HUMBERTO “TITO” VELAZCO SCORES SENSATIONAL KNOCKOUT IN EL PASO, TX

AGUASCALIENTES, MX (Febrer 19, 2018) – Aquest passat Dissabte, en el Do Haskins Center a El Paso, TX, Promocions de sucre light-heavyweight prospect, Humberto “Tito” Velazco (19-1-1, 14 KOs), scored the knockout of the night, contra Thomas “Top Dog” Williams Jr. (20-4, 14 KOs).
Velazco, who hails from Aguascalientes, Mèxic, rallied from an early first round knockdown, which was more of an off-balance circumstance. Velazco wasn’t hurt and evened the score in the second round with his own knockdown, catching Williams with a short right to the face, a punch he didn’t see coming. Williams survived the round but was walking on wobbly legs. Now in a rhythm, Velazco’s timing was on point as he sent Williams to the deck for the second time in round three, this time hurting him badly with combination of punches. Williams survived once again only to be stopped in round four when Velazco, a heavy-handed southpaw, blasted him with a straight left, forcing the referee to stop the bout at the 1:37 marca.

Velazco vs. Williams Jr. was showcased on the PBC card headlined by Victor Ortiz vs. Devon Alexander. Look for Velaszco to be back in the ring by summer, most likely in his hometown of Aguascalientes, Mèxic.

QUEBEC CITY (Juliol 30, 2016) – Llum campió mundial de pes pesat Adonis “Superhome” Stevenson (28-1, 23 KOs) delivered a highlight reel knockout victory over Thomas “Top Dogg” Williams Jr. (20-2, 14 KOs) in the fourth-round of an exciting main event showdown on Lliga de Campions de Boxa a Espiga Divendres night from Centre Videotron in Quebec City, Canadà.
“It was a firefight,” said Stevenson. “He put pressure on me so I decided to put pressure on him too. It was a fight with two guys who could punch and it was spectacular. It was my daughter’s birthday and I gave her a great gift.”
The defending champion Stevenson, fighting in his adopted hometown, put Williams down in round one with a straight left hand. Williams was able to recover and began to fire back in round two. Williams hit the canvas as a result of a low blow early in the fourth, but regained his footing shortly after.
The notorious power puncher Stevenson eventually landed the deciding blow of the night when he caught Williams’ chin hanging in the pocket and delivered a straight left hand that put the challenger to the floor. El Washington, DC area-native was unable to recover, prompting referee Michael Griffin to stop the bout 2:54 into the fourth round.
Additional televised action saw rising middleweight contendersImmanuel Aleem (16-0-1, 9 KOs) i Demond Nicholson (17-1-1, 16 KOs) fight to a majority draw in their eight-round bout.
Neither fighter was able to control of the fight with Nicholson attempting to use his length and jab while Aleem tried to cut the distance and attack with short punches. Nicholson appeared to have the more effective attack in the early rounds, while Aleem began to have more success as the fight shifted to toe-to-toe action in the second half of the fight.
Els jutges’ scores reflected the close nature of the fight as one judge had it 77-74 for Aleem while the other two judges had it a 76-76 dibuixar.
The televised opener saw Eleider “Tempesta” Alvarez (20-0, 10 KOs) keep his perfect record intact with a unanimous decision victory over New Zealand’s Robert Berridge (27-5, 21 KOs) in a 10-round light heavyweight affair.
“I am happy with the win, but I would have liked a knockout! He was tough, but he did not hurt me at all and I thought that I hurt him. I am ready for my next challenge, which will hopefully be a world title fight.”
The top-rated contender for Stevenson’s title, Alvarez established his jab early on while attacking the body of Berridge with right hooks. Alvarez continued to control the fight from a distance as Berridge was slow to begin increasing his output before he started putting the pressure on in round five.
The southpaw Berridge was able to land occasionally on Alvarez with a looping left hand, but never put the undefeated fighter in danger. Alvarez began to have more success varying up his attack with right uppercuts and hooks that eventually left Berridge’s right eye swollen and bruised.
Alvarez took home the decision by scores of 99-90 i 98-92 dues vegades.

MONT-REAL, Canadà (Juny 14, 2016) – Groupe Yvon Michel (GIMNÀS) and Gestev are proud to officially announce, “SHOOTOUT”, the next fight for power-punching Adonis “Superhome” Stevenson, Juliol 29 at Centre Videotron, a presentation of Videotron in association with Mise-O-Jeu. This event is presented as part of the prestigious “Lliga de Campions de Boxa” (PBC) sèrie, to be broadcast live in the United States, and on Canal Indigo in Canada.

Thomas Williams Jr. Desenes segona ronda TKO sobre Humberto Savigne En Co-Main Event

BILOXI, SRTA. (Novembre 13) – En una transmissió per televisió mostrant quatre baralles que va durar un total de 13 rondes amb 11 caigudes i 4 nocauts, els fanàtics de la boxa van gaudir d'una nit de sensacional Lliga de Campions de Boxa (PBC) per Spike acció des del Beau Rivage Resort & Casino a Biloxi, Senyoreta. La vetllada va culminar amb un inoblidable guerra total entre els pesos pesants de la llum Edwin Rodríguez i Michael Segells.
Rodríguez va sortir gronxant des del primer campanada, caient Segells en la primera 30 segons de la baralla amb una esquerra dura. Segells, que es queixava de dislocar-se l'espatlla després del cop que primer va enviar Rodríguez a la lona, té fam d'una revenja dient:

“Va ser una gran baralla. Ell és un tipus dur. Vull una revenja. Si us plau, m'ho dóna.”
En la ràpida, però, plena d'acció televisat primer partit que va veure tres caigudes en menys de dues rondes, Thomas Williams Jr.anotar un emocionant nocaut tècnic en segona ronda sobre Humberto Savigne en un enfrontament de pes semipesado.

