THE UK’S NEXT BOXING SUPERSTAR, UNDEFEATED SUPER BANTAMWEIGHT SHABAZ ‘THE MAVERICKMASOUD, SIGNS ON AS ATHLETE BRAND AMBASSADOR FOR BRAINS PURE CBD

Reaffirming its committed support of professional boxing around the world, Brains Bioceutical Corp., a leading manufacturer of THC-free cannabidiol (CBD) products, proudly announces the addition of one of the UK’s most promising young prospects, undefeated super bantamweight Shabaz “The Maverick” Masoud (7-0, 1 KO), to its growing stable of athletic brand ambassadors.

With the foot-speed of a laser pointer, an awkward but virtually impregnable defense, and blazingly fast hands that seldom miss the mark, the 25-year-old British Pakistani native of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, in the UK often bears an uncanny stylistic resemblance to his superstar idol, former featherweight showman Prince Naseem Hamed.

Undefeated in his young professional career, the formidable Masoud is yet to lose even a single round on any judge’s scorecard. Masoud will proudly adorn his trunks with Brains Pure CBD branding on Friday, March 19, when he faces countryman Louis Norman at Bolton Whites Hotel in Bolton, Lancashire, UK and streaming live on ESPN+at 1:00 pm EST/10:00 am PST. The IFL TV broadcast of the card is expected to start at 7:30 pm (GTM).

“We are in the hurt business,” said Masoud, “and bumps and bruises and even nagging injuries are just part of the game. Brains Pure CBD really helps with the wear-and-tear my body goes though in training camp everyday. Not only does it help to speed my recovery time from minor injuries, but it also helps me get to sleep at night, so I’m always my best in the gym. And it’s not full of mystery chemicals that might get you in trouble with the boxing commissions.

Brains is all-natural, plant-based product with zero prohibited THC. That’s clinically researched and tested by leading sports authorities. Like with any opponent, I did my research and have found that not all CBDs are created equally. Brains is the only CBD I trust. I’m very happy to be partnering with them on a product I very much believe in for my run to the world championship.”

Brains Bioceutical, who have sponsored several recent boxing events worldwide, have also joined forces with 18-0 welterweight standout Custio Clayton of Canada, MTK’s recent “The Golden Contract” Light Heavyweight tournament and world-renowned UK-based trainer of champions, Ben Davison’s state-of-the-art Performance Centre, located outside London, Ingalaterra.

Incidentally, Davison, who has worked with a long list of boxing luminaries including Josh Taylor and Billy Joe Saunders, as well as heavyweight king Tyson Fury previously, has given Masoud an important seal of approval by signing on as his trainer.

“Masoud has the potential of a pound-for-pound-level fighter,” said Davison. “I believe he can achieve that. He’s like Naz was in his prime and he has all the same swagger and showmanship. He’s also a good kid who works hard in the gym to reach his goals. That’s why I was happy to find out he had been acquired by the Brains Bioceutical people who are innovating CBD’s countless benefits for an athletes’ rest and recovery.”

Brains will also have a presence on the ring canvas at the Hotel Plaza in Quebec City, Kanadan, asteartean, March 16, for promoter Yvon Michel’s upcoming event “The Homecoming,” his first in 16 hilabete. The $29.99 PPV card is headlined by a rematch featuring WBC #1 bridgerweight Oscar “Kaboom” Rivas (26-1, 18 Kos) and Sylvera “Sly” Louis (8-5, 4 Kos) in the eight-round main event.

“Shabaz Masoud is a welcome addition to our worldwide team of athlete ambassadors,” said Ricky Brar, CEO & Presidentea, Brains Bioceutical Corp. He has the skills and the personality to become boxing’s newest superstar and Brains Pure CBD will be right by his side.”

“As the makers of one of the world’s purest CBD products, tested by a World Anti-Doping Agency approved lab, Brains Pure CBD is ideal for fighters,” Brar continued. We’re proud of our roles in the lives of some of the bravest competitors in all of sport.”

“The Homecoming” will be livestreamed by FITE worldwide on the FITE mobile app, all major OTT apps and website (FITE.tv), Honela hasten 8 p.m. ETA / 5 p.m. PT, for USD $29.99 (available in English or French). It will also be available in Canada via Canal Indigo, Bell TV, Shaw TV and YOOP for $39.99 CDN.

