OSCAR VASQUEZ TO HEADLINE PRO BOXING SHOW AT ATLANTIS JUNE 11TH

MAY 18th, RENO — Let’s Get It On Promotions and the Atlantis Casino Resort and Spa are pleased to announce an evening of world-class professional boxing on Lørdag, June 11th, 2016 in Atlantis’ Paradise Ballroom. The evening’s main event will feature is local Reno favorite Oscar Vasquez (9-1). Vasquez, a popular local flyweight, will be featured in an eight-round bout.

 

Vasquez, who recently entered into a long-term promotional agreement with Let’s Get It On Promotions, looks to continue his campaign towards world title contention. I sin siste kamp, Vasquez scored a sensational knockout win over Jose Toribio in Fallon, NV.

 

Three additional fighters from the Reno/Sparks area are also slated to fight June 11th, including Oscar’s younger brother Santos, who was an alternate boxer for the 2012 US Olympic Team, samt, Kenny Davis Jr. and Alec McGee, both from Reno, who will make their professional debuts in separate bouts as well.

Dørene åpner kl 6pm, first bell at 7pm.

 

Additional fights which will feature top boxing prospects from around the country will be added. More information will be announced soon. Kjempe kort endres.

OSCAR "Chapito" Vasquez score stor K.O. PÅ LØRDAG

25 august, RENO, — Fluevekt Oscar "Marquee" Vasquez (9-1 2 KOs) tok sin niende seier ved å stoppe San Diego Jose Toribio (6-2) Lørdag natt i Fallon, NV.

 

The scheduled eight-round contest was action packed from the opening bell with both fighters having their moments. Vasquez’s stuck to boxing while Toribio pushed the action. As the bout moved to the final rounds, Toribio began to land more punches than he had been able to in previous rounds. In the seventh round, ukjent terreng for både jagerfly, Vasquez landet en ond venstre hook til kroppen, which paralyzed Toribio. He was unable to recover.

 

This was the first scheduled eight-round contest for both. It was a tough and entertaining fight that got the Northern Nevada crowd on it’s feet. Although Fallon is practically Vasquez’s hometown, fansen entusiastisk uttrykte sin takknemlighet for spillet Toribio etterpå.

 

Med seieren, Vasquez fortsetter sin imponerende seier-streak, og også fortsetter å vokse profilen sin i fluevekt divisjon.
