Auberge à Philadelphie, King’s Promotions presents a great night of championship boxing that will headlined by 10-round UBF Lightweight championship bout between Frankie De Alba (15-1-2, 5 KO) et Bernardo Gomez Uribe (14-3, 10 KO).

In one of the 8-round co-features, Steve Chambers Upsher (24-4-1, 6 KO) returns to the city where he cut his teeth as a professional to take on Alejandro Rodriguez (24-16-1, 14 KO) dans un Jr. Combat welters.

Chambers, who came originally to Philadelphia with former Heavyweight title challenger, “Vite” Eddie Chambers, combattu 23 times and the famed Blue Horizon in Philadelphia and will be making his first start in the City of Brotherly Love in almost 6 ans.

“I have been training hard and working on opening my new gym with (léger contender) Rod Salka,” said Upsher.

“I am on weight already and I feel good. We will be fighting at 142 livres.”

Upsher is ready to show the fans how far his abilities have grown since he turned pro in Philadelphia in 2003 quand il était juste 18 ans.

“I am happy to be coming back to Philadelphia. I want to show people how far I have come and see the improvement that I have made as a fighter.”

Despite losing his three bouts to the likes of former world champions Luis Collazo and Andre Berto as well as then-undefeated prospect Eddie Gomez, Upsher was competitive in all those bouts and grew tremendously from those experiences.

“It showed that I can compete against that level of fighter. Plus everyone of those guys was bigger than me. Je suis un naturel 140 pounder and can make 135 if the right opportunity presented itself.”

Chambers went back to his native Pittsburgh to train in neighboring city Coal Center, Pennsylvanie.

“My mind is set on winning a world title at 140 livres. After the three losses, I cant afford any missteps. People see about the losses. I know I have the ability to be a world champion and on Mai 29 that will start to show.”

On the veteran opponent, Rodriguez, Upsher said, “I know he is tough and from Mexico. I will look at a little film before the fight and go from there. I really don’t worry about what he will do. He should worry about me. This fight is redemption for me. It’s a start and then I would like to right all of the losses. But first I am looking for a dominant performance vendredi then I want to end all doubts.”

An outstanding undercard has been assembled.

In one of the anticipated undercard bouts, invaincu léger Ange Ocasio (7-0-2, 2 KO) will take on tough veteran Justin Johnson dans un combat prévu pour six rounds.

It was just over two years ago when Ocasio, considered a rising prospect in Philadelphia, was last in the ring as he stopped Esteban Rodriguez in two rounds on December 8, 2012.

“I took the time off and found the lord and got married,”dit le 25 year-old Ocasio.

“It was a much needed time off. I helped me realize that there are more important things then to just be a boxer. I know there that there other things as boxing is just temporarily. If boxing wasn’t here, I would still be the same guy. ”

Ocasio knows that he has a talent in the ring and after that hiatus, he didn’t find much problem getting back into the swing of things.

“The training aspect was not that difficult. I am good with weight and the running was good. I guess the only thing that needed time was my timing. But i got in great work with (invaincu léger) Milton Santiago Jr. and it came back nicely.”

Ocasio didn’t pick an easy customer for his comeback opponent in Johnson. Johnson’s record reads just 6-7-4 but he has wins over four undefeated prospects plus respect Philly fighter Hasan Young.

“Justin is tough. He defeated four undefeated fighters and I am sure he prepares well. Just by fighting a guy with that kind of record does not win fights. He is an experienced fighter so I know it will be a good fight.”

“I look to be very active for the rest of the year. I am looking for five total fights in 2015. Maybe two more six-round bouts and my goal is to be fighting eight round fights by the end of the year. I think I am about eight fights away from being one of those television fights that will get me to the top level.”

The well-spoken Ocasio is emphatic that despite his time away, he will soon be a big name in the sport.

Davis de Wilmington, Delaware will be making his second start of 2015 as he is coming off six-round unanimous decision over Jonathan Garcia on Janvier 31 à Philadelphie.

“Training has gone real well. I have been doing a lot of roadwork and I feel good,” said the 20-year old Davis.

In Garcia, he is facing a tested fighter who has been in the ring with eleven undefeated fighters including Michael Anderson. Jermell Charlo, Charles Hatley, Lanard Lane, Jonel Tapia, Yordenis Ugas, Glen Tapia, Daniel Rosario and in his last bout when he was stopped in five rounds

“I don’t know too much about him other than he has about 20 fights and he is six-feet tall.”