TWO LIVE TV EVENTS FROM SCOTLAND SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST EXCLUSIVELY LIVE ON FITE TV

Nathan Beattie vs Milton Arauz headlines 1st August and 6 time World Champion Lee McAllister vs Edwin Palacios headlines 15th August

Following the success of the inaugural LET BATTLE COMMENCE, in association with PAPA JOHN’S PIZZA & NEON ENERGY DRINK, that took place at the Northern Hotel in Aberdeen last weekend, promoter Lee Mcallister has announced two more events in the series which will be broadcast live and exclusive on FITE TV on Saturday 1st August and Saturday 15th August 2020.

Back on the 18th July the fans of the pugilistic arts around the world watching LET BATTLE COMMENCE 1 on FITE TV were treated to the spectacle of the return to the fray by Lineal World Boxing Organization (WBO) Featherweight World Champion Scott Harrison, who faced and stopped Professional Boxing Council (PBC) International Champion Paul Peers in a non-championship six rounder.

Prior to Harrison-Peers the fans tuned in watched an incredible Battle Royale between 10 time Kick Boxing World Champion Caitlin Foran, who was making her professional boxing debut, and Professional Boxing Council (PBC) International Bronze Champion Jaime Bates, who stepped in as late replacement after original opponent Carly Mackenzie broke two toes in a riding accident the previous weekend. After six incredibly closely fought rounds Foran secured the victory by a close 58-56 points tally.

The third fight of the night was a fantastic all action War between undefeated Lewis Mulberry and Nicaragua’s Johnson Tellez. I’m sure those watching on TV were as enthralled with the action as much as myself, Mulberry’s ring name is “Machine Gun’ and believe me that is a most appropriate moniker, gisa 19 year old peppered the body of his far more experienced opponent with fast and powerful left and rights at a mega rapid pace. After six scintillating all action rounds, Referee Edward Law’s scorecard read 60-54 in favour of the teen sensation Lewis Mulberry.

Prior to Mulberry-Tellez Perth’s Adam Stewart (1-0-0) made his return to the ring against late replacement Nicaragua’s Alexander Zeledon, following an injury sustained by original opponent Liverpool’s Steve Sunners (4-0-0). Earlier this year Zeledon beat Manchester’s Dan Booth (4-1-0), so not an easy opponent, regardless of his negative record, egiteko 25 year old Stewart who returned to the fray following a three year sabbatical.

What a cracking fight, both protagonists went at it hammer and tongs for close to four rounds before Stewart’s power came into play late in the fourth. With around 25 second or so of the round remaining Stewart fired a massive Exocet to send the Nicaraguan to the deck, Zeledon was clearly in pain as he unsuccessfully tried to make it to his feet. Official time of stoppage 2 minutes and 40 laugarren itzuliko segundoak.

The opening fight of the night see 18 year old Heavyweight Liam Allan from Aberdeen make his professional debut against Puerto Rican Jose F Leon. Cracking opening round, but in the second Allan’s mature approach, that belied his tender years, really came into play.

As the second stanza progressed, Allan worked behind his superb jab to fashion some good openings, which he took without a second thought. Just about mid way through the second round one such opening enabled the youngster to let rip with a massive shot that sent Leon to the deck. Leon made the count and boxing resumed, then with around 30 seconds of the round remaining Allan created another opening and once again let rip and landed a big shot to send the South American to the canvas for a second time, the tough Puerto Rican tried to make it to his feet again but just failed to make the count, official time of the stoppage was 2 minutes and 40 segundo.

The first August event, BATASUNA HASI dadin II, in association with PAPA JOHN’S PIZZA and NEON ENERGY DRINK, takes place at the Northern Hotel in Aberdeen and broadcast live and exclusive by FITE TV on Saturday 1ST AUGUST 2020.

UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH 10 TIME WORLD KICKBOXING CHAMPION CAITLIN FORAN AHEAD OF HER PRO BOXING DEBUT

With this pandemic lockdown in full force virtually world-wide, many fights have been already been cancelled, from the biggest, such as Anthony Joshua versus Kubrat Pulev, right through to many small hall events.

