Abdulaev vs. Kunchenko title clash & Divnich vs. Turnquest fight added to M-1 Challenge 65 card April 8 a St. Petersburg, Rússia
 ST. PETERSBURG, Rússia (Març 16, 2016) – M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Murad “Hunter” Abdulaev will make his first title defense, Abril 8 a M-1 Desafiament 65,against undefeated challenger Alexey Kunchenko at Ice Palace Sports Center in St. Petersburg, Rússia.
Abdulaev vs. Kunchenko replaces the rescheduled M-1 Challenge lightweight championship bout between defending champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui i el retador Artem Damkovsky due to injuries suffered by both fighters during training camp.
M-1 Global has also announced an M-1 Desafiament 65 match between former M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Maxim Divinich and M-1 Global debuting Robert Turnquest.
Ramadà Emeev (13-3-0, M-1: 7-1-0), reigning M-1 Challenge middleweight champion, takes on Brazilian challenger Maiquel “Big Rig” Falcao (35-8-0, M-1: 0-0-0) in the M-1 Challenge 65 esdeveniment principal. Emeev vs. Falcao is an M-1 Grand Prix middleweight semifinals match with the winner advancing to the final later this year against the other M-1 Grand Prix middleweight semifinals winner, former three-time Bellator champion Alejandro “Tempesta” Shlemenko (52-9-0, M-1: 3-0-0).
 Abdulaev (13-1-0, M-1: 4-1-0) captured the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title last June at M-1 Desafiament 58, taking a five-round decision from Marcelo Brito. A powerful striker always with knockout intentions, Abdulaev (shown above in action) has been out of action since then due to a variety of reasons.

Turnquest (pictured to right) is the Atlas Fights welterweight champion who has a strong Judo background. M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephan Puetz & Llegeix Morrison

ST. PETERSBURG, Rússia (Gener 27, 2016) – President de M-1 Global Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championJoan “Aquest és el” Buchinger, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephan “T-800” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Sotavent “Buldog americà” Morrison.
“We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.”
 Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov a M-1 Desafiament 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui a M-1 Desafiament 62.  Puetz (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, prendre una decisió deViktor Nemkov a M-1 Desafiament 46. A native of Ukraine fighting out of St. Petersburg, Vitruk (12-2-0, M-1: 6-2-0) is coming off back-to-back losses to American Llegeix Morrison by decision at M-1 Desafiament 55 i Max Coga by third-round decision at M-1 Desafiament 58. Representing the famed Alexander Nevsky Club in St. Petersburg, Vitruk has a strong Muay Thai foundation. After fighting exclusively as a featherweight, Vitruk has decided to drop down one weight class and compete as a bantamweight.

Three World Champions Capture top honors in 2015 Russian MMA Super Cup
 Living legend and WMMAA Honorary President Fedor Emelianenko served as color commentator for the broadcast of the recent 2015 Russian MMA Super Cup
