This week on the FNU Combat Sports Show, we discuss the latest news in MMA and boxing, recap the past week’s events and preview the upcoming events this week. We also discuss Walter “2 Guns” Wright winning his main event fight against Mark DeLuca a couple days after we interviewed him last week. Wright’s split decision win came in part due to a persistent jab that frustrated DeLuca and left him bloodied, bruised and exhausted by the final bell. Of course bringing up this fact gets us all going on the absolute necessity of the jab in any combat sports fighter’s toolbox.

Demetrius Andrade Goes To Harvard

PROVIDENCE (Novembris 4, 2015) – Pagājušajā ceturtdienas vakarā, undefeated super welterweight Demetrius “Boo Boo” Andrade (22-0, 15 Kos) tika godināti ar Hārvarda klubs savā ikgadējā Fight Night in Boston Back Bay.
27 gadus vecais Andrade, cīnoties no Providence, is a former world super welterweight champion. The sensational southpaw was a 2008 Neatrodas ASV. Olimpietis un 2007 AIBA Pasaules čempionāts zelta medaļu.
“Tas bija lieliski, ka tās strādā Hārvardas klubā ar tik daudziem veiksmīgiem cilvēkiem tur atbalstot boksa,” Andrade said. “Es biju pateicīgs par tām parāda tik daudz interese mani.”
