På Lördag, Juni 24, 2017, professional boxing returns to Miami Beach as Warriors Boxing presents “Night of the Rising Stars 2” at the Deauville Beach Resort.
The second of Warriors Boxing’s series of Miami-area fights designed to develop local and international prospects, NORS 2 will feature popular and talented light heavyweight Robert Daniels Jr. (2-0, 2 Kos) of Miami looking to remain perfect in the light heavyweight division.
24-year-old southpaw light heavyweight Robert Daniels Jr. is the son of former cruiserweight world champion Robert “Preacherman” Daniels, the only Miami-born kämpe to hold a major world title.
Daniels Jr. started boxing at 10 years old and went 64-6 as an amateur boxer. Among his many accolades, he won the Sunshine State Games twice, the State title twice, the Platinum Gloves, the Junior Olympic regionals.
A boxer/puncher with excellent counter-punching skills, Daniels is trained by former world champion John David Jackson.
Also scheduled for action are undefeated super welterweight John David “Pretty Boy” Martinez (6-0, 5 Kos) of Miami in a six-round battle; undefeated Miami welterweight Chris Velez (7-0-1, 4 Kos) i en sex rundare; and undefeated bantamweight Lawrence Newton (6-0, 4 Kos) of Boynton Beach, Florida, will fight a six-rounder.

World class boxing event to be shown around the world

Boca Raton, FL (Maj 17, 2017) – WBA number-4 ranked and WBO number-6 ranked junior middleweight Kanat Islam kommer att ta på Norberto Gonzalez in a battle for the WBO / NABO and WBA Intercontinental Junior Middleweight championships on fredag ​​kväll, May 26th at the beautiful Boca Raton Resort & Spa i Boca Raton, Florida.

Returning to the ring after a disputed defeat to Ruslan Chagaev in a 2014 titel kamp, Oquendo is co-promoted by future Hall of Famer Roy Jones Jr.’s Square Ring Promotions and Hitz Boxing as he looks to become the first heavyweight champion from Puerto Rico since John Ruiz in 2001.
“This will be a great fight between two veteran American fighters,” Said Oquendo. “I’ve fought in Miami five times, mer, I train at the historic 5th Street Gym in Miami Beach, so I’m very comfortable here. Representing the boxing hotbed of Brooklyn, Briggs (60-6-1, 53 Kos) seeks the third heavyweight world title in his long and eventful career. Briggs became a world champion in 2006 when he scored a 12th round stoppage of Siarhei Liakhovich. Briggs has faced the best heavyweights in the world and won the lineal heavyweight world title from George Foreman in 1997. He also defeated Ray Mercer in 2005, in addition to world title challenges of Lennox Lewis and Vitali Klitschko. He enters this fight as the winner of his last nine contests, including eight knockouts and a 12-round decision over Raphael Zumbano Love.
Originally from Puerto Rico and fighting out of Chicago throughout his pro career, Oquendo (37-8, 24 Kos)looks to capitalize on his fourth opportunity and capture a world title. The slick-boxer has faced a slew of top heavyweights throughout his career, including narrow decision losses to Evander Holyfield and James Toney, plus title challenges of Chris Byrd and John Ruiz. The 44-year-old owns recent victories over Derric Rossy and Joey Abell in addition to triumphs over Clifford Etienne, David Izon and Javier Mora.

Martinez was 14-2 as an amateur and won the 2009 Golden Gloves and Florida PAL Championships. He also owns seven locations that sells fireworks. Martinez trains at the world Famous 5th Street Gym under Dino Spencer.

Fort Myers, FL (Augusti 21, 2016) – Unbeaten welterweight knockout artist Bryant “Goodfella” Perrella and Team Perrella are proud to announce they’ll give back to Fort Myers through an initiative called “Goodfella’s Great Students.”
Created by Perrella, “Goodfella’s Great Students” provides an additional incentive for students to excel in the classroom. Each month, Perrella and head trainer Michael Nowling will dedicate time to standout students selected by school administration. The selected pupils will receive personal invites and get transported to and from Syndicate Boxing Club, where they’ll participate in a fun workout run by Perrella and Nowling. Perrella back in training; excited for next Opportunity

Fort Myers, FL (Juni 22, 2016) – Welterweight rising star Bryant “Goodfella” Perrella has returned to the gym and is training in anticipation of his next bout.
På Juni 4, Perrella destroyed previously unbeaten two time National Golden Gloves champion David Grayton on ESPN. Rather than go on vacation or celebrate his victory, Perrella immediately wanted to resume training. At the advice of his team, he took a short period of time off before getting back into the gym less than two weeks after his career best victory.

Even though he’s currently waiting to get the word on his next fight date, the 27-year-old Fort Myers native believes he’ll be in another televised bout in the coming months. Naturligtvis, his immediate goal is to raise his record to 15-0 while continuing to fight his way into the upper echelon of the 147 pound division.

