Undefeated Super Flyweight Dylan “The Real Dyl” Price reflects on Briscoe Award and upcoming April 21st fight

PHILADELPHIA (März 15, 2018)–It will be a busy few weeks for undefeated super flyweight prospect Dylan “The Real Dyl” Preis.
Die 19 year-old native of Sicklerville, New Jersey who has a perfect mark of 5-0 with all of his wins coming via knockout (Einschließlich 4 in the 1st round) will be on-hand at the 11th annual Briscoe Awards to accept the prestigious Rookie of the Year award.
The Awards Ceremony will take place on Sonntag, March 25th at the VBA Clubhouse at 2733 Clearfield Street in Philadelphia.

It is rare to see a match between two young prospects on the rise this early in their careers, but Dulay and Colbert are both eager for that challenge. März, 2018) – Dominican Featherweight prospect, Braulio Rodriguez (19-2, 17KO), makes his return to the ring on Samstag, March 17th, 2018 gegen Christopher Diaz (22-0, 14KO) from Barranquitas, Puerto Rico. The ten-round bout will take place at Madison Square Garden Theater in New York, New York and will be for the WBO-NABO Super Featherweight title. The show will be promoted by Top Rank.
After a year and a half layoff, Rodriguez is excited to be back in the ring. Rodriguez was recently signed to a three-year promotional deal by Real Deal Boxing and also a managerial agreement by El Matador Management.

JARON ENNIS IS THE ONE TO WATCH IN PHILLY

PHILADELPHIA – Twenty year old welterweight boxer Jaron “Boots” Ennis will honored as “The One to Watch” am 11th Annual Briscoe Awards auf März 25, 2018. Ennis, currently 18-0, 16 KOs, has been turning heads ever since he turned professional in 2016. After less than two years as a professional, Boots has convinced local boxing fans that he’s destined to become a world champion.
“Ennis has every Philly boxing fan excited,” said John DiSanto, founder of the Briscoe Awards. “He is the real thing and at the rate he’s going, he’ll be fighting for the title in another year.”
Ennis is no stranger to the Briscoe Awards. He won the “Amateur des Jahres” vor zwei Jahren, and was named the “Rookie des Jahres” letztes jahr. He returns to the Briscoe stage on March 25th to receive his third acknowledgement by Philly Boxing History.
The Briscoe Awards commemorate the biggest and best accomplishments of the Philly-area boxing scene. Undefeated Junior Lightweight Michael Dutchover back in action this Saturday night

PHILADELPHIA, PENN./ORANGE, Calif. (März 13, 2018)- An diesem Samstag Nacht am Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, Kalifornien, budding junior lightweight talent Michael Dutchover (7-0, 5 KOs) headlines the first show of his young career when he faces Ricardo Lopez (7-1-2, 6 KOs).
Dutchover, 20, hails from Midland, Tex. but moved to the Los Angeles area last year to take advantage of the rich sparring that the region offers. The former amateur standout is making his first start of the year against a fellow prospect in Lopez who will be eager to give him a fight.
“There’s no doubt that Lopez is thinking upset,” said Dutchover, who is trained and managed by Danny Zamora. “I won’t let him do anything that he wants to do. I plan to dominate the fight. It’s my first main event as a professional so there’s added motivation to give the fans an excellent show.”
All signs point to Dutchover delivering the goods on Saturday night. In the lead up to this fight, he spent several weeks in Guadalajara, Mex. sparring with world champion Oscar Valdez.
“Spending time with the Valdez camp was an incredible experience,” Dutchover said. “I learned a lot from Valdez. The sparring sessions are what everyone wants to talk about, but it was more than that for me. Just seeing how he conducted himself and how focused he was. That left a lasting impression on me.”
Dutchover is co-promoted by Banner Promotions and Thompson Boxing.
Thompson Boxing will livestream the main event and the full card on “TB Presents” beginnend an 7:00 PM PT. The livestream can be found on the Thompson Boxing facebook page, or on its website at ThompsonBoxing.com.

