NEW YORK, NY (December 21, 2015) – A capacity crowd enjoyed the recent 29th årsring 8 Holiday Event and Awards Ceremony at Russo’s On The Bay in Howard Beach, New York.
Five-tid, champion två division världen Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley received the Ring 8 Fighter of the Year Award. Övrig 2015 Ring 8 pristagarna (se hela listan nedan) included former New York State Athletic Commission chairperson Melvina Lathan(Kvinna av årtiondet), obesegrad nr. 1 världen weltervikt utmanare Port “Världs Kid” Är (NY Fighter of the Year), Heather Hardy (NY Kvinna Fighter of the Year), “Irlands” John Duddy (Okrönte mästare), Andre Rozier (Tränare of the Year) och Joe DeGuardia (Arrangören of the Year). “Vi hade 340 people and everybody enjoyed themselves,” reported Ring 8 president Bob Duffy. “Things went very well. There were a few emotional acceptance speeches and some tears shed.
“We donated a table to Wounded Warriors and also presented Keith Sullivan with a special trophy for all the legal work and support he gives Ring 8, New York State Boxing Hall of Fame, Atlas Foundation, Boxing Writers Association of America, and boxing in New York.”

sibirien, Ryssland (November 12, 2015)– Efter hans framträdande prestation detta tidigareLördag när han stoppade tidigare obesegrade Jesus Alvarez Rodriguez, fd weltervikt mästare WBO junior, Ruslan Provodnikov är redo för en enorm 2016 när han riktar de bästa fighters på junior weltervikt & weltervikt.
På toppen av sin lista är WBO weltervikt mästare, Timothy Bradley.
Provodnikov stoppade Rodriguez i 4 rundor i main event på 7th Edition Monte-Carlo Boxing Bonanza Night of Champions och söker den största fisken till yngel när han ger sig ut på det nya året.

Kampen var hans jungfrufärd med ny tränare Joel Diaz.

“Detta var en bra vinst för mig. Jag kände mig säker och mitt försvar redan kände sig bättre. Jag vet att saker och ting i nästa läger kommer att samlas för mig och Joel utbildning. Mitt mål för nästa år är att hämnas mina förluster till Lucas Matthysse, Mauricio Herrera, Timothy Bradley och Chris Algieri!”, Said Provodnikov.
