Filadelfia, Pensilvania (Abril 10, 2018) – Este pasado Viernes noche, súper mediano Brandon Robinson ganó su décima pelea recta ya que ganó una decisión unánime de ocho asaltos sobre Oscar Riojas en la pelea titular de una tarjeta de siete pelea en el 2300 Arena en Filadelfia.
El espectáculo fue promovido por Promociones del Rey.
Robinson dejó caer Riojas con una mano izquierda en la primera ronda, y nunca fue desafiado contra los veteranos Riojas torpes.
Robinson, 167.3 libras de Filadelfia, PA ganó con las puntuaciones 80-71 dos veces, y 79-72 aumentando su marca a 10-1. Riojas, 168.8 lbs de Monterrey, México es 16-9-1.
En una batalla de invictos peso supergallo Raeese Aleem fue impresionante en ganar una decisión unánime de ocho asaltos sobre Marcus Bates.
Aleem anotó una caída en el marco de la apertura de una mano izquierda. Aleem continuó empujando la acción tomando la iniciativa, mientras Bates trató de contador, pero fue la Aleem perforación eficaz. Aleem ganó con las puntuaciones 80-71 & 79-72 dos veces.

Supermediano Ronald Ellis ganó una decisión unánime en seis asaltos sobre Taneal Goyco, mientras Joey Alday, Jr. mantuvo intacto su récord de nocaut perfecto al detener a Michael Crain en el tercer asalto de su pelea de peso mediano junior.

Hawkins usó su longitud para elegir y conectar tiros en el interior. Hawkins corrió hacia el liderato temprano, pero el veterano Serrano se puso en marcha en las rondas intermedias, ya que usó su experiencia para regresar a la pelea al ganar scrums en el interior y una derecha larga ocasional.. Undefeated Super Middleweight Ronald Ellis Takes On Taneal Goyco This Friday Night At The Fillmore In Philadelphia

Nutley, Nueva Jersey (Marzo 28, 2018)–Undefeated super middleweight contender Ronald Ellis returns to action for the 1st time since his controversial draw with Junior Younan when he takes on upset specialist Taneal Goyco este Viernes noche en El Fillmore en Filadelfia.

Raymond Serrano looks to continue career upswing against Malik Hawkins This Friday night in Philadelphia

Filadelfia, Pensilvania (Marzo 27, 2018) – Este viernes noche, contendiente de peso welter, Raymond “Tito” Serrano will look for his 4th consecutive victory when he takes on undefeated prospect Malik Hawkins in the 10-round main event at The Fillmore in Serrano’s hometown of Philadelphia.
Serrano whose winning streak has coincided with his changing of training venues to Los Angeles, has defeated three fighters in a row that sport a combined record of 25-4.
En su última pelea, la 28 year-old Serrano was impressive in defeating previously undefeated Enver Halili via 8th round disqualification.
“Tuve un gran campo de entrenamiento. Freddie Roach trained me and I will be cornered by his assistant Ernie Zavala el viernes,” dijo Serrano. “Training in Los Angeles is a big part of my winning streak. Out there, I am always around big fighters, and I can focus on boxing 100% of the time.”
Another big part of his resurgence is his manager Mark Cipparone of Club 1957 Administración. Cipparone has helped put Serrano in the best possible situation for Serrano to succeed, and Serrano fully acknowledges that.
“Mark is certainly a big part of this. He makes sure that I get tested in each fight. The reason that I am around such good training is because of him. With all that, I feel that I can compete with anyone at welterweight, and I will continue to show it.”
In Hawkins, Serrano is facing an undefeated but untested foe, and he feels with his confidence at a sky high level and ring experience will prove to be the difference.
“Hawkins is undefeated, but this is not the first undefeated fighter that I have fought (It will be his 6th undefeated opponent). I know he is young, so I want to see what he has. “His last four fights have developed him further then he has at any point in his career. I would even say beginning with his fight against (Undefeated Prospect) Alex Saucedo. Raymond would have won the fight if he didn’t get caught in the 2nd round. Look at the scores. I think that fight was a turning point for him. It gave him the confidence that he could compete on the level of the top of the division,” said Cipparone, who also manages heavyweight Joey Dawejko.
“Raymond has the natural ability to go along with a tremendous ring I.Q. He is such a sophisticated fighter in there, and now he has found that warrior inside of him. I feel it is his time to get to the top of the welterweight division. This fight is a gift to the promoters as it is for the NABA-USA title with the winner not only going to get the belt, but a ranking in the WBA. You don’t see fights like this on the club level shows.”

Busy Spring for GH3 Promotions fighters

FILADELFIA – Everything is set for the 11th Annual Briscoe Awards, ser agarrado este domingo tarde, Marzo 25, 2018, 1-4 Primer ministro, al VBA Clubhouse in Philadelphia. The event celebrates the biggest and best achievements of the Philadelphia-area boxing scene, and is normally attended by boxers – tanto en el pasado y el presente, other boxing personalities, and fight fans.
“2017 was a memorable year for our local boxing scene, and it will be great to bring everyone together to celebrate it,” said John DiSanto, founder of the Briscoe Awards. “Our event is really just a party – comida, drinks, and a coming together of everyone who loves this sport. It’s always great to see the mix of people that come to the Briscoe Awards. The highlight however, is throwing the spotlight on the fighters who worked so hard to entertain all of us fans. It’s always a good day and a fun time.”

FILADELFIA – Nine area photographers will each exhibit one photo highlighting local boxing action from 2017 al 11th Annual Briscoe Awards en Marzo 25, 2018, al VBA Clubhouse in Philadelphia. The photos will also be judged by those attending the event to determine the “2017 Photo of the Year”. All attendees of the event will be given a ballot and asked to vote for their favorite photo from the nine selections. The photo chosen as the best of the year will win its photographer a Briscoe Award.
“This is the second year we’ve shined a spotlight on the many ring photographers who cover our local fight scene,” said John DiSanto, founder of the Briscoe Awards. “I really appreciate what the photographers do and the contribution they make to our boxing scene. Their photos capture the highs and lows of the sport we love, and it is important to acknowledge that.”
The Briscoe Awards commemorate the biggest and best accomplishments of the Philly-area boxing scene.
