Vera, of Fort Worth, Texas, has a perfect mark of 16-0 o'n knockouts bilan, and is ranked No. 7 WBA va No. 14 WBO tomonidan.

The 28 year-old southpaw has built that mark on the strength of beating good competition. He has defeated Alberto Robles (3-0) and Radmir Akhmediyev (7-0). He won the NABA title with a sixth-round stoppage over Joey Rueles (10-1-1). He has defended the title successfully twice with a second-round stoppage over Milorad Zizc (12-1), and in his last bout when he won a 10-round split decision over Salim Larbi on Yanvar 27 in Phoenix.

The 25-year-old Cantu (14-0, 1 KO), fighting out of Kingsville, Texas, is a pure boxer who is the reigning North American Boxing Federation (NABF) chempioni, tartib No. 3 by the WBO North American Boxing Organization (Qo'shnilari) va. 6 by the NABA. The heavy-handed Palicte, who has knocked out 18 uning 21 victims, is rated No. 5 by the NABF and No. 15 by the NABA. Stephon Young wins WBA NABA title with decision over Tony Lopez Jr.

Butning, which was held at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, was televised live on CBS Sports Network.

Young controlled the final three-quarters of the bout as he used his speed and aggressiveness to win by scores 97-93, 96-94 va 95-95.

Yosh, 28 years old of St. Louis, raised his undefeated mark to 15-0-3 with six-knockouts.

Ruiz (16-5-1, 6 KOS) replaced Emmanuel Quartey, who was unable to secure a visa, and he was rewarded with a 10-round majority decision victory over fellow Mexican fighter Hanzel Martinez (23-3, 19 KOS) for the vacant World Boxing Association (WBA) International super bantamweight title.

“El Trumpo,” fighting out of Oxnard, Kaliforniya, put on a clinic, avoiding the lunging Martinez, who was frustrated throughout the fight by Ruiz’ slickness. Martiniz lunged, Ruiz countered and then he slightly moved to the side, avoiding any potential. Defensively, Ruiz was far superior, keeping Martinez off balance through out the majority of rounds.

“Men ajoyib his qilaman,” Ruiz exclaimed. “I took this last minute fight but I was ready for it. Hanzel is a tough fighter. He has guts. I didn’t think he’d to the full 10 tur. This is an opportunity that will open a lot of doors for me. He knew he was coming to fight and I as ready for him.”

In a good technical fight with a lot of give-and-take action from start to finish, mag'lubiyatsizStephon “Showstopper” Yosh (15-0-3, 6 KOS) mag'lub Tony Lopez, Jr. (11-2, 4 KOS) in a battle of gritty southpaws. Fighting out of St. Louis, Young’s quickness prevailed over Lopes’ toughness, as both fighters put on a show for the vacant North American Boxing Association (Shuningdek) bantamweight title in the co-feature. Young won a 10-round majority decision.

In the television opener, NABA USA super welterweight champion John “Phenom” Vera (15-0, 10 KOS) made another strong statement under the neon lights, stopping challenger Milorad “Micko” Zizic (12-2, 7 KOS) Ikkinchi turda. Making his second title defense, Vera, a southpaw, served notice to all super welterweights, dropping Zizic twice and then staggering him again before referee Kenny Baylesscalled an end to the fight.

“I came out here to put on a show,” Vera said after the fight. “I dropped him (birinchi) with a left-right. The second knockdown I feinted and hit him with a hard right jab. I then turned right-handed because I knew my right was working. I knew I had him.”

Las Vegas junior lightweight Randy Moreno cruised to his fifth win without a loss, unloading an unanswered barrage of punches on Fabian “El Suavecito” Alanez (1-1) hakam qadar Jay Nady halted the fight in the second round.

Despite his opponent having an advantage in terms of their comparative amateur backgrounds, Lopez doesn’t feel that will be a factor in their fight, which he predicts will be very exciting.
“Amateurs are a different ball game,” Lopez commented. “It gave us knowledge and experience but at the end of the day, our records are just numbers. I don’t look at the numbers or the fighter, I’m only going to look at the fight because my job is to get in the ring and bring home the win.
“I’m a versatile fighter; if I have to brawl, I brawl but I can adjust to whatever I see fit. It’s going to be an exciting fight because I have everything I need to win. I’m a lot smarter in the ring and I’m coming to get the win.”
NABA rated No. 2 Yosh, 27, is a southpaw with a rich amateur pedigree background having compiled an 86-13 rekord, including a silver-medal performance at the 2011 National Golden Gloves Championships.
“I don’t really know too much about Lopez,” Young remarked. “I know he’s from Texas and he’s 11-1, which means he already know what it feels like to lose. He’s a decent fighter but nothing I can’t handle. I can fight any style, but one thing for sure and two for certain, whichever style I choose to fight will be a good showing. I’m coming to WIN!”
All three of his draws were fought on the road, including his last fight this past April at Turning Stone Casino in Verona, Nyu York, in which he and 14-0 Nikolay Potapovbattled evenly for 10 tur. Ammo, Young doesn’t appear to be overly concerned about fighting on the B side against an RJJ opponent.
“I really don’t worry about getting a win by decision,” Young explained. “I just feel like I will have to do a little more just to make it a one-way fight. And if the KO comes, I will love that.”

Three title fights, one memorable night of boxing “Knockout Night at the D” returns Sept. 30

Tony Lopez, Jr. (11-1, 4 KOs faces unbeaten Stephon “Showstopper” Yosh (14-0-3, 6 KOS) for the vacant WBA North American Boxing Association (Shuningdek) bantamweight title in the 10-round co-feature, while undefeated WBA-NABA USA super welterweight champion John “Phenom” Vera (14-0, 9 KOS) makes his first title defense against Milorad “Micko” Zizic (12-1, 6 KOS) 8-tur Butning.
“This show has all the makings of the best ‘Knockout Night at the D’ show of the year with three title fights on tap,” RJJ Boxing Promotions CEO/Co-Founder Keyt Veltre dedi. “The six principal fighters have a combined record of 94-6-3 bilan 63 knockouts. All three of these title fights are evenly matched and can go either way. The winner of the main event should land a spot in the WBA’s top 15 ratings. And we plan to load up the undercard with many of Las Vegas’ most promising prospects.”
Martinez, 24, sobiq Jahon boks kengashi hisoblanadi (WBC) United States bantamweight champion. A native of Tijuana, Meksika, Martinez is ranked No. 4 by the NABA, and on the verge of breaking out on the national boxing scene. He hasn’t fought since last December because his last fight was cancelled when he was injured in a car accident.
A former super flyweight champion at home in Ghana, Quartey like Martinez is a dangerous puncher who has experience in the ring. He will be making his United State debut Yetti. 30 va boshqalar. Martinez.

All three of his draws were fought on the road. His last was in his most recent fight, last April at Turning Stone Casino in Verona, Nyu York, in which he and 14-0 Nikolay Potapov battled evenly for 10 tur.
Vera’s brutal sixth-round knockout of 10-1-1 Joey Ruelas, also at DLVEC, earned the left-handed Vera his NABA-USA super welterweight crown. Fighting out of Fort Worth, Vera will be facing the toughest opponent of his 3 ½ year professional career.
Zizic, a native of Montenegro is a former International Boxing Federation (IBF) Youth and WBC Mediterranean middleweight champion. Reyting raqami. 14 by the NABA, Zizic now lives and trains in the capital of boxing, Las Vegas.
