Ruben Villa Returns Headlines Thompson Boxing Event on April 15th

ONTARIO, ZOALS (Maart 16, 2022) – Returning after his first chance at a world title, Thompson Boxing’s vedergewicht mededinger Ruben “Drac” Villa (18-1, 5 KO), met wie co-promotie wordt gemaakt Banner Promotions, zal zijn 2022 debut as he headlines Thompson Boxing’s “Path To Glory” event on Friday, April 15, 2022. Miguel Madueño to Fight in WBA Title Elimination Bout Against Jezzrel Corrales on March 12th

**ORANJE, ZOALS (Maart 7, 2022)** – Thompson Boxing’s unbeaten lightweight contender, **Miguel “El Explosivo” Madueño** (27-0, 25 KO), who is known for his explosive power and exciting fights, now has the chance of a lifetime as he faces former world champion **Jezzrel Corrales** (25-4, 10 KO), in WBA lightweight title eliminator. The 12-round bout will take place at the Roberto Duran Arena in Panama City, Panama on March 12, 2022, on a “KO to Drugs” event hosted by the WBA.

The 23-year-old Madueño is looking to change his life forever as a win would put him in line to be a mandatory challenger for the WBA lightweight world champion, which is currently held by **George Kambosos Jr.** (20-0, 10 KO), one of the biggest names in the sport.

“I want to thank my promoter Thompson Boxing for guiding my career in such a great way,” said Madueño, who is currently riding a 13-fight knockout streak. “They provided a way to get in me in a position to display my skills to the world. This is my moment, and I will raise to the occasion as I want to be Thompson Boxing’s next great world champion.”

That fight just took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL, Op september 14, 20201. Fresh off the win, Madueño is excited to be right back in the ring.

(Zeven. 21, 2020)** – Op vrijdagavond, 9 oktober, ongeslagen WBO nummer twee gerangschikt vedergewicht mededinger **Ruben Villa** (18-0, 5 KO) krijgt zijn welverdiende wereldtitel als hij het opneemt tegen voormalig WBO-wereldkampioen super bantamgewicht, en WBO nummer één gerangschikte mededinger, **Emanuel Navarrete** (32-1, 28 KO), in een strijd om de WBO World Featherweight-titel.

PHILADELPHIA, PENN. / ORANJE, Calif. (November. 18, 2018) – Junior lichtgewicht Michael Dutchover (12-0, 9 KO) closed out Thompson Boxing’s season finale in emphatic fashion by knocking out the well-tested veteran Ruben Tamayo (27-12-4, 18 KO) in the third round Friday night from the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, Calif.

Nederlands Over, who had turned 21 the day prior, celebrated his birthday weekend with his fifth win of the year and fourth straight knockout victory.

The West Texas-based Dutchover used his patience in the first round to learn the appropriate angles against Tamayo, who had previously been in the ring against first class talent such as Jhonatan Romero, Oscar Valdez, Joseph Diaz and Jesus Cuellar.

In de derde, Dutchover unlocked his power with a left hook to the body that stunned and forced Tamayo to take a knee. After Tamayo beat the count, Dutchover attacked and landed a right onto the midsection, which dropped Tamayo once again.

Referee Lou Moret immediately waived off the fight at the 2:15 mark.

“I feel like I’m growing into a better fighter with each and every fight,” Said Dutchover, who is promoted by industry veterans Banner Promotions en Thompson Boksen. “I took my time in the first round, but then my corner advised me to start letting my hands go and I got the knockout win. I’m looking forward to another great year in 2019.”

Michael Dutchover Looks to Close out 2018 With Another Win

PHILADELPHIA, PENN. / ORANJE, Calif. (Oktober. 29, 2018) – The fast-rising Michael Dutchover (11-0, 8 KO), with four solid wins on the year, aims to close out 2018 with another victory on Vrijdag, November. 16, van de Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, Calif.

“I’ve been in with some of the top names in the sport and they all teach me something different,” Dutchover said. “Danny Roman, Oscar Valdez and Jessie Magdaleno are a few that come to mind. They are incredible boxers and good people too. I’m fortunate to have met them this early in my career.”
