Bethlehem, PA (Januari 23, 2018) – Twee keer wereldkampioen weltergewicht kampioen,Kermit Cintron has been added to an already deep card when he takes on George Sosa in a ten-round bout on Dinsdag, Februari 13 bij The Sands Bethlehem Event Center.

Al aangekondigd waren twee acht-ronde co-main evenementen met Frank De Alba(22-2-2, 9 KO) nemen Carlos Padilla (16-6-1, 10 KO) evenals Mykal Fox(15-0, 4 Kos) vechten Ricardo Garcia (14-1, 9 KO's) in een super lichtgewicht bout.
De kaart wordt bevorderd door Promotions King's.
Cintron van Reading, PA heeft een record van 39-6-3 met 30 KO.
De 38 year-old Cintron is a 18 jaar professional die zijn eerste gewonnen 23 gevechten (20 via stilstand) door het verslaan van de wil van Leon Pearson (9-1-1), Said Ouali (7-0), Omar Davila (12-2), Ian Mackillop (14-1), Luis Rosado (29-5), Elio Ortiz (25-6), & Teddy Reid (22-5-1).

The King’s Promotions event featured the continued ascension of world-ranked junior middleweight Tyrone Brunson. Brunson stopped Manny Woods in eight rounds to capture the UBF International title.
The co-feature was a Philadelphia showdown of super middleweights that saw Brandon Robinson win a unanimous decision over Christopher Brooker for the UBF All Americas Super Middleweight title.
The show was kicked off with a scintillating performance by rising star Jaron Ennis as he took out George Sosa in two rounds.
There will be an announcement of future re-airings of this show.
Other bouts will be featured on the broadcast.

Philadelphia, PA (November 29, 2017) – They fought as amateurs, and are both considered among the best super middleweights in the city.
Deze vrijdag nacht, Brandon Robinson and Christopher Brooker meet as professionals in what could shape up to be an explosive co-feature bout of a 12 fight card at the

2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
The eight-round bout is for the UBF All-Americas title.
The loaded show is promoted my King’s Promotions.
The main event will pit Tyrone Brunson (25-6-2, 23 KO) tegen Manny Woods (16-6-1, 6 KO) van Sint-Petersburg, Florida in a junior middleweight bout scheduled for ten rounds.
“Training is geweldig. This has been the best camp that I have had since turning professional hands down,” zei Robinson.
Although this could be a breakthrough fight for 29 year-old Robinson, He has been looking at Brooker no different than any previous foe.
“I look at every fight as a big fight. I see each fight as if I am fighting Canelo or Golovkin, so I get my self in the best shape I can be.”
Being that they are in the same city, there is the aforementioned history between the two fighters.
“We fought as amateurs, and I won that fight. Since the, we have sparred a couple times, and that has given me a great scouting report on him, and let’s just say I feel very comfortable going into this fight.”
Fighting against another Philly fighter is nothing new for Robinson as he already has a victory over Lamont McLaughlin.
“I have been through this, and these kind of fights bring out the best of me, and with a winop vrijdag, this will open up many doors for me that I never expected to be opened. I am looking for a complete performance, The fans will see power in both hands, craftiness, ring generalship and a huge heart. I just want to thank King’s Promotions, and I am looking to take home the UBF All-Americas Super Middleweight title.”
For the 26 year-old Brooker, he has been here before but he wants to get back in the win column after losing to undefeated Light Heavyweight Ahmed Elbiali in a fight that he took on short notice on 18 juli.
“I got right back in the gym after that fight. I been working for 12 weken. I have a new personal trainer Jermaine Clark and my new trainer Octavio Pineda,” said Brooker.
Brooker does not believe that the amateur loss to Robinson means anything going into Friday night.
“Yea, it does not mean anything. It was my 3rd amateur fight. The sparring sessions were good. I treated them like I wanted to get some revenge for losing to him, and I am very confident after those sessions. This fight for me is about getting this belt . People will see me outwork him and outclass him.”
Brooker has made his name throughout the boxing circles with his willing to fight and defeat anybody at anytime. That is evidenced by his wins over Leo Hall, John Magda, Antowyan Aikens and Gabriel Pham. Brooker also stepped up to face Elbiali, Ronald Gavril and Ronald Ellis, and he became a favorite on national television because of his tough as nails style.
“Robinson is just another guy in front of me. I been in and defeated much more experienced fighters then him. He has not have anything that I have not seen in the ring. Philadelphia, PA (November 27, 2017) – Junior middengewicht Tyrone Brunson is looking for a major opportunity in 2018.

“I really don’t much about him, but I am not overlooking him. I have had a great training camp, and now I am just winding it down.”

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ-It was a bittersweet night for welterweight contender Thomas LaManna as he won a 10-round unanimous decision over George Sosa in an entertaining bout in front of a capacity crowd at The Claridge Hotel In Atlantic City.

The 11-bout card was promoted by Rising Promotions.