After a great amateur career, Davis is continuing to learn and grow into the professional ranks.

“I have been learning patience, timing and ring generalship. I am getting comfortable without using the headgear and fighting with the smaller gloves and creating my identity as a fighter.”

This will be the second consecutive fight in the Philadelphia area for Davis as Harrahs Philadelphia is just up I-95 from Davis’ Wilmington home.

“I like that everyone can come see me fight. Other than that I just go about my business and prepare like any other fight.”

Davis believes that he will be ready for bigger stages in the next year.

“We are progressing. We are hoping for a television spot later in the year. I just want everyone to come out and support us Samedi. I will shut it down like I always do and put on a great show.”

Said Davis’ adviser Stephen Edwards, “Kyrone is progressing great. He has has 20 round of professional experience and he has not lost any of them, He is right on schedule and is getting used to the professional ranks.”

This being his 14th pro fight, Douglas is now rounding into a situation where he knows what he has to do to continue to get better.

“I have been very responsible with my defense. I always knew I had a pro style. It was my late trainer Lewis Lum who told me I was better suited to become a professional world champion than an Olympic gold medal winner.”

Douglas sees himself continuing to grow and fighting on more high profile platforms as the year progresses.

“I see myself on bigger cards. I am with Al Haymon so to fight on a PBC card is a goal for the year. By the end of the year, I should be considered a hot prospect and I should get in three or four more fights that should put my name out more.”

Douglas finished by saying, “Sur Avril 25, expect a show. I will be smart and put everything together. I train for every opponent like they are the best. Once it all comes together it will be lights out!!”

Philadelphie, Pennsylvanie (Février 2, 2015)–Ses fans sont venus de centaines et même des milliers de miles de là. Invaincu Jr. Middleweight Colon Prichard fait leur voyage un heureux comme il martelé une décision 6-unanime sur Hector Munoz robuste pour mettre en évidence une carte 8-combat à la 2300 Arena à Philadelphie.

Le spectacle a été promu par les Promotions et XFE King.

Colon avait l'air d'en faire une courte nuit comme il a débarqué un énorme uppercut qui a envoyé Munoz à la toile dans le premier tour qui a porté le 2300 Arena à un bruit assourdissant. Colon a continué à forer Munoz avec une puissance coup après coup le pouvoir qui a attiré le sang sur l'œil gauche de Munoz dès la troisième manche. Colon a continué à montrer le mouvement fluide lors de son atterrissage coups durs sur le jeu Munoz qui ont combattu les derniers tours avec cette fermeture de l'œil gauche. Le sang coulait sur le visage de Munoz, qui a été le résultat de la performance de maître de Colon.

Colon de Puerto Rico remporté par marqué de 60-53 deux fois et 60-51 et est maintenant 13-0. Munoz d'Albuquerque, NM est maintenant 23-14-1.

Grayson Blake combattu par quelque adversité pour remporter une décision 6-unanime sur Anthony Prescott dans un combat welters.

Blake a été gravement blessé dans le deuxième tour par une grosse main droite mais a réussi à tenir le coup et endiguer la marée. Blake a commencé à prendre le contrôle du combat et il se est blessé au tour de cinq Prescott avec une droite dure de sa propre.

Kyrone Davis pilonné une décision unanime 6 rondes sur Jonathan Garcia dans un combat de poids moyen divertissant.

Davis de Wilmington, DE remporté par des dizaines de 60-54 sur toutes les cartes et est maintenant 6-0. Garcia de Aguada, PR est 4-12.

Rayell Williams surmonté un effet de choc de 4e ronde pour remporter une décision unanime ronde au-dessus 6 Ryan Picou dans un combat léger.

Williams a obtenu le meilleur de l'action mais a été rattrapé avec une main droite qui l'a trébuché de retour sur la toile. Il a été en mesure de récupérer et de boîte de son chemin à la décision unanime par les scores de 59-55 deux fois et 58-55.

Jamontay Clark en boîte son chemin à une décision 4-unanime sur Dominique Foster dans un combat welters.

Clark ensanglanté le nez de Foster dans le deuxième tour et a remporté par des marges de blanchissage 40-36 sur toutes les cartes.