Whilst clearly the lockdown is affecting everyone involved in our beloved sport, it made me think of those that had been preparing for their professional boxing debut, such as today’s victim, sorry guest, Caitlin Foran, who was due to debut in Orkney on the 25th April.

Caitlin is a ten time Kickboxing World Champion, quite an accomplishment for someone that is still just 19 urtetik, let’s face it to achieve such a high status in any sport at such a young age is quite an accomplishment and without doubt her extensive combat sports experience is going to benefit her when this pandemic is over and she makes her pro debut.

I actually had the pleasure of meeting Caitlin back in March at an event in Barrow-in-Furness, where she was supporting Paul Peers when he challenged, and beat, Nicaraguan Milton Arauz for the Professional Boxing Council (PBC) International title, and always intended to cover her pro debut, but with that put back until later in the year due to the current situation decided instead to arrange an interview with her.

Enough of my waffle, let’s get to know this amazing teen star a little better.

(GDC) Hello Caitlin, thank you for taking the time to answer a few questions for us. My first question is I understand you are a multi-World Champion Kick Boxer, can you please tell our readers a little about your Kick Boxing career?

(CF) So I started kickboxing in 2008 at the age of eight, at the time I was juggling kickboxing with lots of other sports and activities but over time my attention just stuck with kickboxing and it became my life.

I certainly wasn’t one of these people that had a talent for the sport. I wasn’t flexible, I had no confidence, but the one thing I did have that has carried me through to this day is determination.

Living on an island we weren’t able to get to as many competitions as other clubs on the mainland could which meant we knew we had to really put in the extra effort to make up for the lack of experience.

Also coming from a large family where my mother was a single parent to 5 children meant I rarely was able to get away to compete and didn’t really start competing properly until I got my black belt in 2011.

I then started competing usually once a month with the first big one being the WKA Scottish championships in Glasgow where I won 2x golds, that was my first big confidence booster and I went on to compete more often winning more Scottish titles as well as British and European.

I then got invited to my first world championships in 2013 in Italy where I came away with a bronze medal.

I always preferred points fighting when I was competing, which is a more karate style, ‘start stopstyle of fighting, but at my second World championships in Prague in 2014, there was a woman without a fight for her ring Continuous section so I was asked if I would take the fight.

I’ve never been one to turn down a fight so I took the fight and ended up winning it as well as two others so I came away with my first three World titles and new love for ring fighting.

Aurrera 2014 ra 2017 I went on to win seven more World titles in various countries.

By 2016/17 my kickboxing career was really taking off and I was looking at turning professional sometime soon, however at the end of 2017 my coach Ryan Reffell sadly passed which put an end to my kickboxing career.

(GDC) What influenced you to switch from Kick Boxing to Professional Boxing?

(CF) As I mentioned previously, I have never been a naturally flexible person so in kickboxing my legs were predominantly used for powerful body single kicks.

While I was still training with Ryan as part of Nemesis Kickboxing, at the end of 2015 we decided I was getting better with my hands and started thinking about switching to boxing.

This lead Ryan to start boxing classes on a Monday night as well as the kickboxing classes through the week.

I was offered my first fight that September with 4 days notice for the UKBC featherweight international title. I went on to win the fight and defended it in a rematch that December.

2017 was when I really started to focus more on boxing and less on kickboxing and had two more fights, with the last fight in my unlicensed career being a Five Nations title fight in April 2017 which brought my record to 4-0-0.

I thought my boxing career had ended then, until Paul Peers moved to Orkney in 2018 and got in touch via Facebook which then kickstarted my training again as he showed great interest in my boxing and was a massive help in getting my love for the sport back and showed that he believed in me which made me more confident in myself and got myself back to training properly again ahead of signing my professional contract in January this year.

(GDC) You were due to be undertaking your professional boxing debut in Orkney on the 25th April, obviously this is being rescheduled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, so firstly how have your preparations been going?

(CF) Bai, it was devastating when all this started but I am making sure to keep as active as I can with daily running and home exercises making use of the little space I do have at home.

(GDC) Has the Government ordered lockdown had an effect on your preparations?

(CF) Prior to lockdown we were getting sparring in at least once or twice a week at the club and had started our partnership with Lee Mcallister at Assassin’s boxing in Aberdeen in order to mix Orkney Boxing Clubs fighters with theirs for some sparring at weekends.