LaManna won the WBC Silver Latino Welterweight title and shortly after, het gevechtsvliegtuig bekend als “Cornflake” promptly announced his retirement in the ring.

The two traded big blows throughout the bout as Sosa came out very aggressively and was able to land some good right hands. LaManna was giving better of the two-way action, which had the sold-out crowd very enthused throughout the contest.
In de tweede ronde, Sosa started to swell under his left eye. In ronde zes, He started bleeding badly from his nose as the result of pinpoint shots from LaManna.

In ronde zes, LaManna was dominant by scoring two knockdowns from body shots. LaManna was relentless in battering Sosa all over the ring with Sosa lucky to hear the bell to culminate the round. Both guys traded hard shots down the stretch with LaManna getting the better of the action. Every so often, Sosa was able to score with hard shots, but they were few and far between.
LaManna sat down on his punches and landed thudding blows as he tried to get the stoppage against the tough Sosa.

LaManna, 147 lbs van Millville, NJ gewonnen door scores van 98-90 tweemaal en 99-88 to raise his record to 24-2. Sosa of Reading, PA valt op 15-10.

“The body work, the distance and the jab was working for me. He was long and tall so we worked on the distance and I started to put my punches together. The body work is what put him down,”zei LaManna. “I took some shots from him, but that is not what I go in wanting to do. I wore him down, worked the body, touched his arms and touched his body.”

“It feels so great to win a championship and to get that hardware.”

Then LaManna announced that this would be his last fight.

Voormalig wereldkampioen Imamu Mayfield en Lamont Capers slugged it out to an eight-round split draw in their cruiserweight bout.

In ronde zes, Mayfield was cut over his left eye from a punch, and Capers had bad swelling over his left eye from a headbutt.Each fighter took a card by a 77-75, tally while 3rd card read even at 76-76.

Mayfield, 200 lbs of Freehold, NJ is now 26-10-3. Capers, 196 lbs of Hawley, PA is 7-10-3.

Yurik Mamedov won a six-round unanimous decision over Ariel Vasquez in a welterweight bout.

Mamedov, 145.5 pond van Brooklyn, NY won by scores of 60-54 alle kaarten, en is nu 7-0. Vasquez, 145.3 lbs van Managua, NIC is 12-19-2.

Emmanuel Rodriguez won a four round unanimous decision over pro debuting Willie Anderson.

Scores waren 40-36 on all cards for Rodriguez, 119 lbs van Newark, NJ, and he is now 2-0. Anderson, 122 lbs of Paulsboro, NJ is 0-1.

Anderson is the son of former Los Angeles Rams Wide Receiver Willie “Flipper” Anderson.

Vidal Rivera won a four-round unanimous decision over Weusi Johnson in a featherweight bout.

Despite being cut over his left eye in round two, Rivera was able to sweep all cards to the tune of 40-36.

Rivera, 128.6 lbs of Camden, NJ is now 7-0. Johnson, 130.3 lbs of Wilmington, DE is 2-5.

Frederick Julan stopped Tahlik Taylor in the 6th and final round of their light heavyweight bout.

Julan landed a hard left that sent Taylor staggering back into the ropes, en de wedstrijd werd gestopt op 1:15.

Nahir Albright flattened Ronald Logan in 77 seconds of their scheduled four-round junior welterweight bout.

Albright landed a perfect right that sent Logan down for several minutes.

Anthony Young won a six-round unanimous decision over Carlos Winston Velasquez in a welterweight bout.