Agbeko-Blakey tops St. Patrick’s Day Fight Night in Nashville

Nashville, TN (März 13, 2018) – Light heavyweight knockout king Sena “African Assassin” Agbeko will headline Tri-Star Boxing’s special edition of “Fight at the Fairgrounds” when he battles Lawrence Blakey Samstag, März 17 at the Fairground Sports Arena in Nashville, TN.
Tickets can be purchased by going to tristarboxing.com/tickets and doors open at 6 pm. The card is brought to you in association with Blue Chair Bay Rum.
Hailing from Ghana and fighting out of Nashville, Agbeko’s impressive professional ledger reads 20-1 mit 18 Siege durch KO. The 26-year-old has become a local favorite and Samstag marks his third fight in the Music City. He most recently defeated veteran Anthony Bowman via 2ndround stoppage in January.
Standing across the ring will be Pennsylvania’s Lawrence Blakey. A tough luck fighter with a 5-8-2 record and two wins by KO, Blakey’s been victimized by questionable judging. His last four defeats came via split or majority decision and he’s faced six unbeaten foes. Im November 2017, Blakey outpointed Joe Paintiff (12-3) über einstimmigen Beschluss.
The Agbeko-Blakey fight is scheduled for six rounds.

Atlantic City, New Jersey (März 12, 2018)–Chazz Witherspoon raised his winning streak to eight in a row as he went the eight-round distance by won a unanimous decision over Lamont Capers that headlined a seven-bout card at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.
Die Show, which took place this past Samstag, was promoted by Mis Downing Promotions and Silverspoon Promotions.
Witherspoon was able to outpoint the crafty Capers. Capers was very competitive, but it was Witherspoon’s size and harder punches that proved to be the difference as he captured the via 78-74, 78-74 und 77-75 Partituren.
Witherspoon von Paulsboro, NJ ist jetzt 37-3. Kapern, who was fighting for the 2nd time in seven days ist 9-12-4.
Willis Lockett took a six-round majority decision over Prince Badi Ajamu in a cruiserweight bout.

Prior to Smith hosting his cards at Michael’s Eighth, Scott Wagner’s Ballroom Boxing ran more than 70 successful shows over a 15 year period. His series was a major hit and he featured many fighters that went onto become world champions such as Terence Crawford, Hasim Rahman, Kermit Cintron, Orlin Norris and Al Cole. A longtime friend of Smith, Wagner stopped promoting in 2009 and graciously offered the family-owned Michael’s Eighth to Baltimore Boxing Promotions.
Februar 16, Wagner passed away at age 49.
“Scott was one of my closest friends and I was devastated by his untimely passing,", Sagte Smith, who co-promoted with Wagner and also fought for him in 1996. “He ran one of the most successful promotions for more than a decade and did right by the fighters.
Scott Wagner the person was even better than the promoter. He always helped other people and his experience assisted me in expanding Baltimore Boxing Promotions. I am forever thankful and will always have a place in my heart for Scott Wagner.”
Headlining this Olympic style boxing event is a grudge match between Deshawn “Soulsnatcher” Chase and Ocean City, MD’s Omar Serrano for the East Coast Middleweight title. One of Baltimore Boxing’s top prospects, Chase looks for redemption against the only man to defeat him.

Along with honoring Wagner, Baltimore Boxing is hosting a fundraiser for Brenda Davis. The wife of legendary trainer Adrian Davis, Brenda’s battled health complications that have severely impacted her. All proceeds from the fundraiser will help cover Davis’ healthcare costs.

Middleweight Cem Kilic remains undefeated with 2nd round stoppage

Beverly Hills, Calif. (März. 12, 2018) – Middleweight Cem Kilic remained perfect with a 2nd round stoppage over veteran Taronze Washington in Hinckley, Minnesota this past Friday.
The native of Los Angles via Frankfurt, Germany put Washington down with a hard body shot, and the bout was stopped to raise Kilic’s mark to 10-0 mit sechs Knockouts.
“Bin ich 10-0 jetzt, and I cant ell you how excited I am to get the early knockout in front of my adopted American fans,” Said Kilic. “Taronze was a tough opponent, but I trained too hard for this fight not to get the early knockout. 2018 ist mein Jahr, and I am putting the middleweight division on notice. I trust my manager to get the opportunity to showcase my talent to the entire world.”
Kilic wird von No Limit Mindset LLC verwaltet, and CEO Shane Shapiro is extremely confident in the direct that his fighter is heading.
