**CORONA, SOWIE (April 13, 2021)** - **Thompson Boxing Promotions** returns on Sunday, 18. April, 2021, with yet another action-packed night of fights as 3.2.1. Boxing returns with three exciting bouts. Former super lightweight world title contender, **Peter “Zar” Petrov** (41-6-2, 22 KOs), who was scheduled to open up the show, is now off the card.

The 8-round main event featuring **Ruben “Ace” Torres** (14-0, 11 KOs) vs. **Diego Contreras** (11-3, 5 KOs), will remain intact. The 8-round co-main event will now showcase Mexican power puncher, **Miguel “El Explosivo” Madueño** (22-0, 20 KOs) vs. **Bergman Aguilar** (15-6-1, 5 KOs). The opening bout will stage TBP’s **George “El YuYu” Acosta** (10-1, 1 KO) vs. **Edgar “Pito Lupillo” Ramirez** (17-16-1, 14 KOs) in super lightweight bout scheduled for 6-rounds.

The Four Kings rose to fame as the presidency of Jimmy Carter and economic recession gave way to the boon of 1980s capitalism and excess harnessed by the administrations of Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Busch. Through in-depth interviews and archival footage, the series also examines the very personal battles that each man waged on his unique journey to the center of the sports world.

Following a brief fallow period in the wake of Ali’s retirement, boxing was revitalized when Leonard became a world champion in 1979 and waged his first battle with Durán in 1980. From that point, the Four Kings engaged in a decade-long run of riveting fights that far outperformed any other sport in attention and revenue. They were the most popular stars of sports and American culture.

Von 1979 durch 1985, as a mark of their incredible achievements, the Boxing Writers Association of America bestowed these men the coveted title of “Fighter of the Year” annually with the lone exception of 1982 – with Leonard, Hagler and Hearns each winning twice. **Uncasville, Conn. - April 10, 2021 -** Aufstrebender Star im Weltergewicht **Jaron "Stiefel" Ennis** aced the toughest test of his professional career with a sensational sixth-round knockout win over former world champion **Sergey Lipinets** in the main event on Saturday night’s SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING telecast, live auf SHOWTIME von der Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., in einem Premier Boxing Champions Event.

The win puts Philadelphia’s Ennis (27-0, 25 KOs) one step closer to his first world title opportunity as he dismantled the former 140-pound world champion over six rounds of their welterweight battle. As he has done often throughout his career, the 23-year-old switched effortlessly between an orthodox and southpaw stance and exhibited tremendous power from both sides. Ennis finished the fight with an eye-popping 53% connect rate on his power punches and out-landed Lipinets 91 bis 48.

“I’ll always be hard on myself when I look back at my performance,“ sagte Ennis. “My goal is to keep getting better, sharper, faster and stronger so I can become world champion. As long as I keep fighting top guys, Ich bin froh. I feel like I will be world champion by the end of this year or beginning of next year. Patience is the key though.”

“Lipinets has been in there with the best before, so I wasn’t surprised he held up for a while,” added Ennis. “I knew he’d be durable. That’s why I didn’t jump on the gas right away. I just took my time and broke him down.”

Stanionis outlanded the 31-year-old Dulorme 232 bis 193 and edged his opponent with higher connection percentages across the board. Most notably, Stanionis worked well behind his powerful jab, Landung 123 total throughout the 12-round fight.

“Dulorme always threw back at me, even if I hurt him,” stated Stanionis, who is one step closer to becoming Lithuania’s first world champion. “I knew that if I was wild, he could have caught me with a good shot. I have more confidence in myself now because I know I can go 12 rounds with a good fighter. I know how the pressure will hit me now. The title fight featured back-and-forth action with Mexico’s Rodriguez pressuring and baiting the champion to fight him at close distance. At the end of the eighth round, Ancajas finished a flurry of punches with a huge right hand that sent Rodriguez to the canvas for the first time in his career.

“I thought he was going to be stopped because I saw him look at his corner and it didn’t look like he wanted to go on,” continued Ancajas. “But he got up and fought and I respect him for doing that.”

The ringside judges scored the fight 115-112, 116-111 und 117-110 for Ancajas, while unofficial ringside scorer Steve Farhood tallied the fight at 114-113. Farhood agreed with the three official judges in giving the final three rounds to Rodriguez. “It was very sweet [to get revenge]. It was a gauge to see how far I’ve grown, seit 2012. And I’ve done a lot, and he’s done a lot. So to go out there and implement my game plan and stick to what we do and go out there and be victorious, it couldn’t be sweeter.”

