It is a risk going to England, but I’m not scared,” Said Vargas. “I know that I’ll get booed when I go into the ring but I know when I win and step out of the ring they will applaud me. I am going to win this fight, even being in his backyard. He has that home advantage but I will win.

I know the judges could be an issue. Ni pato, a gym mate of mine, July Ceja, fought his brother and won, but they robbed him. The idea is to go for the knockout otherwise they could rob you.

It shows a bit of cowardice, not on him but on his team because they don’t want him to fight outside his country as they know he’ll lose. But I do trust that the WBC are fair and they will be neutral – ti o dara ju eniyan yoo win. I’d be very proud to take the WBC belt home.

Ni re kẹhin ija, McDonnell took an 8-round decision from Robin Zamora on September 10th ni London.
I have to pinch myself that it’s finally here,” wi McDonnell. “All the hard work I’ve put in over the years, it feels like it’s meant to be this moment.

I have seen my brother become World champion, I have seen my gym-mate Tony Bellew become World champion and I believe now I’m ready and to be let off the leash. I’m ready to become world champion. Two twin brothers on the scene, both World champions standing side by sidethe Klitschko brothers of Doncaster!

We were in the same boat me and my brother, fighting an unbeaten Mexican banger. Having home advantage is key and I’ve wanted that.

I like being written off, I love proving people wrong and this will be no different. I really want to make a name for myself, I’ve always felt like I’ve been in my brother’s shadow but I’m 18 fights unbeaten and I’m on the verge of a World title fight.

“Vargas’ record says that he’s big puncher but we won’t know how good he is until we get in there. How much does he want it? Not more than me. He will have to knock me out cold to win it as he can’t beat me.

This will be a terrific championship bout lojo satide. We look forward to kicking off a terrific string of title bouts for the great boxing fans in the United States,”said Chris Schickedanz, Managing Director of Klowdtv.

GUADALAJARA, MX (July 26, 2016) – Yi ti o ti kọja Saturday, newly crowned undefeated IBO super-bantamweight world champion, Moisés “Chucky” Ododo (25-0, 17 KOs), received his belt from co-manager Henry Rivalta of Pro Box Management. Last June, Flores scored an impressive unanimous decision victory over Paulus Ambunda (24-2, 10 KOs), in his home town of Windhoek, Namibia (Africa), to earn the world title strap.
Ododo, who is also the WBA interim champion, is now the mandatory challenger to face WBA super-champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-0, 11 KOs). After receiving his IBO world title belt, and a big fight looming with Rigondeaux, Flores speaks on his current situation.
Winning the IBO world championship is a testament to my hard work and the great team around me,” said Mexico’s Moises “Chucky” Ododo. “Together we worked really hard to get this world title. I’m now the mandatory to challenge Guillermo Rigondeaux, a fight I’m looking forward to. He’s very skilled but I feel I have all the tools to defeat him. My management team is working hard to get this fight finalized. It’s time to see who the best super-bantamweight is. I going to bring that world title home to Mexico.

VLADIMIR TIKHONOV MAKING PROGRESS UP THE RATINGS LADDER; RUSSIAN IS LUCKY NO. 13 IN WBA

Brooklyn, NY (June 15, 2016)– Russian Vladimir Tikhonov, a super bantamweight contender, is the latest signee to the Dmitriy Salita promotional slate. And it looks like the timing is right for the Brooklyner Salita, with word out that this Russian hitter is making his way up the ratings ladder.
Tikhonov (14-0 pẹlu 8 KOs) has entered the WBA world rankings at No. 13.

O si wa ni tan-pro ni 2008, has fought once outside Russia, and Salita is looking to get him some more passport stamps.

A left-hander, Tikhonov is methodical and busy. He is active with his feet and can sting with both hands. Opponents need to be wary of him slipping punches in from underneath. He is ultra calm in the ring, n ni, gets off and gets out.

Vladimir is a talented boxer who has lots of experience and potential to compete with the best in the world,” said the Brooklyn based promoter, who is putting together an Aug. 19 show in Rochester, NY to be headlined by Jarrell Miller. “Tikhonov is world ranked now and I will be looking to land a significant fight for him in the near future. He wants the toughest tests, like Guillermo Rigondeaux (the WBA super bantam champion; Moises Flores holds their interim title), Scott Quigg and Nonito Donaire. He is yet another Russian warrior, with fighting in his blood!”

Promoter Salita has climbed the mountain himself as a fighter, amassing a 35-2-1 mark as a professional within the welterweight class. Del Valle to meet Crespo April 9!

ODV.jpg

Bayamon, PR (April 1, 2016) – Super bantamweight contender Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle returns to the ring on Saturday, April 9 to face New England titlist Josh Crespo in an eight round bout at Rockingham Park in Salem, NH.

Tickets lati $35 are on sale by calling 860-982-2532 tabi 603-898-2311.

A blood and guts warrior who gives fans their monies worth every time he enters the squared circle, Del Valle has an outstanding 20-2 gba pẹlu 15 AamiEye nipa knockout. Ni Kọkànlá Oṣù 2015, the Bayamon native stopped 50-plus fight veteran Jose Juan Beltran after two rounds in Comerio, Puẹto Riko. Currently signed to an exclusive promotional contract with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports, Del Valle has his sights set on another big fight but first must conquer the task at hand.

Born and raised in New Haven, CT, Crespo is riding a wave of confidence having defeated Jorge Abiague (9-1) for the New England super bantamweight championship last November. Crespo’s professional ledger is a deceptive 6-2-3 pẹlu 2 KO’s but he’s unbeaten in his last five, facing two undefeated fighters in the process.

If victorious, Del Valle is expected to appear in a televised bout in the immediate future. While some potentially view this fight as a given for Del Valle prior to bigger and better things, the 29-year-old knows that records don’t tell the whole story and Crespo’s hunger can’t be overlooked.

“I’ve got big plans but that all goes out the window if I don’t do what I have to against Crespo,” Del Valle said from his training camp in Puerto Rico. “Anybody who really knows boxing understands that a record doesn’t determine how good a fighter is. I’ve seen Crespo before. He’s tough and willing to take on anybody which is evident by the fact that he’s facing me rather than a lesser opponent. I’m training like I’m the underdog since this fight is close to his hometown and I’ve got a lot on the line.”
