King’s Promotions will present two shows that will begin at 3 PM and 8 PM ET respectively.

Headlining the afternoon card will be super middleweight’s Devar Ferhadi (8-0, 7 KO) of Frederick, Maryland and Blake Mansfield (7-3-1, 4 KO) Burlington, North Carolina in a fight scheduled for eight-rounds.

Atlantic City, New Jersey (Březen 12, 2018)–Chazz Witherspoon raised his winning streak to eight in a row as he went the eight-round distance by won a unanimous decision over Lamont Capers that headlined a seven-bout card at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.

Witherspoon was able to outpoint the crafty Capers. Capers was very competitive, but it was Witherspoon’s size and harder punches that proved to be the difference as he captured the via 78-74, 78-74 a 77-75 skóre.

Willis Lockett took a six-round majority decision over Prince Badi Ajamu in a cruiserweight bout.

The fight was a terrific back and forth brawl when Perez suffered a cut over his right eye in the third frame.
Perez almost made a quick night for himself as he dropped Hilton in the 1st round. Hilton stormed back to register his own knockdown’s in round two and three.

Atlantic City, New Jersey (Březen 8, 2018)–Těžká váha Chazz “Gentleman” Witherspoon is looking for a big fight in the suddenly hot heavyweight division. In order to get into the mix he will need a victory tuto sobotu night when he takes on veteran Mike Sheppard in in the eight-round main event on at Claridge Hotel v Atlantic City.
The Witherspoon – Sheppard bout will headline a nine-bout card, promoted by Mis Downing Promotions and Silver Spoon Promotions.
Witherspoon, 36-3 s 28 průchodky, is on a six-fight knockout streak, and has not lost in almost six years.
Witherspoon will be making his first start since stopping Carlos Sandoval in the 4th round on October 1, 2016.

TOP NORTH CAROLINA TALENT TO HEADLINE THURSDAY NIGHT FIGHTS IN DURHAM

DURHAM, NORTH CAROLINA – Srpen 25, 2017 – Raging Babe and Hall of Fame Matchmaker Russell Peltz have assembled what could be the best card North Carolina has seen this year. Kdy “Raging Babe” Michelle Rosado first stepped foot into North Carolina, she did so with intent and purpose. North Carolina has, for too long, been seen as a place where fighters can go pad their records. Rosado was committed to changing that, and the newly minted Promoter plans on delivering on that commitment when she presents Čtvrtek Noční Boje na October 19th na Durham Armory.

The main event is a local match-up, thick with bad blood. Marko “The Bull City Bully” Bailey (5-0, 3KO) faces off against Charlotte’s Stevie “The Answer” Massey (4-1, 4KO). in a six-round bout that has been brewing since both fighters were in the amateur ranks. The behind-closed-doors trash talk that both fighters have partaken in over the past few years has spilled over onto social media, and will now culminate in North Carolina State Championship bout onOctober 19th. “He runs his mouth too much,” said Bailey of his opponent. “This is personal. I want to beat the s— out of him. I have waited a long time to get my hands on this guy, and I’m going to break him down over six rounds. I’m going to make him look bad.” This is Bailey’s first six round bout, and he enters camp with the words of Undisputed Super Lightweight Champion Terence Crawford in his mind. “I spent some time with Bud last weekend. He told me that even when you’re struggling, and times get hard, you gotta fight through it no matter what. No excuses.” Bailey is training three hours from home with his head coach Don Turner. “It’s not easy work, training hours each day on a farm with only work, rest and corn.” Said Rosado of Bailey’s camp. Bailey isn’t deterred. “You gotta fight through adversity. That’s what makes champions. That’s what shows what you’re made of,” said the young fighter.

Massey plans on letting his fists do the talking. “I don’t back down from nobody,” said Massey of the match-up. “We should have fought in the amateurs, but it didn’t happen, and now it’s time.” The 24-year old featherweight is moving up in weight to fight Bailey, and Bailey is moving down. They are meeting in the middle at 132 lbs. Massey is coming off his first loss, a tough unanimous decision to Reggie Barnett Jr. Many fighters would take an easier touch after a loss, but that’s not the way Massey is built. “The loss gave me that hunger back. He better strap up because October 19th, I’m coming.”