We only managed this once so far with weather being bad and boats not certain to run but were planning more in the lead up to the show.

(GDC) When the lockdown ends and the new date is announced, your opponent is stated to be Carly Mackenzie, do you know much about her?

(CF) I was originally due to fight Carly Mackenzie however my opponent recently changed to Professional Boxing Council (PBC) International Silver Champion Jamie Bates Wallis. I don’t know a great deal about Jamie to be honest but from what I’ve seen she is a strong orthodox boxer with a strong offence and sharp defence.

I took the fight knowing it would be a challenge especially being my first fight back in 3 urte.
She’s proved to be a champion so in order for me to become a champion I must beat champions.

(GDC) Moving away from your career to date, who is your favourite boxer, male or female, and why?

(CF) My favourite boxer to date has got to be Katie Taylor. She has played a massive part in getting Women’s boxing to where it is today and is a real inspiration to any athlete out there as she has shown that any obstacle can be overcome if you really want something.

(GDC) In the same vein, which is your all time favourite fight, and why?

(CF) It is so hard to choose a favourite fight but one has to be Katie Taylor’s most recent fight against Christina Linardatou as she continued her winning record and added WBO Super-Lightweight world title to her ever growing list of achievements. Usually Taylor would be getting stuck into the fight, firing shot after shot. However she kept to the outside this time boxing smart and not wasting energy.

(GDC) Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions, finally is there anyone you would like to mention with regard to your upcoming debut?

(CF) I would like to give thanks to my sponsor, Gary Sutherland at GSRI, Steven Logie at Strength 101 for keeping me in shape and Paul Peers for everything he has done over the last year and a half to get my confidence back up and reignite my love for boxing. I would also like to give a shout out to all of my old teammates at Nemesis kickboxing Academy and Nemesis Boxing Gym without them I wouldn’t be where I am today.

About The Kiyan Prince Foundation:

The Kiyan Prince Foundation was established in 2008 in memory of Kiyan Prince, Dr Prince’s fifteen-year-old son and a talented footballer who was stabbed in the heart, whilst trying to break up a fight, outside his school gates. This devastating tragedy marked the beginning of a journey which has not only transformed Dr Prince’s life but also equipped him with the knowledge and skills to support families and help prevent similar cases. In this process, he has had to defeat two of life’s toughest challenges – anger and revenge, find the strength to forgive and the commitment to substitute anger with positive life skills.

About Kiyan Prince:

Kiyan Prince was the first son born to Mark Prince and Tracy Cumberbatch on 25th November 1990.

He was an outgoing and well loved young man who got along with everybody. Teachers, fellow pupils, Queens Park Rangers football team… in fact anyone who came into contact with Kiyan counted it a privilege to have done so.

On May 18th 2006 Kiyan’s life came to a tragic, untimely and unnecessary end. The loving nature, by which he was known, was what made him step in and defend his friend who was being picked on by another youth.

The incident took place outside the gates of his school, the London Academy, located in Edgware North London. Kiyan attempted to resolve the situation in the most peaceable way by directly challenging the aggressor.

The ‘killer’, 16 year old Hannad Hasan, felt that Kiyan had disrespected him because he stood up to him. He then turned and callously killed Kiyan – plunging a knife straight into his chest. Kiyan died of a single, but fatal, stab wound to his heart.

Kiyan, who played for Queens Park Rangers Under-16’s football team. He was dubbed ‘The Bullet’ because of his speed and he was hailed as the next Wayne Rooney… tipped to play for England.

Kiyan was a beautiful, thoughtful, kind and considerate young man. . How he lived was reflected in the way he died… in probably the last words he ever spoke…

Even though he must have been very scared and in pain… in dying he still represented the life he lived. His heart was so full of love and empathy for others. In his final minutes his thoughts were, orduan ere, still of others. As he lay bleeding he told his friends: “if these are my last words… tell my Mum I love her.”

About Mark Prince:

Dr Mark Prince is CEO and Founder of the Kiyan Prince Foundation, a charity borne out of pain, suffering and grief. Through a series of personal challenges (homelessness, drugs and alcohol abuse and criminal activity); triumphs and tragedy, the then known Mark Prince, developed a burning desire to support young people embroiled in a downward spiral of urban violence. The devastating tragedy of his son’s murder in 2006 further confirmed the importance of early intervention in a young person’s life in order to prevent what often seems like an inevitable journey into despair.

