El Divendres, Juliol 6, Honolulu’s undefeated Logan “The Korican Kid” Yoon (11-0, 10 KOs) will attempt to continue his meteoric rise up the 140-lb. ladder when he faces capable Colombian veteran Luis E. Flors (24-9, 20 KOs) at Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino a Hollywood, Fla.

 

 

 

The 10-round fight will serve as the evening’s co-main event of Heavyweight Factory Boxing promoter Kris Lawrence’s “Hometown Throwdown,” followed by a 10-round crosstown rivalry showdown between undefeated Miami-based welterweights Harold “King” Calderon (16-0, 10 KOs) and John David “Pretty Boy” Martinez (10-0, 8 KOs).

 

Tickets for “Hometown Throwdown” cost $60, $100, $150, $250 i $500 VIP. Tickets are available through ticketmaster.com.

 

 

 

The promising 19-year-old Yoon, the WBO-NABO Youth Super Lightweight Champion and WBO #13-rated contender, was last seen in March, dominating former two-time world champion Juan Carlos Salgado over 10 rondes. Yoon was expected to be pushed for the first time in his young career, but cruised to an easy decision (puntuacions: 100-89, 97-92 i 98-91).

 

 

 

“I have a lot of confidence in my team and our game plan, so I wasn’t surprised at all I was able to dominate,” said Yoon. “I knew that would happen. I work hard and stay disciplined.”

 

 

 

Yoon says he’s continuing to learn as he streaks up the ranks. Already world-rated after 11 baralles, the talented puncher says despite the buzz around him growing louder with every fight, he feels no extra pressure to impress.

 

 

 

“I’m confident in the abilities I’ve been blessed with, so I feel no pressure. I live a clean life and stay right with the Lord and follow His plan for me.”

 

 

 

Yoon says he knows Flores is tall with a strong left hook, but expects to be victorious once again.

 

 

 

“Logan is an amazing talent,” said Heavyweight Factory Director of Boxing Operations Henry Rivalta. “He’s still just a kid and already so strong and powerful. That’s why we are moving him along so quickly. He trains right and lives right to become a world champion.”

Notícies WBO: Es va celebrar a Chicago un altre seminari dels funcionaris de boxa amb èxit

L’Organització Mundial de la Boxa i la Comissió Atlètica de l’Estat d’Illinois van concloure un seminari d’entrenament amb èxit per als funcionaris de boxa al Garfield Park - Golden Dome, Chicago, Illinois.

 

 

 

Aquest esdeveniment va tractar diferents temes, com ara l’àrbitre, jutjar, normes, i ètica; El seminari va seguir un format interactiu amb la finalitat de donar als funcionaris de Ring el coneixement necessari, Confiança i experiència per executar un bon judici d’un partit de boxa.

 

 

 

John Duggan, Primer vicepresident del WBO, va afirmar que alguns dels objectius d'aquests esdeveniments són "millorar la qualitat de l'oficial" i va destacar la importància dels funcionaris d'anells d'entrenament creuats per assegurar -se que es prenguin les decisions correctes durant un partit de boxa, "L'ofici correcte és important per assegurar -se que el guanyador adequat i mereixedor sigui nomenat en una lluita".

 

 

 

Mentrestant, L’àrbitre Celestino Ruiz i l’antic àrbitre Gino Rodriguez van dur; la necessitat de tenir un coneixement adequat de les regles i situar -se correctament durant una lluita.

 

 

 

L’ètica i la professionalitat també es van cobrir, com a aspectes fonamentals en el desenvolupament d’una carrera com a funcionari de la boxa.

 

 

 

Els vídeos es van utilitzar per exemplificar, Analitzar i desglossar diferents decisions durant un partit de boxa, Això és important per ajudar els participants a comprendre alguns dels escenaris que poden haver de fer front, els ofereix la possibilitat d'aclarir dubtes i alhora posar a prova els seus coneixements.

 

 

 

L'OMB valora aquestes oportunitats per contribuir amb la formació dels oficials de boxa i ajudar-los a assolir el domini de les seves habilitats..

