Brandon Bennett übernimmt Jonathan Maicelo im 10-Runden-Main Event diesen Freitagabend bei Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC

Washington, DC (August 25, 2015) An diesem Freitag Nacht, August 28 am Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington Hauptstadt der Nation, DC, Königs Promotions wird eine spektakuläre Nacht des Boxens, die einige der besten Talente in den Vereinigten Staaten verfügen präsentieren.

Im Main Event, Brandon Bennett (19-1, 8 KO) wird Platz ab mit ehemaligen WM-Herausforderer Jonathan Maicelo (21-2, 12 KO) in einem leichten Anfall für 10 Runden angesetzt.

Bennett von Cincinnati, Ohio hat hart trainiert für Maicelo, , die für eine Übergangs WM-Titel in Frage gestellt hat,.

“Training war gut. Ich an Gewicht für ein paar Tage gewesen,. Es ist gewesen 2 harte Monate, aber der schwierige Teil der Ausbildung und Diät ist vorbei und ich bin bereit zu kämpfen,” sagte Bennett.

Auf die Frage, fragte Maicelo, Bennett war nicht mit seinem Gegner betroffenen, trotz Maicelo mit Siegen über Art Hovhannisyan und ehemaligen WM-Herausforderer Fernando Angulo.

“Er ist ein orthodoxer Kämpfer. Er liebt es, im kommen, und er liebt es, Punsch zu begegnen. Er kann um den Titel gekämpft haben, aber ich bin der erfahrene Kämpfer. Ich habe guten Jungs gekämpft und ich die beste Sparring. All das spielt keine Rolle,, denn am Ende des Tages, wir müssen kämpfen. ”

Im Main Event, Brandon Bennett will square off with former world title challenger Jonathan Maicelo in a Lightweight bout scheduled for 10-rounds.

Bennett von Cincinnati, OH has a record of 19-1 mit 8 Knockouts. Die 27 year-old has been a professional for seven years and won his first 16 bouts which included a win over John Nater (9-1). Since suffering his only defeat, Bennett has won three in a row which has been highlighted with a with a win over previously undefeated Rodney Pierre-Paul (7-0) and his last bout when he stopped Rondale Hubbert (10-1-1) in three rounds on May 29 in Philadelphia.

Maicelo of North Bergen, NJ hat eine Aufzeichnung von 21-2 mit 12 Knockouts. He began his career in his native Peru in 2005. Er hat sich aufgerafft 17 wins and in the process won the WBC Latino Lightweight title and the WBA Fedecentro Lightweight title. Philadelphia (Mai 29,2015)—Heute Abend am Stadium HolidayInn in Philadelphia, King’s Promotions presents a great night of boxing that will headlined by 10-round Jr. Lightweight bout between Frankie De Alba (15-1-2, 5 KO) und Bernardo Gomez Uribe (14-3, 10 KO).
In a six-round Super Middleweight bout Farah Ennis (21-2, 12 KO) will make his return to the ring after a 22 month hiatus when he takes on Michael Gbenga (20-19, 20 KO)
Ennis, who was last seen dropping a 10-round unanimous decision to new WBC Super Middleweight champion Badou Jack, is looking to get back into contention with a big outing over the veteran from Ghana.
“Training war gut. I only know that Gbenga is from Ghana,” sagte Ennis.
After what Ennis admitted was a lackluster performance against Jack, he needed some time away from the sport in order to get himself back on track.
“I took the time off to get my mind together. In that fight I didn’t let my hands go. I was thinking too much and I know I could have beat him. It just wasn’t my night.”
Ennis also took the time off to get into some training camps and improve on his own game.
“I was in camp with David Lemieux for when he fought Gabriel Rosado. It was during that time I got my head back and now is where I need to be. I need to go out and listen to my dad (Trainer Bozy Ennis). I am in 32 Jetzt Jahre alt. Das ist es. It is either all or nothing.”
“I just hope everyone comes out and supports as I am looking to put on a show and start the next phase of my career.”

Inn in Philadelphia, King’s Promotions presents a great night of boxing that will headlined by 10-round Jr. Lightweight bout between Frankie De Alba (15-1-2, 5 KO) und Bernardo Gomez Uribe (14-3, 10 KO).
De Alba von Reading, PA has been one of the hottest fighters on the East Coast as he has won 13 straight bouts and is unbeaten since dropping his professional debut in 2011.
Die 27 year-old is coming into his own and has been training hard in preparation for this bout against Uribe.
“Training war großartig. ich fühle 100% and this truly has been one of the best camps I have ever had. I really feel like I am in the best shape in my career,” sagte de Alba.
Like two of his last three opponents, Jose Bustos and Pablo Batres, Uribe is a tough yet unknown fighter from Mexico who sports a solid record.

Inn in Philadelphia, King’s Promotions presents a great night of championship boxing that will headlined by 10-round UBF Lightweight championship bout between Frankie De Alba (15-1-2, 5 KO) und Bernardo Gomez Uribe (14-3, 10 KO).
In one of the 8-round co-features, Steve Upsher Chambers (24-4-1, 6 KO) returns to the city where he cut his teeth as a professional to take on Alejandro Rodriguez (24-16-1, 14 KO) in einem Jr. Weltergewicht bout.
Chambers, who came originally to Philadelphia with former Heavyweight title challenger, “Schnell” Eddie Chambers, kämpfte 23 times and the famed Blue Horizon in Philadelphia and will be making his first start in the City of Brotherly Love in almost 6 Jahre.
“I have been training hard and working on opening my new gym with (Leichtbau Anwärter) Rod Salka,” said Upsher.
“I am on weight already and I feel good. We will be fighting at 142 Pfund.”
Upsher is ready to show the fans how far his abilities have grown since he turned pro in Philadelphia in 2003 als er gerade war, 18 Jahre alt.
“I am happy to be coming back to Philadelphia. I want to show people how far I have come and see the improvement that I have made as a fighter.”
Despite losing his three bouts to the likes of former world champions Luis Collazo and Andre Berto as well as then-undefeated prospect Eddie Gomez, Upsher was competitive in all those bouts and grew tremendously from those experiences.
“It showed that I can compete against that level of fighter. Plus everyone of those guys was bigger than me. Ich bin eine natürliche 140 pounder and can make 135 if the right opportunity presented itself.”
Chambers went back to his native Pittsburgh to train in neighboring city Coal Center, PA.
“My mind is set on winning a world title at 140 Pfund. After the three losses, I cant afford any missteps. People see about the losses. I know I have the ability to be a world champion and on Mai 29 that will start to show.”
On the veteran opponent, Rodriguez, Upsher said, “I know he is tough and from Mexico. I will look at a little film before the fight and go from there. I really don’t worry about what he will do. He should worry about me. This fight is redemption for me. It’s a start and then I would like to right all of the losses. But first I am looking for a dominant performance am Freitag then I want to end all doubts.”