Education and Sport:

A significant part of the foundation’s work is to target school aged children and young people from primary through to secondary and tertiary education, through mentoring, life skills and training programmes. Being a professional boxer achieving titles such as the IBF and WBO Inter-continental Light-heavy weight Championship by (1997) and fighting for a world title in 1998, Dr Prince has invaluable skills and experiences that help in the development and transformation of young people’s lives for good. His autobiography The Prince of Peace written by Dr Prince and Paul Zanon is already a best seller.

Collaboration:

The Kiyan Prince Foundation is a project that has seen Dr Prince collaborate with a range of notable individuals, organisations, komunikabideak, government officials and celebrities to shine a light on the socio-economic issues impacting on young people and families nationally. He has been involved in the creation and the was the feature of the ITV documentary, “Put the Knives and Guns Down” screened on ITV London Tonight Special; panel member for The News of The World’s “Save Our Streets” campaign; keynote speaker at Metropolitan Police Operation Trident Program; and guest speaker at conferences such as, the NBCPA National Black Crown Prosecutors Association Annual Conference and the National Governor Prison Association Annual Conference.

Recognition and Vision:

In recognition of the significant contribution to the community and fight against knife crime, Dr Prince has received several well-deserved awards e.g. The Children’s Champion Award from Prime Minister Gordon Brown; an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Excel University; and recently in the Queen’s New Year Honours list (2019) to receive an OBE.

It is the foundation’s vision to obtain funding/raise the revenue to deliver#inspiringfuturechampions a campaign which involves delivering powerful messages to every school in London first, with inspirational speakers who are high level influencers amongst young people together with Dr Prince sharing with them how to utilise their strength of will, recognise their potential, individuality, purpose, how to value themselves, come back from adversity and the power of self-belief, which when understood all leads to young people steering clear of guns and knives which is a problem of the mind and not of the knife.

The Freeman Juggernaut Rolls OnStops O’Reilly in Four

Liverpool’s unbeaten Middleweight prospect Martin Freeman made an emphatic statement on Saturday night, with his fourth round stoppage victory over Will O’Reilly at the Jubilee Sports Bank in his home city.

The 26 year old Liverpudlian exuded class throughout the contest, even when being forced onto the back foot by the ever moving forward all out attack tactics employed by O’Reilly, Freeman just adapted his tactics to counter and control the contest in sensational fashion.

The Liverpudlian’s power was the defining factor of the contest, especially in the fourth, when a massive right from Freeman shook O’Reilly to the core, forcing the Mancunian battler to stagger back onto the ropes and cover up just as the contest approached the minute mark of the round.

In an instant Freeman stepped forward and let rip with a scintillating bombardment of massive lefts and rights, O’Reilly covered up and absorbed the first couple of shots on the gloves and arm, but Freeman’s power and precise placement ensured that the Liverpudlian’s Exocets began to power their way through the Mancunian’s guard with little resistance, after a couple of particularly venomous head shots referee Chris Kelly stepped in and stopped the contest on the one minute and two second mark of the fourth round.

Following the fight Freeman said;

I am really pleased with my performance from Saturday night.

“Yes it was a tough fight and my opponent not only took some of my best shots but he also gave some good punches too!

“I’m definitely glad I got some good rounds in too as I won my last two fights in the first round.”

Freeman’s gym mate Lee Cooper was also on the card and secured a shut out points victory over Kyle McNicholas.

Both Freeman and Cooper will be back in action on the next Kyle Gallagher promoted Victory Fight Club event at the Jubilee Sports Bank on 28th March 2020.

Decastro sensazionalki gelditzen da Castaneda Five-n Lincoln-en

Txostena: Gianluca Di Caro

Larunbat gauean On, Lincoln Unibertsitateko Makina Aretoan, bertako zaleak indarrean agertu ziren Nathan Decastro bertako mutikoari laguntzeko Munduko Boxeo Batasunaren defentsan (WBU) Apirilaz geroztik lortu duen Munduko Pisu Ertaineko Super titulua eta baita Munduko Boxeo Fundazioa gehitzen saiatu ere (WBF) Koroa Fernando Castaneda mexikarraren ordezko beranduaren aurkako bilduman.

