“KO NIGHT BOXING” RESULTS FROM KANSAS
PALM CITY, Kansas (Září 24, 2017) – The name of last night’s “KO Night Box: Step Up” event certainly was appropriate as 2016 Olympic bronze medalist Nico Hernandez had to overcome a major obstacle to remain undefeated at Hartman Arena in Palm City, Kansas.
“KO Night Box: Step Up!” was a presentation of KO Night Boxing LLC., in association with Roc Nation Sports and Hartman Arena, sponsored by Mort’s Cigar Bar, Jimmy Egg and Twister City Harley-Davidson. The action was taped live for future airing on CBS Sports Network.
St. Louis southpaw Kendrick “Uprising” Latchman outweighed regular flyweight Hernandez by more than 10 pounds when the two fighters entered the ring because Hernandez’ scheduled opponent, Basyzbek Baratov (2-1-2), abruptly pulled out of the fight after the weigh in due to a contractual disagreement. Hernandez weighed in at 113 liber, Baratov was 112, which was the contracted weight. The Kansas Athletic Commission, nicméně, automatically allows one-pound over for all non-title fights. Baratov refused to fight but Latchman agreed to fight at a 125-pound catchweight. Hernandez gained four pounds and the fight was on.

Travis Kauffman se vrací s 1. kolo zničením přes Carmack

Čtení, PA (Srpen 18, 2015)–Minulý pátek večer v Prudential Center inNewark, New Jersey, Heavyweight uchazeč Travis Kauffman (29-1, 21 KO) scored a first round stoppage over Richard Carmack in Kauffman’s first fight in 19 měsíce.

Kauffman přistál perfektní pravý hák od southpaw postoj, který poslal Carmackovi dolů 2:07.

Zápas se konal na kartu, která byla hlavní hvězdou boji mezi bývalí mistři světa Antonio Tarver a Steve Cunningham, který skončil remízou.

“Nemyslím si, že by se Carmack udeřil tak silně, jak to udělal. I went out there with the mindset of going some rounds to work off ring rust. Heavyweight Travis Kauffman návratu po 19-měsíční pauze v pátek večer proti Richard Carmack v Newarku, New Jersey

Čtení, PA (Srpen 11, 2015)–Tento pátek večer v Prudential Center v Newarku, New Jersey, Heavyweight uchazeč Travis Kauffman (28-1, 20 KO) bude zpět v akci poprvé v 19 měsíců, když si bere na Richarda Carmack v záchvatu naplánováno na 8.-kol.

Zápas se bude konat na kartu, která je hlavní hvězdou bývalých mistrů světa Antonio Tarver a Steve Cunningham.

Karta bude vysílán prostřednictvím Spike TV, ačkoli Kauffman je záchvat není naplánováno, aby se vzduch od tohoto času.

Kauffman of Reading, PA byl mimo hru kvůli operaci kolena opravit roztrhaný předního zkříženého vazu (ACL).

Kauffman byl rehabbing velmi těžké pro lepší část 2015 jak začal svou cestu v Houstonu, Texas a pokračoval ve svém boxu školení v oblasti čtení a Philadelphii.

“Z toho, co jsem viděl na Carmack, on může bojovat. Nenechte se oklamat jeho vzhled. On může bojovat. Pracoval jsem opravdu tvrdě a tohle je moje první plná tréninkový kemp s Naazim Richardsona a můj otec Marshall Kauffman. Naazim je nejlepší, pokud jde o poškodí soupeře, takže vím, že bude plně připraven pro Carmack.”

Před zranění, Kauffman byl zařadil do top-pět z WBA a on věří, že to nebude trvat dlouho, než se zvedne zpět do té vznešené postavení.
