Bethlehem, Pennsylvanie (Novembre 17, 2017) – Frank De Alba is ready to close out 2017 with a bang when he takes on Ivan Najera (17-3, 8 KOs) in the ten-round super featherwight bout Tuesday night. 21 novembre à The Sands Bethlehem Event Center enBethlehem, Pennsylvanie.

A win over Najera and a 6th straight win will De Alba should facilitate big opportunities for De Alba in 2018.
“A win over him will have me on top and on my way. It will set me up for a big opportunity in 2018. Hopefully a win will get me a shot at one of those major regional titles and then eventually a world title. I just hope everyone comes out and support this show mardi. Everyone knows when a Puerto Rican fighter and a Mexican fighter get together, the fight usually produces fireworks and Tuesday night should be no different.”

On Bobby Gunn as an opponent:
“The thing I stand for and respect and represent – I love a person who won’t quit, et [Bobby Gunn] won’t quit for nothing. Islam (22-0, 18 KO) has been training in his adopted home of Pahoke, Florida by way of Kazakhstan, is ready for whatever Assis will bring to the ring.

But before any of that can happen, Islam must 1st get past Assis on a card headlined by the legendary Roy Jones, Jr. This is an opportunity, that Islam isn’t taking lightly.
“Roy Jones, Jr. is a legend, and a big name in boxing. In the past and still today he is big. It is an honor to fight on a card that he is in the main event.”
Back home in Kazakhstan, Islam is getting close to legendary status himself, as onOctober 29th, he defeated Patrick Allotey in front of 18,000 fans in his homeland to capture the WBO Inter-Continental title and retain his WBA Fedlatin Super Welterweight titles.
“Fighting in front of my home people means more to me than anything. It shows them that I represent their culture and they like to see my fighting style. It was a dream come true to fight in front of so many of my people. They were cheering my name, and for that I am thankful for them.”

Gunn of Hackensack, New Jersey has been preparing for this fight, and is ready for the biggest fight of his career. “
I am fighting an all-time great, and styles make fights. It will be a hell of a fight,” said Gunn.
Gunn wanted to raise the stakes for the fight, but he doesn’t think that Jones has the confidence that he will come out victorious.
“I laid it out to him for a winner-take-all bout. I am a puncher, so I know I will win this fight.”
This will be Gunn’s 1st bout en 38 mois, but the Bare-Knuckle Legend has been active fighting on the Bare-Knuckle circuit, and has a perfect record of 72-0 avec 72 KO dans ces combats.
“People can look, and think that I haven’t been active, but a fight is a fight and I have been fighting the Bare-Knuckle fights. Fighting is Fighting. The only difference in those fights is that the gloves protect the hands. Despite what it says on my boxing record, I have always been active. But the time out of the ring plus being against Roy Jones, Jr, the fans will see a different Bobby Gunn.”
Gunn, usually a mild-mannered fighter, has also been motivated by some “Trash-Talk”from Jones.
“He said that I don’t deserve to be in the same ring as him. I was already motivated for this, and he will find out otherwise on 17 février. Islam of Kazakhstan, who now calls Pahokee, Florida home has a record of 22-0 avec 18 knockouts and is currently ranked number-4 by the WBA, number-5 by the WBO and number-15 by the IBF.

“Ce fut un combat très compétitif. Je pense que je débarquai coups de poing plus. Il était plus agressif, mais j'atterrissais plus.
“Ceci est la boxe. Je viens juste ici pour faire un spectacle pour les grands fans. Je pensais que je gagné le combat. Je savais que je l'ai battu à l'intérieur.”

“Ce était un grand combat, il était un adversaire coriace qui était très agile et mobile. Je devais être patient et il était super pour obtenir ces tours. Je viens de la division des 147 livres.
“Je suis vraiment en train de le briser lentement. Il était mobile, mais je ne l'ai pas attendre à être si rapide.
“Je lui faisait mal à chaque fois que je l'ai frappé et je l'ai finalement suis sorti de là.”

“Les coups à l'arrière de la tête étaient le problème. Je voulais l'arbitre de faire quelque chose à ce sujet, mais c'est ce qui me font mal. Je ne ai jamais remis de ce.
“Je me sentais comme si je lui était frustrant et le hors boxe. Mais je jamais remis de ce coup.”

“Ce était un bon combat. Il est un bon boxeur, mais je devais le garder rugueux. Il a une bonne expérience qui a débuté en, mais ma volonté, mon coeur et ma formation trop coups de pied.
“Ma perte est ce qui m'a motivé pour cette performance. Pas plus de revers, seulement obtenir le dos.”
LEO HALL
“J'ai essayé de travail, Nous travaillions là-bas. Je ne fus pas surpris par quoi que ce soit. Ce était un bon combat.