Jatorriz Decastrok Jose Varela nikaraguarra izango zuen aurrean, hala ere asteazkenean Varela, garai hartan Espainian zegoena, Espainiako Agintariek irteera-bisa ukatu zioten Bartzelonako aireportura Erresuma Batura joateko, beraz, ezin izan zuen Lincolnera bidaia egin.

Borroka bera nahiko gauza nahasia izan zen, Castanedaren etengabeko ustiapena dela eta, Decastroren lehorreratzearen ondoren, lehenengoan fusilatutako gorputz maltzur bat Mexikokoari argi eta garbi eragiten zion, Decastro aurreratu eta erauzten uzten zuen bakoitzean eusten zion gorputzari zigor gehiago ekiditeko.

Bi eta hiru txandak antzeko ildoan izan ziren, nahiz eta bidezko izan boxeo pixka bat gehiago egon, borroka baino, Ekintza. Decastrok bere etsaiaren gorputza lantzen zuen aukera zuen bakoitzean, hori ez zen askotan Mexikoko hit and hold taktikaren ondorioz.

Laugarren txanda irekiagoa izan zen Lee Murtagh epaileak Castanedarekin ustiategiari buruz hitz zorrotzak izan ondoren, hainbeste izan ziren ondorengo truke pozoitsu batzuk, hala ere, Decastrok Castaneda gorpua zuzentzen zuen bakoitzean hasieran harrapatzen zuen, beraz, Decastro bururaino tiroak egiten hasi zen.

Decastrok argi eta garbi aski zuen Castanedaren taktikekin zapuztu izana bosgarren ahapaldia hasi zenean, Bardneyko gizonak taktika apur bat aldatu zuen eta askoz ere azkarrago hasi zen aurrera egiten eta jaurtiketa larriak egin zituen lehen minutuan edo, Castanedak modu onean baina nahiko eraginkorrean erantzun zuen bere gorputza zigor gehiagotik babesteko erabakia zela eta, distantzia mantenduz.

Biribilaren erdialdera gutxi gorabehera, Decastrok mexikarra sokara bultzatu zuen eta kolpe bat eman zuen, Castanedak eskuak altxatzea nahikoa irekitze bat sortzeko eta mexikarra oihalera bidali zuen gorputzera amu masiboarekin erauzi zezakeen minarekin bikoiztu egin zen.

Castaneda hasieran igotzen saiatu zen, baina berehala erori eta mina egin zuen, Lee Murtagh epaileak berehala uko egin zion borrokari eta medikua deitu zuen ringera, Decastrok eta bere taldeak ospakizunak hasi zituztenean.. Geldialdiaren denbora ofiziala bosgarren itzuliko minutu bat eta hogeita zortzi segundo.

Decastro-Castaneda baino lehenago ikusi Sophie Varley Jaime Batesen aurkako ekintza Boxeo Profesionaleko Kontseilurako (PBC) Nazioarteko Brontzezko Txapelketa.

Esan beharra dago hasieratik bukaerara arteko borroka gogorra izan zela, bi neskek gogor borrokatu zuten txanda bakoitzeko bi minutuetan. Varley-k jaurtiketa handiak egiten ditu, tartean, Bates muinera astindu zuen seigarrenean, hankak desagertu zitzaizkion baina nolabait bere oinetan gelditzea lortu zuen, baina nahiko adimentsua izan zen bere buruari lasaitasuna berreskuratzeko segundo batzuk emateko, Varley urrun mantentzeko jab bat zintzilikatuta.

Txanda bakoitza ekintza eta oso estua zen, hainbeste, ezin izan ditudala banatu, puntuazio jakintsua, txanda batzuetan eta nire buruan bakoitzak txanda pare bat lortu dituela eta aitortu behar dut emaitza berdinketa izango zela pentsatu nuela, oker nengoen (Argi ez naiz epaile materiala) eskarmentu handiko hiru epaileek puntuazio txartelak irakurri bezala; Adrian Thorne 57-59, James Ancliff 57-58 eta Graeme Beauly 56-59 dena Jaime Batesen alde.