“I live, eat and sleep boxing,” said Perrella. “This is what I do for a living and I take my career seriously. LAKELAND, FL. (Juni 13, 2016) – Spännande super weltervikt Joseph Elegele (16-2 11 Kos) visade sin styrka och kraft Söndag natt i den viktigaste händelsen i Premier Boxning Champions: Nästa omgång om Bounce TV när han gick tån till tå med Phil Lo Greco(27-3, 15 Kos) för 10 hårt kämpade rundor från Lakeland Center i Lakeland, FL. Båda striderna lämnade allt i ringen, utbyta slag genom hela matchen med nära omgångar som gjorde att publiken ville ha mer.
Elegeleof i närheten av Winter Haven, FL startade kampen framåt, något fantastiskt Torontos Lo Greco med flera slag av slag som sätter tonen för en hårt kämpad fram och tillbaka strid. Handlingen tog upp i omgång två när Lo Greco kom in på attacken tidigt i omgången, fästa Elegele mot repen och fortsätta att peppa honom med slag mot kroppen och huvudet.
Trots att han blev förvånad över attacken, Elegele ryckte tillbaka under de sista sekunderna av omgång två och ur hörnet för att starta omgång tre. Lo Greco stannade kvar i fickan, inte rädd för att fortsätta kasta breda vänstra krokar när kämparna bytte slag fram och tillbaka.
När kampen fortsatte, Lo Greco backade Elegele upp mot repen, kväva honom med slag trots Elegeles fyra tum höjdfördel. Men runda sex kontrollerades helt av Elegele då han kastade en kombination av blåmärken som mycket väl kunde ha skickat Lo Greco till duken. Lo Greco stannade dock kvar i fickan. I den 10: e och sista omgången, Lo Greco kom ut starkt, utarbetande Elegele, men med mindre än 20 sekunder att gå i matchen, Elegele bedövade Lo Greco med ett stort slag av slag mot repen. Domare gjorde matchen 97-95 och 96-94 två gånger, allt för Elegele, vinnaren genom enhälligt beslut.
Den andra tv-sändningen såg två tidigare amatörutmärkelser Dauren Yeleussinov (5-0-1, 4 Kos) Kazakstans, som nu kämpar ut ur Brooklyn, och Devaun Lee (7-2-1, 3 Kos) av Queens, NY i en åtta-runda mellanvikt match som slutade i en split oavgjort. Yeleussinov slösade ingen tid i första omgången när han startade kampen genom att kasta flera vänstra händer, en till kroppen och två till Lee.
Lee slapp oskadd omgången och trots att han spenderade majoriteten av andra omgången mot repen, han kunde släppa händerna och fånga Yeleussinov med flera skott. Den 30-årige Yeleussinov gick på attacken i den sjätte omgången, fästa Lee mot repen, än en gång med ett stort slag av slag. Domare gjorde matchen vid 79-73 för Yeleussinov, 78-74 Lee och 76-76, avslutar matchen i delad dragning.
I öppningen TV bout, Australiska utsikter Steve Lovett (15-1, 12 Kos) kämpade Craig Baker (17-1, 13 Kos) i en 10-runda lätt tungviktstävling som slutade med en explosiv knockout. Bagare i Baytown, TX skickades till duken i runda fyra efter en stor vänster krok kastad av Lovett, men Baker var den mer aktiva kämpen under hela kampen när han var uppe på alla tre av domarens styrkort som gick in i åttonde och sista omgången. Med bara tre sekunder kvar i matchen, Baker skickade Lovett till duken med en hård höger hand som avslutade kampen.

JOSEPH ELEGELE
“Jag blev inte förvånad eftersom han är en tuff kämpe, han är kanadensisk och kanadensisk krigare är tuff. Han kom för att slåss. Det var en bra kamp.
“Det är svårt för någon att hitta ett svar för en rak vänster, men jag blev förvånad att han fortsatte att gå igenom den.
“Jag hoppas att den här vinsten sätter mig på nästa nivå. Jag är redo för de bästa kämparna. Jag vet att det finns några saker jag kan arbeta med, men jag är redo för toppkämparna.
“Jag är inte säker på vad som händer med min vänstra hand. Det gjorde mig ont när jag kastade det, men jag är en krigare. Jag har gått igenom för mycket i livet för att låta lite vänster hand skada mig. Det kan falla av och jag ska fortfarande kasta det.”
PHIL LO Greco
“Det var hans hemstad. Poängen kunde ha gått åt båda hållen. Jag skadade honom i andra omgången. Han var ute och domaren kunde ha stoppat striden. Det är ingen ursäkt. Jag kommer att slåss mot vem som helst, någonstans.
“Jag kände att jag drev kampen. Jag är besviken över beslutet.
“Det är upp till fansen om de vill träffa mig igen. Folk ser att jag kommer att slåss var som helst och var som helst. Jag njöt av ikväll.”
DEVAUN LEE
“Jag håller inte med om dragningen, Jag tror att jag vann kampen. Jag skulle ha varit bekväm med ett delat beslut. Han arbetade, men jag landade rena skott och jag landade tyngre slag. Jag känner att jag vann striden. Han har makt, men han var inte tillräckligt kraftfull för att stoppa mig.
“Nästa, Jag är redo för vad de lägger framför mig. Jag skulle göra det igen.”
CRAIG BAKER
“Lovett är en stark kille och han är en hel konkurrent. Han kom till jobbet och testade mig, så det är vad det är, man.
“Det här är häftigt, man. Det är vad jag svettar och dödar mig själv i gymmet för. Den här vinsten betyder världen för mig.
“Han skadade mig aldrig ikväll. Vi stannade tålmodig. Detta är den största vinsten i min karriär, men jag vilar inte förrän jag får en titel.
“Jag ska slåss mot den nästa. Jag kommer snart tillbaka i gymmet och gör mig redo för vem som helst framför mig nästa.
“Att slåss om ett Premier Boxing Champions-kort är fantastiskt. Jag är tacksam för att få tillfället och jag hoppas att jag är tillbaka i PBC-striderna igen.”

Juni 12 PBC i Bounce TV-serien rubrikeras av en strid mellan spännande weltervikter Phil Lo Greco och Joseph Elegele. Televised täckning börjar på 9 p.m. OCH/PT och kommer att ha obesegrade australiska utsikter Steve Lovett och tuff utmanare Craig Baker i en lätt tungvikt kraftmätning.