Clark de Cincinnati, OH est 4-0. Foster of of Las Vegas is 2-7-1.

Dans le combat d'ouverture, Antonio Russell marqué un 2e arrêt effrayant et méchants ronde sur Harold Reyes dans un quatre-ronde coq combat prévu.

Russell a atterri une belle combinaison dans le coin qui a été culminé par une main droite en plein essor qui a envoyé Reyes vers le bas et pendant plusieurs minutes.

Reyes avait à avoir un peu d'oxygène appliqué mais il était capable de marcher hors du ring par ses propres moyens.

Le moment de l'arrêt était 2:10 de la deuxième ronde pour Russell de Capitol Heights, MD qui a fait ses débuts pro. Reyes of Puerto Rico is 1-2.

Philadelphie, Pennsylvanie (Janvier 27 2015)–Ce samedi nuit au 2300 Arène, invaincu poids moyen Kyrone Davis prendra le vétéran Jonathan Garcia dans un combat de six rondes sur un spectacle promu par Promotions roi.

Le principal événement verra invaincu Colon Prichard (12-0, 10 KO) des Orocovis, Puerto Rico prenant Hector Munoz (23-13-1, 15 KO) d'Albuquerque, Nouveau-Mexique dans le 8-ronde Jr. lutte Middleweight.

Davis sur Wilmington, Delaware a un dossier de 5-0 avec trois coups de grâce et l'ancien amateur standout est excité à propos de son combat ce samedi.

“Formation se est bien passé. I know that Garcia is a durable guy who has fought good competition. My goal Samedi est de mettre sur une bonne, performance propre. Not to get hit and give everyone a good show for my first fight in Philly,”dit le 20 ans Davis.

Davis était 91-9 en tant qu'amateur, qui a remporté deux tournois nationaux PAL et a participé à des essais olympiques se réjouit de ses débuts locale.

This is the longest camp we have had as I was supposed to fight in December and went that did not happen, nous sommes restés formation. I am in the best shape. This is my first six round fight but we prepared to go even longer so it wont be a problem. I expect to perform at the next level.

Philadelphie, Pennsylvanie (Janvier 26, 2015)–Ce samedi nuit au 2300 Arène, invaincu super-coq Stephen “Scooter” Fulton cherchera à rester parfaite quand il prend Eric Gotay dans un combat de quatre-ronde sur un spectacle promu par Promotions roi.

Le principal événement verra invaincu Colon Prichard (12-0, 10 KO) des Orocovis, Puerto Rico prenant Hector Munoz (23-13-1, 15 KO) d'Albuquerque, Nouveau-Mexique dans le 8-ronde Jr. lutte Middleweight.

Fulton de Philadelphie a un dossier de 3-0 avec 1 KO et il a eu un bon camp alors qu'il se prépare pour sa 2e participation consécutive de ville natale.

“Tout a été super. Je travaille sur une force et de conditionnement. Je reçois beaucoup travail pad et mes formateurs ont été me poussais très fort. Nous sommes à la recherche pour lutter contre 6-tours, mais je me prépare pour plus,”dit le 20 ans Fulton.

Fulton a essayé connaître Gotay mais n'a trouvé que très peu d'informations sur son adversaire.

“La seule chose que je sais vraiment de lui, ce est qu'il a de longs bras et il aime à jab.”

Fulton, qui a fait ses débuts à Philadelphie avec une décision unanime 4-ronde sur Benjamin Burgos Décembre 5 profiter de sa ville natale, mais il préfère se battre hors de la ville.

“Je aime la lutte contre loin d'ici. Il est le foyer de combat plus de pression, mais je suis très concentré.”

Cette pression est rien à nouveau pour Fulton que l'amateur décorée était un Gloves champion national Argent, un champion Ringside et ont participé à la Série mondiale de la boxe où il est allé 2-1.

Fulton a été saluée par certains comme une future star de la boxe et il veut faire appel aux fans.

“Je veux me assurer que les gens remarquent moi et profiter de mon style de combat. Beaucoup de gens me remarquer ici la fin de l'année et nous espérons que je peux obtenir un peu de temps de télévision. Take a good look à moi et voir où je suis, parce que je quelques années, Je serai un champion du monde.