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Juny 29, 2018) – 19-any-old undefeated sensation and USBA Lightweight campió, Devin “El Somni” Haney (19-0, 13 KOs), has captured his second title before age 20, but even more impressive, is his ranking at # 15 per la Federació Internacional de Boxa, meaning a title shot is near.

 

 

 

“It means the world to me to be ranked in the top 15 by a major sanctioning body like the IBF,” said Devin Haney. “I work extremely hard. I have dedicated my life to the sport of boxing, and the fact that sanctioning bodies are taking notice of my hard work, reaffirms all the sacrifice I have made. I am very excited for what the future holds.”

 

 

 

In his last bout Haney defeated Mason Menard (33-3, 24 KOs) by way of ninth-round technical knockout, and earned the victory when Menard’s corner stopped the bout heading into the tenth and final round. Haney handed Menard a one-sided beating up until that point, forcing Menard’s corner to stop the fight. This victory, which headlined Showtime’s “ShoBox: The Next Generation”, also awarded Devin, the USBA Lightweight title.

 

 

 

“I know that after the statement I made in the last fight, people will be watching me closely,” Haney continued. “I have a lot of hype around me! The cat is out of the bag! I’m nobody’s prospect. This week on the FNU Combat Sports Show, we discuss the latest news in MMA and boxing, recap the past week’s events and preview the upcoming events this week. We also discuss Walter “2 Guns” Wright winning his main event fight against Mark DeLuca a couple days after we interviewed him last week. Wright’s split decision win came in part due to a persistent jab that frustrated DeLuca and left him bloodied, bruised and exhausted by the final bell. Of course bringing up this fact gets us all going on the absolute necessity of the jab in any combat sports fighter’s toolbox.

He also ended Manny Pacquiao’s six-year unbeaten streak in 2005 with a unanimous decision win.

 

 

 

Morales notable fights came against Marco Antonio Barrera (sobrenomenat “The Baby Face Assassin”). The Morales versus Barrera trilogy is one of Boxing’s most famous fight trilogies of all time, involving two of Mexico’s most revered boxers. Their memorable fights were also named Ring Magazine’s fight of the year on February 19, 2000 and once again on November 27, 2004.

Elena Savelyeva, la prospecta de pes gallo femení amb estrella d'or (4-0, 3 KOs) de Rússia tornarà al ring divendres, Juliol 13, i Herceg Novi, Montenegro, per a un enfrontament de vuit rondes contra corrent #10 FIB i #11 Nina Radovanovic, candidata al CMB (12-2, 3 KOs) de Sèrbia.

 

 

 

Antigament una de les boxejades amateurs femenines més condecorades del món, Savelyeva està sent accelerada pels seus co-promotors, Salita Promotions i Alexander Nevskiy Promotion Group amb seu a Rússia. Radovanovic és un desafiant al títol mundial dues vegades, les dues úniques derrotes del qual es van produir en lluites pel campionat del món.

 

 

 

“Tot i que només tinc quatre baralles professionals, Vull lluitar contra el millor i mostrar al món de la boxa les meves habilitats,", va dir Savelyeva, un món antic, Europeu (2X) i rus (6X) campió amateur, que va representar la seva pàtria a la 2012 Jocs Olímpics d'estiu i va competir en el primer partit olímpic de boxa femení de la història.

Savelyeva diu que és optimista sobre la seva carrera en ràpid desenvolupament, donat l'estat actual de la boxa femenina.

REIS RETURNS TO THE RING AQUEST DISSABTE En el Mohegan Sun
PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island (Juny 26, 2018) – In advance of her fight this Saturday night at Mohegan Sun Arena, three-time world champion Kali “KO Mequinonoag” Reis held an open media workout today at Big Six Academy in Providence, Rhode Island.

 

 

 

Fighting out of nearby Cranston, Rhode Island, Reis (13-7-1, 4 KOs) will face former world title challenger Patty “L'elegant” Ramírez (11-5, 5 KOs), de Mèxic, en una baralla de pes welter de vuit assalts.
