Januari 22, 2018 – Victory and Now Boxing Promotions’ prospects are staying busy in the new year. The promotions’ top prospect, Jaron “Boots” Ennis (17-0, 15KO) is back in action this Fredag, January 26th in his hometown of Philadelphia. Den 20 year old boxer, widely considered the best prospect in Philadelphia, will appear on the Real Deal Boxing card at Sugarhouse Casino. Brian Norman Jr., son of super middleweight Brian Norman (17-11, 5KO) av Atlanta, won in his professional debut in Houston på lördag, och Christian Montano advanced to 4-0 (4KO) on the same card. All three fighters are managed by Cameron Dunkin och främjas av Chris Middendorf of Victory Boxing Promotions, och Joseph Dunkin of Now Boxing Promotions.

Welterweight Brian Norman, Jr, who is trained by his father, dropped Kire Lucas (0-3) with a body shot before finishing him with another body shot in one minute, 31 sekunder av den första rundan. Montano also finished his opponent in the first round, stopping the experienced Keith Collins with a hook to the body, and straight right to the head at the 1:06 märke.

Denna fredag, “Boots” will face rugged Mexico City talent Gustavo Garibay (13-9, 5KO), who is the Mexican Super Welterweight Champion, and is a former WBC Latino Super Welterweight Champion. It’s the second fight in the United States for Garibay, his last being a loss to Zhankosh Turarov (22-0, 15KO) in Boca Raton.

Ennis, who trains with his father, former fighter Derrick “Bozy” Ennis in Philadelphia, last fought in December at the 2300 Arena, where he knocked out George Sosa inside of two rounds. The young pugilist is moving quickly, and fought nine times in 2017. Ennis is three months shy of his 21st birthday. Dunkin and Middendorf may not get him to 21 wins by his 21st birthday, but both feel certain that 2018 will be the real ‘coming out’ year for the young talent.

“We always like to have Boots fight at home,” said Victory Boxing Promotions founder and Promoter Christopher Middendorf. “He’s getting great experience with veterans like Garibay. This is the first champion-caliber fighter he’s faced, and we’ll get to see how he handles that. I’m hoping the Philly boxing fans get out to support him.”

VICTORY BOXING RETURNS TO PHILADELPHIA WITH PHILLY STRONG

FILADELFIA – Augusti 18, 2017 – Victory Boxing Promotions has found a new home in Philadelphia. The growing promotional outfit will make its return to the City of Brotherly love, and re-launch its Philly Strong series at the 23rd Street Armory in Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia on October 21st.

The card will be headlined by Jaron “Boots” Ennis (14-0, 12KO), who has racked up an impressive six wins in 2017 ensam. It was recently announced that Ennis, who is trained by his father Bozy Ennis, and managed by mega-manager Cameron Dunkin, will be honored at Philadelphia’s Briscoe Awards for the third time. He will take home 2016 Rookie of the Year honors, just days before he steps into the ring in front of his home town for the first time since June. After stopping veteran Wilfredo Acuna in the first round in that fight, Ennis has fought twice more – once in Durham, North Carolina, and once in Washington D.C.

“Without question, Boots is one of the best young fighters in the country,” said Victory Boxing Promotions Founder and Promoter, Chris Middendorf. “We have kept him extremely busy, fighting him 14 times since his debut on April 30th last year. We have done this because of his skills, and his rapid development. He has impressed each time we’ve put a challenge in front of him. We are considering several opponents for him for October 21st, all of whom will be solid tests.” Middendorf added that Boots would be fighting at least once more before October 21st.

Several other Victory Boxing prospects will showcase their talents that evening at 23rd Street Armory, including Adam Daranyi (12-0, 11 KO), who was a standout amateur and national champion in his home country of Canada. Korean-Mexican sensation and former amateur standout Brandun Lee (5-0, 4KO), who is coming off a 2nd round knockout win in DC last weekend, will fight at Philly Strong, and local favorite Joshua Jones (4-0-1, 2KO) will don his gloves in front of his home crowd. All three fighters are also managed by Cameron Dunkin, who has managed 34 champions in his 30+ years in the boxing business.