OMAR DOUGLAS GOTES BRAULIO SANTS DUES VEGADES EN LA SEVA MANERA DE victòria per decisió unànime

CALIFORNIA, Pennsilvània. (Setembre 16, 2015) – Sergent Sammy “The Who Can mexicana” Vásquez (20-0, 14 KOs)posar en un espectacle Dimarts nit pels seus fanàtics locals en el seu camí a l'atur cinquena ronda de Jose “Pistó” López (25-4-1, 15 KOs) a Lliga de Campions de Boxa (PBC) DIMARTS TOE-TO-TOE en FS1 i FOX Esports del Centre de Convocatòria a la Califòrnia State University of Pennsylvania a Califòrnia, Pennsilvània.
Vásquez va sortir fort des del principi, batent el López de difícil cobrament per la mà constantment en les primeres rondes. En la quarta ronda, Vásquez López trontollar diverses vegades amb combinacions durs.
En la cinquena ronda Vásquez es va fer càrrec de la lluita, derrocant d'hora a la ronda amb una altra ràfega. López va poder tot just superar el compte, però només va durar uns instants més, quan Vásquez el va fer caure amb una altra combinació, provocant àrbitre Gary Rosato per posar un alt a lluitar 1:08 a la ronda.

Els dos homes es van deduir un punt durant els 10 rounds, amb Douglas perdre un punt en la quarta ronda d'èxits darrere del cap i Sants s'ha de deduir per cops baixos a la setena ronda.
Douglas va començar la lluita ràpida, atacar el cos i guanyar una primera caiguda ronda amb un dur jab que va cridar Sants amb la guàrdia. Douglas va seguir això cap amunt en la segona ronda, connexió en un ganxo d'esquerra que va enviar a Sants a la lona.
Douglas tenia un clar avantatge en cops de poder aterrar amb un 165-117 discrepància, per CompuBox. Els jutges totals finals van ser 99-87, 97-89 i 96-90.

“Ell era real salvatge i l'últim que volia era quedar atrapat amb un cop de sort. El seu cos estava oberta cada vegada que venia amb la mà dreta. Quan ell va entrar amb la mà dreta el doble que va deixar les seves costelles ben oberts.
“Volia clau en el cos, però el seu cap hi era. Es va ajupir i estava llest per rebre cops.
“Jo estava a punt per a ell i vaig posar el combo de velocitat sobre ell i va ser més. Jo sabia que anava a treure'l d'allà.
“Em vaig girar amb els cops amb ell. Ell s'anava a si mateix oberta. Es va cansar després que ell va tractar de fer-me contra les cordes. Una vegada li vaig ficar amb un parell de uppercuts i un ganxo, Jo sabia que el llastimar.
“Va avançar, ell era molt dur. Ell només volia castigar però va teclejar en les meves oportunitats i el va treure d'allí.
“Sabia que podia fer-lo tornar pel tipus de boxejador que és i el conjunt d'habilitats que tinc i això és el que vam fer.
“Tothom davant meu està en la meva ment. Només puc arribar al cim en derrotar a la gent davant meu. No estic dient en veu alta els noms, perquè vull que cada persona classificat al davant de mi. Vull que tots.”
JOSE LOPEZ
“Volia atacar el cos i posar una mica de pressió sobre ell des de la primera ronda.
“Es va moure molt bé de costat a costat. Ell és un molt bon boxejador.
“Estic molt decebut. He vingut aquí per guanyar.”
OMAR DOUGLAS
“El jab és sempre una gran arma per a mi. Ell em va donar més moviment del cap després que jo estava aterrant el jab. Vaig tractar d'usar el jab al cos i fer-li mal diverses vegades. Ell era tan curt que tenia problemes per llançar cops al cos.
“A la segona caiguda em va amenaçar el jab i ho vaig aconseguir amb el ganxo d'esquerra. Jo hauria d'haver fet això tota la nit. Hi havia un munt d'oportunitats per a mi.
“Va ser una baralla dura. Era el tipus de baralla que necessitava. No he tingut una baralla difícil com això en molt de temps.
“Ell va posar al mig, una mica d'un noi rude. Estava al màxim el cap, tirant i tot. Quan vam arribar dins ens colpegem caps molt. L'àrbitre estava dient que estava colpejant a la part superior del cap, però que havia de venir en tan baixa.
“He fet molt millor feina abans, definitivament em va donar una dura lluita, però m'esperava.
“Vull lluitar amb els nois amb els registres de guanyar. Espero baralles difícils. Estic 15-0 ara i espero desafiaments.”
BRAULIO SANTS
“Va ser una baralla dura. No estic segur que he guanyat, però vaig pensar que era més a prop.
“No vaig tenir gaire temps per entrenar i això no és un pes en general barallo en. M'agradaria barallar amb ell de nou i tenir més temps per preparar-se.”
