Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 quilograms) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M-1 Desafiament 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 Desafiament 66 (pictured below).
Rettinghouse, la King of the Cage campió, adquireix Sergey Morozov (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 Desafiament 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-1 Desafiament 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
En M-1 Desafiament 59, Morozov (pictured below) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.
An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

PETERSBURG, Rússia (Novembre 3, 2016) – The M-1 Challenge 72 main card is set with the recent announcement of four interesting bouts, headlined by M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Alexey Kunchenko‘s title defense against former title-holder Murad “Hunter” Abduleav, Novembre 18 a Moscou, Rússia.

In addition to the rematch between Kunchenko (14-0-0, M-1: 6-0-0) and Abdulaev (15-4-0, M-1: 3-1-0), the lightweight fight between former champion Artiom Damkovsky i Alexey “Assignació” Makhno had already been announced by M-1 Global.
Undefeated Russian middleweight Artem Frolov (7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0), a strong striker and Combat Sambo master, faces American opponent Luigi “El tanc italià” Fiorvanti (26-14-0, M-1: 4-3-0) battle with future title fight implications on the line for the winner.
Frolov is coming off a three-round unanimous decision over Rafael Xavier a M-1 Desafiament 70, while Fiorvanti is considered a good all-around fighter who is a former M-1 Challenge middleweight title challenger.
In a featherweight bout, fully recovered Kurbaneli Abdusalamor (6-2-0, M-1: 4-0-0) faces fellow Russian Timur Nagibin (7-2-0, M-1: 3-1-0). Abdusalamov has won four fights in a row, including his last 13 months ago against American Llegeix Morrison, which ended in a 3-round majority decision for the Russian fighter before he was sidelined with injuries.
Lleuger Damir Ismagulov (8-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), a native of Kazakhstan fighting out of Russia, meets Brazilian Rubenilton “Rubinho” Pera (16-3-0, M-1: 0-1-0). Buchinger (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), lluitant fora d'Eslovàquia, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Desafiament 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor a 2012. He captured the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 a M-1 Desafiament 52, parada Tural Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches in their Fight of the Night. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-1 Desafiament 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. Ingúixia, Rússia (Octubre 22, 2016) – Former two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Viktor Nemkov put himself in position for another title shot and Pavel Vitruk became the first M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Champion at last night’s entertaining M-1 Desafiament 71 a Ingúixia, Rússia.
Kazakhstan-nativa Nemkov (24-6-0, M-1: 17-5-0), fighting out of Stary Oskol, Rússia, won a three-round unanimous decision from former Bellator champion Attila “Pumukli” Vegh(29-8-2, M-1: 0-2-0), of Slovakia, en l'esdeveniment principal.

Also announced was a lightweight battle between former champion Artiom Damkovsky i Alexey “Assignació” Makhno.
Kunchenko (14-0-0, M-1: 6-0-0), fighting out of Tyumen, Rússia, will be making his first title defense. He defeated defending champion Abdulaev, who was unable to continue in round four of their fight this past April at M-1 Desafiament 65.
Abdulaev (15-4-0, M-1: 3-2-0), fighting out of Anapa, Rússia, originally captured the M-1 Challenge welterweight title at M-1 Desafiament 58, prendre una decisió de Marcello Britode juny 6, 2015 for the vacant title.

“The fight between Ramazan Emeev and Anatoly Tokov is the most anticipated fight in Russian MMA, “President de M-1 Global Vadim Finkelchtein dit. “Both Tokov and Emeev are fighters of the elite level, not only in Russia, but in the world. The 29-year-old Emeev, fighting out of Makhachkala, Rússia, first captured the vacant M-1 Challenge middleweight title in 2012, taking a 5-round unanimous decision from Mario Miranda a M-1 Desafiament 35, and he successfully won the rematch five months later aM-1 Desafiament 38, stopping Miranda via strikes in the third round.
En 2014, Emeev lost his title belt to Vyacheslav Vasilevsky by way of a fourth-round knockout (cops) a M-1 Desafiament 51 a 2014. The resilient Emeev, però, bounced back to regain his throne as M-1 Challenge middleweight champion, using a choke hold to submit Vasilevsky in the opening round at
M-1 Desafiament 56.

A native of Kazakhstan fighting out of famed Stary Oskol, Rússia, Nevkov (23-6-0, M-1: 16-5-0) is a former two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion.