Atlantic City, NJ (Augustus 16, 2017)–Deze zaterdag nacht, Thomas LaManna zal op zich te nemenGeorge Sosa in a ten-round bout for the WBC Silver Latino Welterweight bout that will headline a big 11 bout card at what is expected to be a sold out Calridge Hotel in Atlantic City.
The show, promoted by Rising Promotions, is the 9th card that will be staged before a capacity crowd.
Both main event fighters recently gave their final comments before Saturday’s showdown.
” I’m just ready to fight and I hope he is too. I encourage people to come to this action packed, stacked event. 12 bouts featuring some of the hottest prospects and a title fight,” zei LaManna.
“I think LaManna is a boxer who has not fought anyone of my caliber yet, and unlike me, I have fought everyone,” said Sosa. LaManna has been protected during his whole career, Do I think he will be easy? Niet Doen. There is no such thing as an easy fight. He is his Mommy and Daddy;s baby. When he fought somebody with caliber, he lost.”
Despite his 15-9 record, Sosa knows a win can change his whole career.
“This fight is for the WBC Silver title, and would definitely change my career. Before I would just take fights because I needed the money to take care of my family in Cuba. I was too busy partying, and not taking matters seriously. Like my last fight with Anthony Young, I arrived three days before the weigh-in, en ik was 21 pounds over the weight. Atlantic City, NJ (Juli 14, 2017)–Weltergewicht mededinger, Thomas “Cornflake” LaManna zal op zich te nemen George Sosa voor de WBC Silver Latino Welterweight kampioenschap in the ten-round main event that will headline a great night of championship boxing on Zaterdag, August 19th bij The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.
The show is expected to be the 9th sold-out show at the Claridge promoted by Rising Promotions.
“Rising Promotions is looking forward to ending the Summer with another great show here at the Claridge. We have a good line up on the card so we are hoping for a packed house, and we are looking forward to staging our first championship bout,” said Debbie LaManna of Rising Promotions.
The championship bout is the first major sanctioning body championship bout in Atlantic City in almost three years. (Kovalev vs Hopkins, November 8, 2014).
LaManna will be looking to win his first belt in the welterweight division. A win will propel him into the rankings as he looks for a high profile bout later this year.
De 25 year-old LaManna has a record of 23-2 met negen knockouts, and he is currently riding a two fight win streak, and is undefeated in 2017.
The six-year professional is 4-1 as a Welterweight and has credible wins over Kendal Mena, and Ayi Bruce as well as his last two victories, which have come over Eduardo Flores and Carlos Winston Velasquez, who stepped into the ring with 52 en 54 fights under their belt.
LaManna dropped a ten-round unanimous decision to undefeated Dusty Hernandez-Harrison (30-0-1 16 KO's) on September 15th, 2016 in a very high intense battle that was contested for the USBA Title. The LaManna/Harrison fight is a candidate for Fight of the Year for local Philadelphia boxing award “Briscoe Award”
This will be LaManna’s 6th fight at The Claridge, and his 16th fight in Atlantic City.
“This is a great blessing for me. I get another shot at a meaningful title that will place me in the right spots with a victory. I have seen Sosa fight on our last card and he is very game, durable and strong so I cannot take him lightly. Training camp is intense, we know what we are gunning for so come August 19th, it’s going to be dark places for George Sosa,” Said Thomas LaManna.

The show was the 8th consecutive capacity capacity crowd promoted by Rising Promotions at the Claridge
LaManna dominated the action with power shots that he landed behind a long jab throughout the contest. Velasquez was game as he took a lot of shots and landed an occasional power shot. LaManna sealed the deal in the final round when he landed a flush 4-punch combination that put Velasquez on the canvas.
LaManna van Millville, NJ won on all cards by scores of 80-71 om zijn stempel te verhogen 23-2. Velasquez falls to 24-29-2.
“Velasquez was tough and durable,”said LaManna following the fight.

Anthony Young won a eight-round unanimous decision over George Sosa in an entertaining welterweight contest.
Young was extremely active as he landed hard combinations with Sosa landing an occasional hard shot to the head.

Gabriel Pham won a six round unanimous decision over Edgar Perez in a light heavyweight bout.
Pham won on all cards 60-54 en is nu 9-1. Perez of Chicago is 7-21.
Tomas Romain won a four round unanimous decision over Lamont White in a lightweight bout.

Romain of Brooklyn, NY won by scores of 40-36 tweemaal en 39-37, en is nu 3-1. White of Washington, DC is now 1-8.

Elijah Vines remained perfect with a 3rd round stoppage over Harry Tyrone Paige in a scheduled four round junior middleweight bout.

In ronde één, Vines dropped Paige with a perfect right hook. In ronde drie, Vines dropped Paige with a right to the body. Paige got to his feet, but his corner pulled the plug at 1:42.

Vines of Philadelphia is 4-0 met 4 knock-outs. Paige of Batesville, ARK is 0-5.

Frederick Julan stopped Jose Valderrama in the 6th and final round of their light heavyweight bout.

Julan dropped Valderrama in round six with a body shot. Julan finished off the when he dropped Valderrama for a 2nd time with a right hook to the head, en de strijd werd gestopt bij 1:17.

Julan of Brooklyn, NY is 5-0 met drie knock-outs. Valderrama of Manati, PR is 5-20.

Dan Pasciolla and LeMarcus Tucker battled to a majority draw in a rematch of Heavyweights.

Pasciolla took a card 58-56. That was overruled by 57-57 scores.

Pasciolla of Brick, NJ is 9-2-3. Tucker of Batesville, ARK is 4-2-1.

“I am looking forward to a great fight on Saturday. I am not taking Velasquez lightly as he is a tough veteran who has had 54 gevechten,” zei LaManna. “After I win, I want something big. Myself and Rising Promotions have regional title bouts in mind. Fights with Zab Judah and Kermit Cintron have been brought up. The ultimate goal is to get world rated, and climb up the ladder with meaningful fights that I would like to take place in Atlantic City.”
“Because I have two losses, I get calls all the time to be an opponent. I don’t look at myself as being one. I am one of the biggest, if not the biggest tickets seller in New Jersey, with a tremendous fan base, and myself and my Rising Promotions team would like to capitalize on that and move me along like a real promotional company is supposed to move a fighter. Atlantic City is a great fight town, and I think that we can bring the type of bouts back to the boardwalk that made this town the mecca of boxing that it once was.
