Philadelphia (Februar 16, 2022)–Championship boxing comes to Live! Event Center at Live! Kasino & Hotel Philadelphia as undefeated rising star Christian Tapia annimmt Luis Lebron in a 10-round contest for the WBC Super Featherweight title auf Samstag Nacht, 12. März.

Tapia von Coamo, Puerto Rico, has an impressive record of 13-0 mit 12 Knockouts. Die 27 year-old is a five year veteran who has stopped his last eight adversaries. Juli 31, 2021, Tapia won the NABA Super Featherweight title with a 2nd round demolition over former world-ranked contender Mason Menard (36-5). In seinem letzten Kampf, Tapia took out previously undefeated and highly regarded Iron Alvarez (14-0) in the 10th and final round on December 4, 2021 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. In diesem Kampf, Tapia dominated the previously undefeated Alvarez, as he was up on all cards with Alvarez barely winning a round, before Tapia ended the fight in the 10th.

Lebrón and Vicente grab WBO Belts

Barranquilla, Kolumbien – Puerto Rico’s featherweight Luis “Popeye” Lebron (11-0-1, 5 KO) und WBO #13 ranked super bantamweight Yenifel “El Rayo” Vicente (32-3-2, 24 KO) der Dominikanischen Republik, defeated their respective opponents in scheduled WBO Latino title bouts held at Hotel El Prado.

 

 

 

 

Lebrón won the title by unanimous decision (95-93, 95-93, 98-91) over Colombian Luis Ruiz (9-2, 9 KO). Ruiz was knocked to the canvas in the second and ninth rounds. Mittlerweile, Vicente, wer wird von DiBella Entertainment gefördert, defeated Colombian veteran Walberto Ramos (24-9-2, 17 KO) by 4th round TKO. Ramos was knocked down twice in the first round, then once again in the second, third, and fourth, until the referee stopped the fight.

 

 

 

 

Lebrón and Vicente are managed by Spartan Boxing Club.

 

 

 

 

In another bout of interest, former Puerto Rican Olympian and part of Top Rank, Jeyvier Cintrón (5-0, 3 KO) of Bayamón, won by technical knockout in the fourth round against Jonathan Burgos (13-5-1, 8 KO) aus Kolumbien.
