"The work has been put in by myself and my team,"Said Del Valle. “I’m focused and ready to fight. A win can change everything for me. De La Hoya is undefeated and people are discussing him as a future superstar. His team believes I’m the guy he’ll beat to get to the next level and that’s a major mistake. I’ve been down this road before and this was the best camp I ever had. Bi Eleyi Saturday night, everybody will see that Orlandito Del Valle is a serious player in the 122 iwon pipin!"

Del Valle thriving in camp; ready to Defeat De La Hoya

Bayamon, Puẹto Riko (Kẹsán 6, 2016) – In less than two weeks, IBF #8 ranked super bantamweight Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle enters the ring against unbeaten and highly regarded Diego De La Hoya.

The bout opens the Saul “Canelo” Alvarez –Liam Smith HBO pay-per-view telecast Saturday, Kẹsán 17 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX and is scheduled for ten rounds. Valley, who fought on HBO and Showtime on multiple occasions, considers this bout the most important of his career as he’s facing a foe that is in a position he himself was once in.

Vic had a ton of experience and was the better man that night. I learned a lot as a man, fighter and about preparation at the top level. Now I feel that I’m in the role Vic was against me when I face De La Hoya.”

To ensure he excels on the grandest stage of his career, Del Valle’s currently in a grueling training camp in his native Puerto Rico. With head trainer Emilo Lozada leading the way, Del Valle’s put in countless hours honing his craft. Against the 15-0 De La Hoya, in what most expect to be the kind of high octane fight that epitomizes the Puerto Rico vs Mexico rivalry, Del Valle added new strength and conditioning drills so he’s able to engage in a high octane battle without running out of gas.

“It’s no secret that I bring the fight to everybody that gets in the ring with me. Diego and his team are looking to prove that he’s the real deal and they expect an impressive Mexican-style performance from him. What that means is this has all the makings of a fast paced brawl where nobody wants to take a step backwards. In order to come out of the battle as the victor, you’ve got to be ready for war. After what I’ve been through physically, mentally and emotionally in my training, I’m more than ready. All of the hard work will pay off when I break Diego De La Hoya down Kẹsán 17!"

My experience will be a key for me in this fight. I can’t wait to put on a show for boxing fans all over the world!"

Bayamon, Puẹto Riko (July 20, 2016) – As a teenager, Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle left his native Puerto Rico for Newburgh, NY where he resided for seven years. The support was great and there is a very large Puerto Rican population in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. I’ve still got a lot of fans in the area and they always ask me when I’m fighting locally again. Due to some of the changes in my career, I wasn’t sure until this incredible opportunity came up. "I knew early in the first round that I was the stronger fighter and would be able to hurt him with my punches,” Del Valle said after improving his record to 21-2 pẹlu 16 KO ká. “I give him all the credit in the world for stepping up to fight me and having tremendous heart. I thought the referee was going to stop it because I’ve never seen a fighter get knocked down, stand up, fall again then get back up in less than ten seconds.”
Del Valle who scored his third consecutive stoppage since losing a controversial decision to Luis Rosa, is confident that he’ll land another bout against a top fighter in the very near future.
"I did what I had to do last night and it’s onto bigger and better things. Ni mi lokan, Darchinyan is the only fighter to defeat me and I’ve grown a lot since then. There are many great fighters at 122 pounds that I’d love to get in the ring with and I’m confident it will happen soon.”

Del Valle to meet Crespo April 9!

ODV.jpg

Bayamon, PR (April 1, 2016) – Super bantamweight contender Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle returns to the ring on Saturday, April 9 to face New England titlist Josh Crespo in an eight round bout at Rockingham Park in Salem, NH.

Tickets lati $35 are on sale by calling 860-982-2532 tabi 603-898-2311.

A blood and guts warrior who gives fans their monies worth every time he enters the squared circle, Del Valle has an outstanding 20-2 gba pẹlu 15 AamiEye nipa knockout. Ni Kọkànlá Oṣù 2015, the Bayamon native stopped 50-plus fight veteran Jose Juan Beltran after two rounds in Comerio, Puẹto Riko. Currently signed to an exclusive promotional contract with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports, Del Valle has his sights set on another big fight but first must conquer the task at hand.

Born and raised in New Haven, CT, Crespo is riding a wave of confidence having defeated Jorge Abiague (9-1) for the New England super bantamweight championship last November. Crespo’s professional ledger is a deceptive 6-2-3 pẹlu 2 KO’s but he’s unbeaten in his last five, facing two undefeated fighters in the process.

If victorious, Del Valle is expected to appear in a televised bout in the immediate future. While some potentially view this fight as a given for Del Valle prior to bigger and better things, the 29-year-old knows that records don’t tell the whole story and Crespo’s hunger can’t be overlooked.

“I’ve got big plans but that all goes out the window if I don’t do what I have to against Crespo,” Del Valle said from his training camp in Puerto Rico. “Anybody who really knows boxing understands that a record doesn’t determine how good a fighter is. I’ve seen Crespo before. He’s tough and willing to take on anybody which is evident by the fact that he’s facing me rather than a lesser opponent. I’m training like I’m the underdog since this fight is close to his hometown and I’ve got a lot on the line.”
