Yunusov stops Salinas in seven to remain undefeated

Bethlehem, PA (November 18, 2018) —This past Friday night, Three-time Olympian Anvar Yunusov remained perfect by stopping Jose Salinas in the 7th round of their scheduled eight-round junior lightweight bout the headlined a nine-bout card at

Sands Bethlehem Event Center.

 

 

 

The show was promoted by King’s Promotions.

 

 

 

Yunusov, som tävlade i 2008, 2012 och 2016 Olympics for his native country Tajikistan, dominated the action, and finally broke Salinas down in the 7th frame.

Despite his record, Woods was game, but the 277 pound Coffie was too much and finally got his foe out of there at 2:50 in the 4th frame.

 

Coffie of Brooklyn is 6-0 med fem knockouts. Woods of Forest City, Arkansas is 18-44-7.

 

Joseph George took a six-round unanimous decision from Josue Obando in a light heavyweight bout.

 

 

 

George of Houston is now 8-0. Obando of Mexico gave a good effort, but is now 16-25-1.

 

Christian Montano behövde bara 2:05 of the 1st round to take out Paul Holley in their scheduled six-round cruiserweight bout.

Good looking bantamweight prospect Yeuri Andujar made it two straight stoppage victories with a 1st round stoppage over debuting Haziz Self of Philadelphia.

 

 

 

Andujar of Reading, PA is 2-0 with both wins coming early.

 

 

 

In a fight heavyweight contest featuring previously undefeated light heavyweight, Travis Toledo took an entertaining four-round majority decision over Kendall Cannida.

 

 

 

Both guys had their moments in the spirited brawl, but it was Toledo who came away with the victory to raise his mark to 3-0. Cannida of Philadelphia drops to 2-1.

 

Vincent Floyd used two 1st round knockdowns to catapult himself to a four-round unanimous decision over Ricky Nuno in a welterweight clash.

 

 

 

Nuno made a great effort after the 1st round, but he dug himself too far of a hole to catch Floyd.

 

 

 

Floyd of Philadelphia is 4-5-1. Nuno of Bethlehem is 2-2.

Philadelphia, PA (September 27, 2018) – This past Tuesday night, one of the most thrilling fights in recent memory, Anthony Mercado och Victor Vazquez waged an eight-round war for the ages that saw Mercado overcome a horrible cut over his right eye, a knockdown, and multiple instances where the fight could have been stopped to persevere and somehow comeback to win the fight.

Mercado was cut badly over his right in round two from an accidental headbutt. I runda tre, Mercado landed a hard flurry on the ropes that forced Vazquez into the ropes, and referee Gary Rosato ruled that ropes kept Vazquez from being knocked down and administered an eight-count. Vazquez fought back in round four and landed a couple of booming left hooks that rocked Mercado.

 

 

 

The continued to trade heavy shots at will, which led to some brutal exchanges with each guy landing some vicious power punches. In round six, Vazquez landed some booming shots that had Mercado in trouble for much of the round, One such flurry had Mercado seemingly a punch or two a way from getting stopped. At the end of the round, Vazquez landed a flush left hook to the jaw that put Mercado plummeting to the canvas. Mercado got up just as the bell rang, and he stumbled to the corner. Vazquez went in for the finish in round seven, but Mercado, with blood now covering the whole right side of his face, was able to stabilize himself and work his way back into the fight. Mercado made it all the way back, and was able to box his way to win the decisive eighth round.

Bethlehem, PA (April 17, 2018) -This past Friday night at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center, junior lightweight O'Shaquie Foster got a career boosting win as he defeated Frank De Alba via eight-round majority decision in a crowd-thrilling fight.

 

 

 

 

The six-bout card was promoted by King’s Promotions.

 

 

 

 

Foster got off to an early lead, as he featured an accurate straight hand. De Alba got back in the fight as he decided to stand toe-toe with Foster, and on many occasions, he gave as good or even better then he received. Neither fighter took a backward step, which was much to the delight to the crowd that congregated at The Sands Bethlehem Event Center.

Bethlehem, PA (April 11, 2018) – Junior lightweight contender Frank De Alba feels that 2018 could be his year. He first he must get past O'Shaquie Foster in the headline bout DENNA Friday Night!! vid Sands Bethlehem Event Center.

 

 

 

Anfallen, which is scheduled for eight-rounds tops a 6-bout card that is promoted by King’s Promotions.

 

 

 

In the six-round co-feature pitting cruiserweights Luther Smith (9-2, 8 Kos) av Bowie, MD taking on Elvin Sanchez (8-3-1, 6 Kos) från Paterson, NJ.

 

 

 

De Alba of Reading, Pa. will be making his first start in over a year as bouts fell through due to opponents not making weight, and De Alba suffering a cut in training just days before his last scheduled in February.

 

 

 

De Alba has been working hard through all of his bad luck.

 

 

 

“My training has been great. It’s been a long time. I was scheduled for November and my opponent missed weight by 14 pounds. Then in February, I got cut six days before the fight. Genom allt, I have been training. I took a week off, and then I was right back in the gym, and for that, I don’t think I will have any ring rust. I have been training for fights in the last year, it may say I haven’t fought, but I have been staying busy,” Said De Alba.

 

 

 

In Foster, he is facing a tough fighter who hopes to resurrect his career after a couple of losses set-back the one-time touted prospect.

 

 

 

“Foster is a slick fighter. I have seen him on film two or three times. He is a good test, a risky fight, but this is what this sport is all about. I need these fights to get to the next level. I just have to take the fight to him.”

 

 

 

De Alba feels that a win on Friday night will not only get him his 6th consecutive win, but a significant fighter later in the year.

 

 

 

“Whatever a win does, it will lead to something better in my career. Hopefully a regional title fight and a world ranking.”

 

 

 

Friday night will be the 5th start for De Alba at The Sands Bethlehem Event Center, och 30 year-old is ready to put in a good performance for his fans.

6 undercard bouts have been added to the already announced eight-round super featherweight main event that will pit Frank De Alba (22-2-2, 9 Kos) från Reading, PA taking in O'Shaquie Foster (12-2, 8 Kos) av Houston, TX.

Bethlehem, PA (Januari 23, 2018) – Två-time världen weltervikt mästare,Kermit Cintron has been added to an already deep card when he takes on George Sosa in a ten-round bout on Tisdag, 13 februari vid Sands Bethlehem Event Center.
