MOSKVA (Februar 23, 2018) – M-1 Challenge champions Damir Ismagulovog Movsar Evloev both successfully defended their titles last night på M-1 Challenge 88 at Olympic Stadium on Moscow.

M-1 Challenge lette mester Damir Ismaguluv (14-2-0, M-1: 8-1-0), the Kazakhstan native fighting out of Russia, defends his title against Georgian challenger Raul Tutarauli (18-3-0, M-1: 6-1-0) i hovedturneringen.

The 26-year-old Ismagulov is riding a nine-fight win streak, dating back more than 2 ½ år, including a third-round knockout of Tutarauli on May 27, 2016 i M-en utfordring 66 Fight of the Night. Ismagulov also won the M-en utfordring 72 Fight of the Year, by way of a third-round unanimous decision on November 18, 2016.

Tutaraul den, 25, has reeled off eight victories in a row since he lost to Ismagulov, including decisions wins last year over Artur Lemos ved M-en utfordring 77 og Vladimir Kanunnikov ved M-en utfordring 83.

Evloev has been unbeatable since his M-1 Global and professional debut on November 25, 2014, when the gifted Russian choked Jianwei Ha into a second-round submission på M-1 Challenge 53. ST. PETERSBURG, Russland (August 22, 2017) – M-1 Global will promote the first international mixed-martial-arts event in Republic of Tatarstan history, September 23, as Kazan, Russia hosts M-en utfordring 83: Tatfight 5.

The main event of the evening will be a light heavyweight bout between American invader Brandon “Bull” Halsey (9-3-0, M-1: 0-1-0), the two-time Bellator champion, og Mikhail Ragozin (8-2-0, M-1: 3-0-0), a National Pankration champion of Russia who is also a pupil of legendary Russian MMA fighter Alexander Shlemenko.

SOCHI, Russland (Mai 21, 2017) – Two-time M-1 Challenge Light Heavyweight Champion Viktor Nemkov has positioned himself for another title shot, defeating Brazilian challenger Ronny Markes, last Friday night in the M-1 Challenger 77 main event at Sochi, Russland.

Eleven exciting fights were held with athletes representing 10 different countries in true International competition: Russland, Brasil, USA, Spania, Portugal, Tyskland, Hviterussland, Ukraina, Georgia, and Azerbajjan.

Nemkov (25-6-0, M-1: 18-5-0), bekjempelse av Russland, took care of Markes (16-4-0, M-1: 0-1-0) early, by submission in the opening round by way of a guillotine choke. “I waited for the right moment,” Nemkov said after the fight, “concentrating on the guillotine-choke to finish the fight.”

A native of Kazakhstan fighting out of Russia, Nemkov (24-6-0, M-1: 17-5-0) has once again fought his way back to the top of the M-1 light heavyweight class. In his first title defense of his second reign, Nemkov lost his title via a five-round split decision to Rashid Yusupov (8-0), a year ago at M-en utfordring 68. The resilient Nemkov will position himself for yet another title shot with an impressive victory against Markes.

Markes (16-4-0, M-1: 0-0-0), Brasil, will be making his M-1 Global debut against Nemkov. In his last fight this past February, Markes choked out 15-4-0 Tony Lopez in the opening round of their King of the Cage super heavyweight championship match. Markes is a UFC and World Series of Fighting veteran