Varley-Batesen aurretik Sheffield-en estreinako Zac Lane eta Frederick Castro nikaraguarraren arteko beste borroka arrakastatsua izan zen..

Estiloen arteko talka izan zen benetan borroka hau eragin zuena, Castrok eraso estilo aurreratua du, Layne-k, berriz, Prince Naseem-en estiloa imitatzen du, eta mutila, mutila, gazteak estilo hau bere egin zuen, Nikaraguarrak erasotzen zuen bakoitzean kontagailu zorrotzak bota aurretik arriskutik kanpo murgilduz eta kulunkatuz. Layne azpimarratu behar nuela esatea ez da batere dimentsiokoa, behar zenean, zoriontsu baino gehiagotan joaten zen, ezker eta eskubide bizkor eta indartsuekin erauzten utziz.

Borroka bikaina izan zen ikustea, itxi eta ekintza guztiak zehar. Lau txanda zoragarrien ondoren Lee Murtagh epaileak lortu zuen lehiaketa 39-37 Zac Layne Debutatuaren alde, Castroren eta bere kornerraren gogaikarria, epaileak markagailua eztabaidatzen inguratu baitzuen, hori oso ondo ulertzen dut erasotzaileena zela, baina esan behar dut Layne-k mexikarraren erasoak erraz neutralizatu zituela eta bere kontrakoa izugarria izan zen eta nire ustez nahikoa baino gehiago egin zuen garaipena lortzeko.

Layne versus Castroren aurretik, thrillerreko beste thriller bat izan zen, garaitu gabeko bi borrokalari Sugar Atahasan Turkiako Zipreko Errepublikako Leeds-eko Jack Jones-en aurka.

Atahasan nagusitu zen lehen estrofan, bere irismen abantailak efektu oso onak erabiliz. Hala ere, ez zuen bere bidea, batez ere borroka bigarrenean aurrera egin zuenean Jonesek pazientziaz irekitzen baitzituen irekidurak moldatzen, Atahasaneko gorputzera eta burura tiro handiekin erauzten utzi aurretik..

Atahasanek engranaje bat igo zuen eta benetan hirugarrenean joan zen, eta lehen prozedura nagusituetan bezala. Laugarrenean berdin, ondo iritsi arte, Jonesek Atahasanen defentsako akatsa aprobetxatu eta turko zipretarra mihisera bidali zuen jaurtiketa baten mertxika hartu zuen arte.. Atahasanek ia ez zuen ukitu eta berehala jarri zen oinetan eta berrabiatzean gogor eta azkar joan zen txandaren amaierara arte.

Lau txanda sentsazionalen ondoren, Lee Murtagh epaileak aginte fitxa irakurri zuen 37-38 Jack Jonesen alde.

Gaueko laugarren lehiaketak Paul Orkneyko Liverpudlian oinarritutako Orkadetan oinarritu zen Tanzaniako Amos Mwamakula-ren aurka lau txandan.

Berriro ere, zer ekintza fantastiko gerra fantastikoa, Ikaskideak gogor eta bizkor sartu ziren eta presioa pilatzen jarraitu zuten gorputzari eta bururako jaurtiketa masiboekin lehenengo txanda osoan, Mwamakula bezain garbia da Peers-en eraso indartsu biziei aurre egiteko bezain gogorra.

Bigarrena zertxobait ez zen hain bizia izan, Ikaskideek taktika apur bat aldatzea aukeratu zuten, erritmoa motelduz eta bere jaurtiketak hautatuz. Hirugarrenean ere berdin, baina laugarrenean parekideek erritmoa apur bat areagotu zuten eta lehenengoan Tanzaniarren gorputz gogor gogorrari zuzendu zitzaion bezala.

Lee Murtagh Epaileak lau boxeotako txanda bikainak irakurri ondoren 40-36 Paul Peersen alde.

Aurretik Peers vs Mwamakula Barrow-in-Furness-en Lee Kellett-en eta Lituaniako Tomas Vaicickas-en arteko pisu handiko lehia izan zen..

Berriro ere gerraren kontrakoa izan zen, bi gizonak lehiaketaren zati handi batean irtengo dira. Kelleten errendimendua aspaldi ikusi nuenetik ikusi nuen onena izan zen, ziur zegoen eta benetan boterea atzean uzten zuen.

