Undefeated M-1 Challenge Welterweight Champion Alexey Kuchenko decisions Murad Abdulaev in rematch

MOSCOW (Novembre 19, 2016) – En la seva primera defensa del títol, M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Alexey Kuchenko(15-0-0, M-1: 7-0-0) won a five-round decision over challenger Murad “Hunter” Abdulaev (15-5-0, M-1: 3-3-0) last night in a rematch to headline M-1 Desafiament 72 in Mowcow.
Kunchenko, fighting out of Tyumen, Rússia, defeated defending champion Abdulaev, de Rússia, passat mes d'abril a M-1 Desafiament 65 when he was unable to continue in round four.

PETERSBURG, Rússia (Novembre 3, 2016) – The M-1 Challenge 72 main card is set with the recent announcement of four interesting bouts, headlined by M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Alexey Kunchenko‘s title defense against former title-holder Murad “Hunter” Abduleav, Novembre 18 a Moscou, Rússia.

In addition to the rematch between Kunchenko (14-0-0, M-1: 6-0-0) and Abdulaev (15-4-0, M-1: 3-1-0), the lightweight fight between former champion Artiom Damkovsky i Alexey “Assignació” Makhno had already been announced by M-1 Global.
Undefeated Russian middleweight Artem Frolov (7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0), a strong striker and Combat Sambo master, faces American opponent Luigi “El tanc italià” Fiorvanti (26-14-0, M-1: 4-3-0) battle with future title fight implications on the line for the winner.
Frolov is coming off a three-round unanimous decision over Rafael Xavier a M-1 Desafiament 70, while Fiorvanti is considered a good all-around fighter who is a former M-1 Challenge middleweight title challenger.
In a featherweight bout, fully recovered Kurbaneli Abdusalamor (6-2-0, M-1: 4-0-0) faces fellow Russian Timur Nagibin (7-2-0, M-1: 3-1-0). Abdusalamov has won four fights in a row, including his last 13 months ago against American Llegeix Morrison, which ended in a 3-round majority decision for the Russian fighter before he was sidelined with injuries.
Lleuger Damir Ismagulov (8-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), a native of Kazakhstan fighting out of Russia, meets Brazilian Rubenilton “Rubinho” Pera (16-3-0, M-1: 0-1-0). Also announced was a lightweight battle between former champion Artiom Damkovsky i Alexey “Assignació” Makhno.
Kunchenko (14-0-0, M-1: 6-0-0), fighting out of Tyumen, Rússia, will be making his first title defense. He defeated defending champion Abdulaev, who was unable to continue in round four of their fight this past April at M-1 Desafiament 65.
Abdulaev (15-4-0, M-1: 3-2-0), fighting out of Anapa, Rússia, originally captured the M-1 Challenge welterweight title at M-1 Desafiament 58, prendre una decisió de Marcello Britode juny 6, 2015 for the vacant title.

A native of Ukraine fighting out of St. Petersburg, Vitruk (12-2-0, M-1: 6-2-0) is coming off back-to-back losses to American Llegeix Morrison by decision at M-1 Desafiament 55 i Max Coga by third-round decision at M-1 Desafiament 58. Representing the famed Alexander Nevsky Club in St. Petersburg, Vitruk has a strong Muay Thai foundation. After fighting exclusively as a featherweight, Vitruk has decided to drop down one weight class and compete as a bantamweight.

The 26-year-old Morozov (4-0-0, M-1: 2-0-0) is coming off a pair of impressive second-round stoppages via punches over Andy Young en M-1 Desafiament 59 i Rijitigala Amua M-1 Desafiament 53. The Kazakh is a hot bantamweight prospect who is equally comfortable on his feet or on the ground.

Barnaoui (12-3-0, M-1: 2-2-0), lluitant fora de París, will be making his first title defense against a dangerous challenger. After defeating previously undefeated Maxim Divnich(10-0-0) (see picture below) by way of a first-round stoppage via punches, Maig 2, 2015 aM-1 Desafiament 57, Barnaoui dropped down in weight and he unsuccessfully challenged M-1 Challenge featherweight champion Ivan Buchinger this past October by five-round decision at M-1 Desafiament 57.
Belarus-native Damkovsky (20-9-0, M-1: 10-6-0), shown below on mat, is riding a four-fight win streak to become the top contender going into his title fight showdown with Barnaoui.
