In the earliest parts of the Strikeforce career in MMA, we sent Gilbert Melendez and Josh Thomson (ua) to Pride against some of the Japanese fighters and they sent over (Shinya) Aoki, (Tatsuya) Kawajiri and some of the best fighters they had. Zu mir, this is what martial arts is all about. We should have more events like this where top guys from different leagues compete against each other to find out who the best is. Dating back to 2014, Walsh has accrued four victories over his past five contests, including a brutal knockout of Gaz Pilot at“BAMMA 21: DeVent vs. Kone.”Of his 14 Karriere gewinnt, nine have come by way of knockout or submission, making it easy to picture another explosive attack out of the gates by Walsh. The 36-year-old Tosta enters the bout riding a recent string of success that includes victories in seven of his last eight contests with one draw.
