LAS VEGAS (Febrerruary 1, 2016) -World Series of Fighting (WSOF.com) has announced the addition of two welterweight (170 lliura) bouts – Jamie “The Chosyn 1” Yager (6-4) vs. Greg Parker (5-1) i Ozzie Alvarez (6-3) vs.Andrew “The” Ramm (4-3) – to complete the live NBCSN televised (9 p.m. ET / 6 pm. Jamie Yager vs. Greg Parker

The 32-year-old Yager of Huntington Beach, Califòrnia. will return to the cage after being sidelined for three years due to injuries.

A lifelong athlete who took up Jiu-Jitsu while attending Pasadena City College, Yager was the middleweight winner of the 2008 MMA competition reality television series, The Iron Ring, that aired on BET.

Yager went on to compete in season 11 de The Ultimate Fighter reality, scoring a punishing, 26 second KO on Ben Stark with a head kick in the first episode and, later, una primera ronda (1:09) QUI (vagues) a Charles Blanchard.

Ramm of Costa Mesa, Califòrnia. via Bremerton, Rentat. is a 31-year-old submission expert who recently earned his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under mentor and famed trainer Eddie Bravo.

Prior to competing in MMA, Ryan Glover was a standout dual sport athlete at Mountain Valley High School in Rumford, Maine. A state champion wrestler, Glover made his biggest mark on the football field where he was named the “Football Player of the Year” by the Lewiston Sun Journal in 2010.

I dropped the ball that night and you can rest assured that’s not going to happen again. Williams, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) blue belt and member of Central Maine Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (CMBJJ) a Auburn, blasted fellow newcomer Joe Krech (0-1) out of the gate before securing a fight-ending armbar in a spectacular 26-seconds into the first round. The dizzying debut was enough to earn the impressive young Williams a shot at NEF gold.

 

“This fight is just another step and he’s in the way,” stated Williams flatly when asked for comment.

The 24-year-old Branchuk is riding a seven-fight win streak. Known as a strong striker, he has knocked out 10 dels seus oponents.

M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephan Puetz & Llegeix Morrison

In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui a M-1 Desafiament 62.
Puetz (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, prendre una decisió deViktor Nemkov a M-1 Desafiament 46. In his next title defense, Emeev lost his title belt at M-1 Desafiament 51 as Vasilevsky won by fourth-round stoppage via punches. The partnership will commence on Saturday, Jan. 23 when over two dozen figures from the World Series of Fighting universe will be available for video chat sessions with fans during the WSOF27: Firmino vs. Fodor event that will air live on NBCSN at 10 p.m. I/7 p.m. PT from the FedExForum in Memphis, Tenn.

Available for download in the App Store, the Talk2Legends app also allows fans to share completed chat sessions with friends on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

“The partnership between World Series of Fighting and Talk2Legends will enable a fan experience that is unmatched in sports, for a reasonable cost,” said Talk2Legends CEO Ryan Hermansky.

MONTE CARLO, Mònaco (Gener 21, 2016) – The second annual World MMA Association (WMMAA) Pan-American Congress will be held February 5–7 at The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce in Albuquerque, Nou Mèxic.
The Pan-Am Congress focuses on structure to continue building the introduction and rollout of the WMMAA worldwide officials licensing and database with more than 56 countries participating in the Licensing of MMA Officials. The Congress will touch on calendar roll out of the first bachelor’s and master’s degree program for Combat Sports Administration.

The PANAM Multi-Media Committee, led by Univision’s Carlos Fourzan, is working with Communications Director Edgar Camposi Fernando Cuscuela, Co-Founder of EveryPost, on the launch of “ENLACE,” the exclusive correspondent network program through communication faculties around the globe. The WMMAA PANAM has a very unique and progressive way by working with areas of government, sports, turisme, education and national defense.

The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce is located at 1309 4º St. SW in Albuquerque, Nou Mèxic.
“We are honored and excited to be able to host the WMMAA and be part of history once again,” Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce Vice President Ernie C’ de Baca said. “New Mexico has been notorious for its fighting champions in different combat sports, but we also have many business champions! Here at The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, we are the camp behind that business champion.”
The Pan-American Congress is held in conjunction with the 2016 PANAM CAMP, where athletes from all of Latin America will be training in Albuquerque from Jan. 27–Febrer. 8. Leading the MMA Camp is world known Coach Chris Luttrell (The Fight Authority) and conditioning by Curt Chavez (eVOLV Strong).

M-1 Grand Prix Tournament relaunched

ST. PETERSBURG, Rússia (Gener 20, 2016) – M-1 Global President Vadim Finkelchtein recently announced the relaunching of its popular series, M-1 Grand Prix Tournament.
“We’ve been preparing this a long time and now we’re happy to officially announce our 2016 M-1 Grand Prix Tournament,” Finkelchtein said. “This has been a very popular format and fans are always excited about it. This time we will feature a 4-man tournament, rather than the usual 8-man pairings, because the 4-man version is faster and more entertaining. We don’t want to bore people with long expectation periods and lessen the risk of occasional injuries and fighter changes in the tournament.”
The first M-1 Grand Prix match of 2016 is set in the middleweight division as three-time Bellator champion Alejandro “Tempesta” Shlemenko (51-9-0, M-1: 2-0-0) takes on former M-1 Challenge middleweight and light heavyweight titlist Vyacheslav Vasilevsky (27-3-0, M-1: 10-1-0)a M-1 Desafiament 64, Febrer 19 a l'Estadi Olímpic de Moscou.
“Bé, we were choosing between several offers from different promotions,” explained Shlemenoko’s manager Alexey Zhernakov. “Al final, we came to the conclusion that M-1 Grand Prix participation is the most interesting option for us at the moment. Alexander is still under Bellator’s exclusive contract. Per tant, we had to negotiate with Bellator, which kindly allowed us to sign with M-1 Global. We expect Alexander Shlemenko to take part in major M-1 Challenge events as they are always organized at a high level and broadly covered by the media.”
