United Boxing Promotions signs Indian prospect Sukhdeep Singh

Pro-debuut Maart 17 in Canada
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada (Februari 8, 2018) – United Boxing Promotions (UBP) announced today that it has signed Indian super middleweight prospect Sukhdeep Singh for his professional debut, Maart 17, at Hersey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

An elusive, pure boxer, Singh will make his pro debut Maart 17 on a UBP-presented St. Patrick’s Day card, in a four-round bout against an opponent to be determined, at Undefeated Irish-Canadian sensation Josh “DubsO’Reilly(10-0, 4 KO), fighting out of Hamilton (Canada), will make his initial International Boxing Association (IBA) Inter-Continental lightweight title defense against Mexican veteran Juan Bedolla Orozco (19-7-2, 14 KO) in de 10-round main event.
Since 2010,UBP promoter Tyler Buxton zei, “United Boxing Promotions has launched the careers of Toronto’s best boxers. Op maart 17th, we continue this tradition with the pro debut of Sukhdeep Singh, whose international boxing experience and following could make him the next Amir Khan.”
India may not be boxing’s most fertile country, although reigning World Boxing Organization (WBO) Asia Pacific and Oriental super middleweight champion Vijender Singh (10-0, 7 KO) is an exception, but Singh had a decorated amateur career, ranked as high as No. 17 in the world in his division.
The 25-year-old Singh, who is switches between orthodox and southpaw stances, captured gold medals at the 2012 Senior National Boxing Championship and 2011 Boxing Super Cup. Twee jaar geleden, he also trained with the Indian Olympic Boxing Team in Ireland.

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada (Oktober 26, 2017) – Fresh off his International Boxing Association (IBA) Inter-Continental title-winning performance, undefeated Canadian lightweight sensation Josh “DubsO’Reilly is ready to step up in class in terms of facing world-class opponents.

Super welterweight contender Brandon “Bad Boy” Kok (18-1, 11 KO) keert terug naar actie December 16, headlining the United Boxing Promotions-presented “De terugkeer” kaart, against an opponent to soon be announced at Hersey Centre.
Kok, the North American Boxing Association (Ook) kampioen, will be rebounding from his last fight, September 9 in Kazachstan, in which he (WBA #5) suffered his first loss as a pro against hometown favorite (WBA #2) Kanat Islam (25-0) in their highly competitive and extremely entertaining fight for the WBA Inter-Continental and North American Boxing Organization (BUURMAN) super welterweight titles.
Last January, Cook registered the most notable victory of his young pro career, knocking out Canadian rival and previously unbeaten Steven Butler (18-0-1), defending his NABA title and winning the IBF North American title, at Montreal’s famed Bell Centre.