PHILADELPHIA (APRIL 8, 2021)–Former Boxcino Heavyweight champion, und, current contender, **Andrey Fedosov** returns to action when he takes on Mahammadrasul Majidov on Saturday, April 17th at The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Fedosov of Shuya, Russland, will be making his first ring appearance of 2021, and has a record of 31-3 mit 25 Knockouts.

The former Boxcino champion, who began his career in his native country, has been very successful when taking his career stateside, as he has a record of 12-2 mit 11 Knockouts, which includes scoring three knockout victories to win the Boxcino Heavyweight title

Fedosov, who is promoted by Banner Promotions and Newsboy Boxing, is a former WBO Intercontinental and WBA Fedlatin Heavyweight champion.

Mojidov is 3-0 with three and knockouts, and is a three-time world amateur champion.

“I am excited to be back in the ring. The Pandemic held me back, but I am ready to go on April 17th. I know my opponent was a decorated amateur, but I am a very experienced professional. That will be the difference on fight night,” sagte Fedosov

**QUEBEC CITY, Ontario, Kanada** (März 24, 2021) – Fresh off his recent third-round stoppage of **Sylvera “Sly” Louis** in ihren Rückkampf, World Boxing Council (WBC) Unterlassen Sie. 1 rated bridgerweight **Oscar "Kaboom" Rivas** (27-1, 19 KOs) is on a special mission to not only become the first bridgerweight world champion but capture the world heavyweight crown as well.

I can only assume that they consider I am too dangerous for them. Rivas still has unfinished business with Whyte, who is the only pro to defeat Rivas, albeit under questionable circumstances. Im vergangenen August, Whyte won a 12-round unanimous decision, after been knockdown with an uppercut in the 9^th Runde, in their vacant WBC Interim heavyweight title fight, but prior to their fight, unbeknownst to Team Rivas, Whyte had apparently tested positive for a banned substance during training camp. A UK Anti-Doping investigation somehow later cleared Whyte of any wrongdoings.

Im vergangenen August, Whyte was knocked out in the fifth round by **Alexander Povetkin** in their WBC Interim title fight and Povetkin will defend his title this weekend in Gibraltar versus Whyte.

Oscar Rivas can’t wait to let his fists go “Kaboom” on his next opponent, whomever and whenever that is, as he continues his special mission.

Dicaire (17-1) erlitt ihre erste Niederlage als Profi und im Boxen, das oft in die eine oder andere Richtung führt: Lernen Sie aus der Gesamterfahrung und verbessern Sie sich als Boxer oder kämpfen Sie weiter als ehemaliger Weltmeister auf der Jagd nach Gelegenheiten.

Ich bin ein Überflieger. Ich kann nicht ruhen, wenn ich weiß, dass ich verloren habe. Ich musste die Arbeit erledigen, um echte Ferien zu genießen. Ich weiß, dass ich bald wieder im Ring stehen werde.“

**Guadalajara, Mexiko (März 30, 2021)** – It is Official!! — The Legend Anderson Silva has agreed to fight Julio Chavez Jr. in “Tribute to the Kings” in a boxing match on Saturday June 19th to be broadcast on Pay Per View in North America.

Anderson Silva, considered by many to be the greatest MMA fighter of all time, will take on former WBC Middleweight Champion of the world Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. in a boxing match on June 19th at Jalisco Stadium in Guadalajara, Mexiko. Silva of Curitiba Brazil was the longest reigning middleweight Champion for the UFC and compiled a record of 34 victories with 11 Verluste und 23 stunning knockouts. His boxing record is 13 - 1. “This promises to be an epic battle between two superior fighters with a global fan base. Everyone associated with this Pay-Per-View promotion, and fight fans from around the globe are super enthusiastic to see these two great fighters meet in the ring,” said Keith Schoen. Anderson Silva is represented by ICM Partners, and managed by Talize Sayegh of Ducais Talent Management.

Said Jorge Toscano of Toscano Promotions, “We are excited to complete this deal and bring an entertaining night of boxing for the combat sport community.”

Fellow co-promoter Saul Rios of Borizteca Boxing said, “Anderson Silva is the greatest MMA fighter, and a great boxer so to have him fight Chavez Jr. for his first fight after leaving the UFC makes for an intriguing night of boxing.”