Vaicickas etorri bezain gogorra da eta zorionez xurgatu zituen Barrow gizonarengandik ateratzen ziren plano handiak estiloari aurre egin aurretik. Kellet nagusitu zen bitartean txandetako lehen kopan, Vaicickas hirugarrena sartu zen erritmoa areagotu ondoren.

Laugarrena Kellet izan zen, hainbesteraino non borroka azken minutuan sartu zenean lituaniarra amore eman eta Kellettek jarritako erritmoaren ondorioz sokara bizkarra zutitu eta nahierara ukabilkadak xurgatu zituen..

Lau txanda bikainen ondoren Lee Murtagh Arbitroaren puntuazio txartela izan zen, harrigarriro irakurri zuena 39-36 Lee Kellett-en alde.

Gaueko bigarren borrokak Zipreko Turkiako Errepublikako Metin Turunc Puerto Ricoko Jose F Leonen aurka jarri zuen.

Turunc gogor eta azkar hasi zen, aukera guztiei bonba masiboak jaurtitzea eta literalki Leon erasotzen ari zen, nork ozta-ozta aurki zezakeen kontra egiteko irekiera hainbeste jaurtiketa handi etengabe etortzen zitzaizkion.

Puerto Ricoko kornerra oso kezkatuta zegoenez, lehen txandako minutuaren inguruan, bere izkinak eskuoihala bota zuen bere gizona zigor gehiago salbatzeko ahaleginetan., Hala ere, Lee Murtagh epaileak eskuoihala bota eta borrokak jarraitzen utzi zuen, hori egin zuen baina ez zuen denbora luzez Turuncek beste jaurtiketa erraldoi bat lortu zuen Leon jaurtitzeko lehen itzuliko minutu bateko eta hogeita zazpiko bigarren markan..

Mesedez, ez gaizki ulertu, Bai noranzko bakarreko trafikoa zen, Turunc-ekin normala dela dirudi, Aurretik borrokan ikusi dut eta badakit zein gupidagabea den, Leon borrokan saiatzeko ahaleginik handiena saiatu zen, baina turkiar xiberotar larri eta gogorrak gainditu zuen.

Gauaren hasierako borrokak benetan eman zion tonua arratsalde guztiari, lehenago argi utzi izana espero dudan moduan, guztiak barrako ekitaldi nagusia eta noski Turunc vs Leon, borrokak estuki borrokatu ziren maila goreneko Battle Royale-renak, ondo sinetsidazu hasierako borroka, Lewis Mulberry eta Gerona estreinatu artean, Pablo Narvaez nikaraguarrak Espainian du egoitza, beste maila bat zen berriro, sentsazionala izan zen.

Mulberry benetan joan zen hasierako kanpaitik eta sentsazionalki boxeatu zuen, Narvaez talentua da, beraz, ez da harritzekoa batailan egotea eta trukean lortu zuen bezain ona eman zuen, hala ere, gauzak pixka bat okertu zitzaizkion nikaraguarrari lehenengoan tiro baten melokotoi batek harrapatu eta mihisera bidali zuenean – esango dut Narvaez ekintzan zenbait aldiz ikusi dudala eta lehen aldiz ikusi dudala, beraz, zorionak Mulberry gazteari.

Bigarren txandan Narvaez apur bat gehiago defendatzen da, nahiz eta oraindik pozik egon puntako gaztearekin punpekin joaten. Hirugarren txandan, ordea, alderantzizkoa ikusten da zorteetan, Narvaez benetan prozeduraren oinarria hartzen hasi baita, horri esker, Mulberryk bere defentsarako talentua eta kontrako sentsazioa erakutsi zituen. Laugarrena kanpoko eta kanpoko gerra izan zen, bi gizonek hiru minutu osora joateko. Lee Murtagh epaileak lau boxeoko txanda distiratsuen ostean lortu zuen lehiaketa 39-37 estreinako Lewis Mulberryren alde.

Mulberry versus Narvaez bihurtu behar dut Gaueko borroka, aparta zen, eta, gainera, esan behar dut Mulberry benetan harrituta dagoela, bera da benetako tratua, tresna guztiak ditu bularraldean gure kirol maitean gailurreraino joateko, Nik, ezin dut itxaron berriro ekintzan ikusteko, ziur.