“We are very excited to re-launch Philly Strong at the 23rd Street Armory,” said Middendorf. “It is the oldest armory in the United States, and will be a great host for world class boxing. The Armory hasn’t seen boxing since 2003, and we plan on making October 21st a night to remember.

BRANDUN LEE AND ADAM DARANYI RACK UP WINS IN NORTH CAROLINA

Fighters to return to the East Coast in two weeks
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA – Augusti 1, 2017 – Two of Victory Boxing Promotions’ top prospects saw action in North Carolina Lördag, and both ended the night with their hands raised. Junior Welterweight prospect, and standout amateur Brandun Lee (4-0, 3KO) dominated Donavin Battle over four rounds to cruise to a unanimous decision win (40-36, 40-35, 40-35). Adam Daranyi, Jr. (12-0, 11KO)’s Junior Middleweight bout versus veteran Andre Baker ended early, with Daranyi stopping the game fighter in under two rounds. Both fighters are managed by Cameron Dunkin.

It was the fourth bout for Lee since he impressed in a first round knockout in his January debut earlier this year. He controlled the action throughout the fight, knocking Battle down in the 2nd round. The accomplished amateur (181-9), who hails from Coachella and was described as a “prodigy” by Ring Magazine at only eleven years old, is planning to step back into the ring on August 12th inz Washington DC.

Canadian Junior Middleweight Adam Daranyi impressed in his third outing of 2017, knocking down a very game Andre Baker three times en route to a third round stoppage. Daranyi’s range of talent was on display throughout the bout. Using his size, distance and reach to full advantage, den 22 year old Daranyi, who stands at 6’1″, floored his opponent with a left hook, a body shot, and a right hook en route to his stoppage victory.

“We are very excited about these two prospects,” said Victory Boxing Promotions’ Chris Middendorf. “They will both continue to be busy this summer and fall. Lee is coming back quickly in D.C. på August 12th, and Daranyi a couple weeks later in Virginia. They will both also be fighting multiple times in Philadelphia this fall.” Added Middendorf, “We will be announcing our new series there soon.”

Clark i Dallas, Texas har snabbt blivit en av de skarpaste unga sinnen i boxning branschen och kommer från en stellar 2014 där han ledde fighters som James De La Rosa till framträdanden på Floyd Mayweather – Marcos Maidana II card där han besegrade förre världsmästaren Alfredo Angulo samt en December kamp på HBO Boxing After Dark.
En annan klient, Jerry Belmontes kämpade WBC Lätt mästare Omar Figueroa på Showtime Championship Boxing i en match där de flesta människor som tittade kampen trodde Belmontes hade vunnit ett beslut om att fånga bältet men förlorade via delad beslut.
“Det var en fantastisk upplevelse att göra en mini dokumentär. Även om fokus var själv, kämparna jag arbetar för att få bra exponering även. Namn och nominellt värde är mycket viktigt när man försöker marknads idrottare så när du ser mig, du mina grabbar. När du mina grabbar, du ser mig, även om vi inte är där i fysisk form, vi alla representerar varandra. Titta dokumentären tvingade mig att stanna upp och beundra vad jag har gjort och vad dessa idrottare gör,” sade Clark
“In five years & vid 28 years old now, Jag vill att tror jag har gjort ett ganska bra jobb, särskilt arbeta med mig själv utan stöd. Jag hoppar De la Rosa fri från Don King, sedan fick honom 2 stora slagsmål på Showtime PPV och HBO. Han gjorde mer pengar i 2 slagsmål än hela sin karriär kombinerade. I negotiated a world title shot fight for Belmontes, tjäna honom mest pengar i hans karriär. Jag arbetade för att få Ray Ximenez fri från en dålig PR kontrakt och aktiv igen, på väg till större slagsmål.
