“He estado esperando una pelea.

No hablo mucho.

Atlantic City, Nueva Jersey (Junio 8, 2017)–contendiente de peso welter, Thomas “Copo de maíz” LaManna feels that he is on the brink of a breakthrough win, and he is looking to fight a big name later this Summer that will help catapult himself up the rankings, and on his way to a world title shot.
Este sábado noche en El Claridge Hotel en Atlantic City, he first must get through 54-fight veteran Carlos Winston Velasquez in the eight-round main event of a card promoted by Rising Promotions.
LaManna, 22-2 with nine knockouts of Millville, Nueva Jersey, will be looking for his 2nd consecutive win, and a win over Velasquez would set up a coveted fight with highly thought of foe.
I am looking forward to a great fight on Saturday. I am not taking Velasquez lightly as he is a tough veteran who has had 54 peleas,” dijo LaManna. “Después de ganar, I want something big. Myself and Rising Promotions have regional title bouts in mind. Fights with Zab Judah and Kermit Cintron have been brought up. The ultimate goal is to get world rated, and climb up the ladder with meaningful fights that I would like to take place in Atlantic City.
Because I have two losses, I get calls all the time to be an opponent. I don’t look at myself as being one. I am one of the biggest, if not the biggest tickets seller in New Jersey, with a tremendous fan base, and myself and my Rising Promotions team would like to capitalize on that and move me along like a real promotional company is supposed to move a fighter. Atlantic City is a great fight town, and I think that we can bring the type of bouts back to the boardwalk that made this town the mecca of boxing that it once was. I think a fight with a big name opponent later this Summer would create great buzz in the Atlantic City boxing scene, and it would keep me moving towards my goal of being a world champion.

Desde que sufrió su única mancha profesional, la 28 year-old Pham of Atlantic City, New Jersey has stopped his two previous opponents.
Pham believes he will only get better as his trainer, Chuck Eisenbeis will be back in his corner after being absent from Pham’s last couple of bouts.
It is good to have him back. He taught me everything that I know,” said Pham. “We have been working on footwork, and my jab. I have seen the improvement everyday. Chuck has been working with some UFC fighters and it is great to have him back.
In Perez he is taking on a durable fighter, who has faced many top prospects, 13 undefeated fighters and a world champion in Jermall Charlo.
He is a Puerto Rican. I know he is tough as I am Puerto Rican as well. El ha 27 peleas, so that is three-times more than I have. He is experienced and he goes rounds for the most part. I have seen some film where can be slick, so I have to be cautious of that. He estado trabajando duro, so I am confident that I will get the job done.
With a win, Pham can see himself getting into contention for some regional title opportunities.
A win will set me up for a step up fight. I will discuss that with my manager after this fight. I am happy where I am at as this will be the 3rd fight this year for me and this is by far the busiest stretch of my career. I am looking to impress the fans and keep doubling the expectations with each fight. This will be a top-shelf performance. I want to stop this guy. I don’t go in looking for it, but if I see that I have him staggered or hurt, I will try to get him out of there.

“Todo va bien,”dijo Barrett. “My focus has been on boxing, and since my last boxing match, I have been focusing more on strength and conditioning plus my diet. Fans will see a bigger version of me. You can really see the transformation as I been concentrating a lot on what I eat and meal prepping on my Facebook and Instagram accounts.

La 11 month layoff was not something that Barrett wanted. He was scheduled to fight during the summer, but opponents have been hard to come by.
I am always looking at opportunities to fight. Yo Tuve 7 o 8 opponents fall through on me, so I took the MMA fight in September.
Going back and forth between boxing isn’t a problem for Barrett as he has a gameplan on how he bides his time between the 2 Deportes.
It all depends on the opportunity. I make more money in MMA, but I am very interested in boxing. After this fight there could be some boxing opportunities in China, so I am still gathering all the information on that.
This will be Barrett’s 3rd consecutive fight on the boardwalk, and that is conducive for his fans in Little Egg Harbor, which is just up the coast on the Jersey Shore.
“Mi trabajo es pelear, but it is always great to have the fans and support. Cuando toca la campana, It’s only me and him in there, but to have my fans there gives me more motivation. I am looking for an exciting and explosive fight en sábado.”

Atlantic City, Nueva Jersey (Septiembre 14, 2016)– Welter, Antonio “Jugo” Joven will look for his third consecutive victory when he takes on Malik Jackson in a battle of New Jersey based fighters as one of the undercard bouts this Thursday nighal 2300 Arena en Filadelfia.
Young of Atlantic City won his first ten bouts and after his current two-fight streak will enter the ring with a record of 13-2 con cinco knockouts.
I had a really good camp and great sparring with (ligero) Anthony Burgin & Victor Padilla.
En Jackson, he is facing a fighter with a very deceiving 3-9-4 registro. He has had several questionable decisions not go in his favor, so Young expects a fight that will not be a gimme.
I do not know much about him other than t\him being a scrappy fighter who is coming to win. I know he is from New Jersey, but it doesn’t matter where he is from. He could be from Switzerland for all I care.
This will be the third bout that Young will have championship trainer Raul “chino” Rivas, and Young already has seen the improvements with his new coach.
I will display what I have been working on with Chino. I want to thank my team for this opportunity on this card.
Said Rivas, “This will be our third fight together. He is getting better with every fight. I am excited to see him fight el jueves. He has worked hard and is getting sharper. He is able to spar eight and ten rounds now.
I know Jackson a little bit as I am originally from North Jersey. My son beat him in the amateurs He is tall and his record doesn’t justify who he is. He has been overmatched. But I have noticed that he doesn’t use his jab and he doesnt have the heart when you press him. We have been using Juice’s angles and combinations and slowly we have been to eliminate bad habits. He is smart, a hard worker and disciplined and his best boxing is ahead of him.
“Antonio “Jugo” Young will attempt to continue building his already impressive career,”said long time manager, Rich Cars. “we are very confident in our current team. Head trainer Raul “chino” Rivas has been doing as excellent job with Juice. I’ve seen Juice grow in every aspect , both inside and out of the ringsays Masini.
He seems to have a great chemistry with Chino as well as Chino’s team. It’s easy with a kid like Juice, he is great to work with, we have a great team around him including his dad, Teany. We realize we have a tough opponent in front of us on September 15th but Juice is ready to go and take care of businesssays Masini.
Masini adds R.I.P Pati Masini Love you sister.