It is the kind of matchup that Rosado and Peltz like best. “Listen, Michelle is a go- getter, she’s aggressive,” řekl Peltz. “She buys into the local match-ups theory. There’s nothing wrong with boxing that good fights won’t help. Michelle understands that. You have to make competitive fights. If you can make them at the local level without TV, it’s only going to help boxing in the long run. We’re trying change culture in NC. Anytime you get two local kids to fight each other in the 21st century, it’s a big deal.”

V co-hlavní události, two undefeated, local Durham fighters step up to face each other in a six round bout at Junior Middleweight. Joseph Jackson (8-0, 6KO) čtverců off proti Monreco “King Reek” Goldston (5-0-1, 3KO), with both fighters putting their ‘O’ na lince. It will be Goldston’s first bout in over a year, after having scored a majority draw with Virginia’s Robert Sweeney in May 2016. The bout will be Jackson’s fourth this year. He is coming off a knockout win over Darryol Humphrey last Saturday, 19.srpna.

Také na kartě, Carlos Olmeda (2-0, 2KO) faces a very tough opponent in New York brawler Vinnie Denierio (1-2, 1KO). It isn’t the first time the 5’10” Southpaw Denierio has fought in the Bull City. He faced Marko Bailey there in April, before rematching him in June in Philadelphia. Both bouts earned standing ovations from the crowd. Olmeda isn’t the type to back down, despite being the smaller of the two fighters, plans to give the New Yorker all he can handle.

The remainder of the card is stacked with some of North Carolina’s most promising talent. Undefeated Junior Middleweight Donnie Marshall (5-0, 4KO) makes an appearance on the card, alongside Super Middleweight prospect Blake “KO Král” Mansfield (4-1-1, 2KO) , and Raleigh Heavyweight Nate Williams (1-0, 1KO). PHILADELPHIA–Letos Pátek noc, Christopher Brooker won a workmanlike eight-round unanimous decision over veteran Oscar Riojas in a super middleweight bout that highlighted a seven bout card at a jam packed SugarHouse Casino.

Brooker was very solid throughout as he tried to work on in the inside. Ve třetím kole, he landed a perfect left hook that drove Riojas into the ropes. Brooker worked inside and was the busier man throughout the contest.

McNutt gathered himself and had a solid round two. Orapeza took control again in round four, as he scored a hard knockdown and seemed seconds away from finishing the fight. He may have punched himself out as in the last 45 seconds of the bout, McNutt battered and staggered Oarapeza all over the ring. Had the bout been 30 seconds longer, the outcome could very well have been different, but Orapeza of Philadelphia got the nod by the tune of 38-37, 39-35 a 39-36. Orapeza is now 2-0. McNutt of Battle Creek, MI is 1-3.

Jeffrey Torres won a four-round unanimous decision over Kashon Hutchinson in a lightweight bout.

Nelson of Dayton, Ohio won by scores of 39-37 a 38-37 twice and is now 5-1. Nevarez of Carolina, Puerto Rico is 2-6-1.

The scheduled eight-round super middleweight bout will headline a card promoted by King’s Promotions.

Brooker was summoned to San Diego to help Canelo Alavrez prepare for Sobotní mega showdown with Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr that will take place in Las Vegas.
Being that Brooker is a strong super middleweight, and Chavez having a similar build, it made sense that Brooker would get such a call to help out the Mexican Idol for the much anticipated showdown.
“I went to camp with Canelo in San Diego, and we ran in the mountains at 15,000 feet. I was there close to two weeks and sparred twenty rounds with him,” said Brooker.
“It was a great experience to be around a fighter who is one of the elite fighters in the world. He is so composed. I was brought into to pressure him and mimic Chavez, Jr. Canelo is such an experienced fighter, and I learned so much from him. He was showing me how to set up my shots, and even certain exercises with my neck.”
Brooker was very impressed with the whole team, and believes that this camp will take him to the next level.
“His team is so professional and down to earth. I am looking forward to this fight v sobotu. It will be a good fight. I was shocked to know that Canelo watched my last fight on ShoBox. They could tell that I was trying to box more and get a way from my brawling style that I had employed in most of my bouts. They gave me good advice, and told me not to change who I was when I was having a lot of success as a pressure fighter, and then to mix in the boxing aspect to my game.”
“I needed this. This will take my to another level.”
