LAS VEGAS (Marzo 16, 2017) El Floyd Mayweather Jr. Fundación (TFMJF) successfully held their 3rd Annual Fight-4-Fitness 5K RUN, 2K WALK, KIDS FUN RUN, & Día de la Comunidad este pasado Domingo, at Sunset Park. The goal each year for Fight-4-Fitness is to support the movement toward more active and healthy lifestyles, while forming community alliances where awareness and empowerment serve as the nucleus for an improved quality of life.
“It was important that we put together an event promoting health and fitness awareness and that we got the families involved,” dijo Nicole Craig, President of The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Fundación.
Fight-4-Fitness followed its tradition and was kicked off with the 5K race and 2K walk, shortly after, kids lined up at the start line to begin the KIDS FUN RUN. 5K participants were awarded by gender and age group categories 1st a través de 3rd place, while all kids participating in the KIDS FUN RUN were awarded with a participation medal upon crossing the finish line. Children ages 12 and under had the opportunity to participate in a scavenger hunt, where they were challenged to find items hid throughout the park, la 1st-3rd winning group were presented with great prizes from contributing sponsors: Mayweather Promotions, TMT, GameWorks Las Vegas, and Pole Position.
Immediately following the races was the 3rd Annual Community Day to close the event. Community Day featured outstanding live performances from Las Vegas’ very own Prodigy Dance Group and The Monster Kids. Providing music throughout the event was Las Vegas resident DJ, D-Miles, while HOT 97.5’s Mike P emcee’d the event and kept the crowd entertained. Participants were chosen throughout the event winning prizes ranging from: gift cards, signed boxing gloves, merchandise packs, y una 50/50 cash prize!
A new addition to this year’s event was awarding local Las Vegas Track Clubs with a cash donation prize based on the number of registrants who signed up for their respective club. The first place was awarded to The BG Gators track club, second place went to Vegas Stealth, and coming in third place was the SW Stallions .

LAS VEGAS (Febrero 25, 2016) El Floyd Mayweather Jr. Fundación (TFMJF) se enorgullece en presentar la 2ndAnnual Fight 4 Fitness 5K Race, 2K Walk, Kids Fun Run, and Community Day taking place Domingo, Abril 17en Sunset Park en Las Vegas. Participants can warm-up before the race with a free yoga session courtesy of Power Yoga+Pilates+Fitness, prior to the start of the 5K Race and 2K Walk, which will begin at 8 a.m. Children can take part in a fun-filled scavenger hunt before the Kids Fun Run (una milla y media de ejecución para los niños 12 y bajo) que comienza a las 10 a.m. The race is followed by an awards ceremony honoring all of the 5K Race participants. Lucha 4 Aptitud will also feature live performances from 11-year-old singer-songwriter Sunny Malouf and Dance Connection, plus free Zumba sessions from Zumba Las Vegas. Adicionalmente, there will be a boxing ring where anyone will be able to learn some tricks of the trade from Mayweather Promotions’ estrellas.
“My foundation genuinely cares about the Las Vegas community and we are honored to be able to bring this great event to the city once again,” dijo Mayweather. “Being active is so important to living a healthy life. We hope to once again spread this positive message and encourage people of all ages to exercise and live healthy lives.”
TFMJF donated $25,000 last year to the Clark County School District that was divided amongst designated schools for support of athletic programs, physical education and related field trips.

LAS VEGAS (Febrero. 16, 2015) El Floyd Mayweather Jr. Fundación (FMJF) se enorgullece en presentar la Lucha 4 Aptitud 5K Run / Walk 2K, Kids Fun Run y ​​Día de la Comunidad que tendrá lugar Sábado, Abril 19 en Sunset Park en Las Vegas.

El evento del Día de la Comunidad inmediatamente después de la ceremonia de premiación incluirá comida, música, juegos, premios sorteados y expositores de salud y fitness que ofrecen sus servicios para mejorar sus objetivos de fitness.

La participación en el Lucha 4 Aptitud evento puede ser el catalizador necesario para crear una vigorosa, feliz, y la comunidad de Las Vegas saludable. * Distrito Escolar del Condado de Clark: Primero 100 los estudiantes pueden inscribirse de forma gratuita. Todos los estudiantes y profesores pueden registrarse para $20 hasta marzo 1st.
