Split-T Management Signs 5 time NY Daily News Golden Gloves Champion and 2017 US National Welterweight Champion Brian Ceballo

New York, New York (Mars 19, 2018)–Split-T Management is proud to announce the signing of 5-time New York Golden Gloves champion and 2017 United States Amateur champion Brian Ceballo à un contrat de gestion.

 

 

 

 

 

Le 24 year-old is a native of Brooklyn, New York had a stellar amateur career that saw him win 17 National championships beginning at 11 years old when he won the National Silver Gloves championship.

 

 

 

 

Ceballo, who began boxing at 8 years-old won 11 National titles as a junior and 6 National titles as a senior which includes the 2016 National Golden Gloves title, 2017 United States National Title.

 

 

 

 

Ceballo also captured the 2014 World Series of Boxing Team Trials, and was a Olympic trials semifinalist.

 

 

 

 

Outre la boxe, Ceballo is a well rounded individual as he plays the piano, guitar, and has been singing since he was 15 âgé.

 

 

 

 

“Brian has been the top amateur welterweight in New York, as well as the United States for the past several years. He has proven time and time again that he is an elite fighter and I’m glad he decided to have Split-T Management guide his professional career to the top of the welterweight division,” said Split-T Management CEO David McWater.

 

 

 

 

“I first met (CEO of Split-T Management) David McWater at the 2016 Golden Gloves nationales, which I won. I wasn’t ready to turn professional, but we talked. Russian Bantamweight Contender Nikolai Potapov Returns with TKO over Saltykov

Former NABO Champion and #2-rated WBO bantamweight contender Nikolai Potapov returned to action last Saturday night with a TKO 3 over his Russian countryman, Alexander Saltykov.

Fighting at the Floyd Mayweather Boxing Academy in Zhukovka, Russie, Potapov looked sharp while forcing Saltykov to stay on his stool after two rounds of pounding.
The 28-year-old Potapov holds a victory over former world title challenger Antonio Nieves and fought to a draw with Stephen Young, who is fighting for WBA Interim title this weekend.
“I am excited to get the win and look forward to challenging the best bantamweights in the world,” said Potapov, d'après-combat. “Every experience is a lesson and I keep improving with each fight and training camp. Training in Detroit at the Kronk Boxing Gym with Javan Sugar Hill Steward has taken my game to the next level. I am grateful to my promoters Salita Promotions and PBL. Ville des Plantes, FL (Mars 16, 2018) – World rated middleweight Yamaguchi Falcao returns to the ring Samedi, Mars 31 against rugged Colombian Richard “La Lamina” Gutierrez in an eight round contest at the Marina Bay Sportsplex in Quincy, MA.
Born and raised in Brazil but now fighting out of Plant City, FL under head trainer Jose Rodriguez, Falcao captured a Bronze Medal at the London Olympics in 2012. 29-year-old southpaw Young says that while Gaballo obviously has some strength to have such a high KO percentage, he is too green to be in the ring with a fighter at his level and experience.

ICYMI: When U.K.-based YouTube star KSI was in need of boxing expertise and guidance, he turned to two-time world champion Badou Jack “The Ripper,” embedding with Team Jack and trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. for a week-long training regimen at Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas.
Jack, who last fought on August 26, 2017 and knocked out Nathan Cleverly on the televised undercard of the record-breaking Mayweather vs. McGregor fight card at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas was back in the gym preparing for his upcoming bout.
