce mois-ci. The Ennis family has deep roots in the Philadelphia boxing scene. The 19-year-old is trained by his father and former professional boxer, Derrick “Bozy” Ennis, and is the younger brother of Derrick “Pooh” Ennis and Farah Ennis, who were themselves accomplished professional boxers.

Another Philadelphia favorite, super coqs Manny “Major Pain” Folie (8-0, 6KO), continues his quest to remain undefeated, while setting an example for the kids in his community. The Philadelphia Police Officer splits his time between training for boxing and protecting his community and fellow Philadelphia residents. He turned heads in his last fight, a first round knockout win over Hungarian Tibor Nadori (9-7-1, 4KO) en Novembre.
