PHILADELPHIA (Oktober 14, 2021)–King’s Promotions is set to return to the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia op Zaterdag, November 20th with a big card of boxing planned that will feature outstanding talent in competitive fights.

Making his hometown debut will be top prospect Atif Oberlton.
Oberlton will take part in a six-round light heavyweight bout against Brent Oren (4-6, 1 KO) van Harrisburg, PA.

Oberlton, 23 years-old of Philadelphia is considered one OF the top prospects in the sport, and he is coming off a 5th round stoppage of Jasper McCargo (4-1-2) on June 27th in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Oberlton of Philadelphia was the number-two ranked light heavyweight in the United States and was a favorite to be part of the United States Olympic team, but he decided to turn his attention to the paid ranks.

Oberlton competed in approximately 100 amateur fights where he won many tournaments, inclusief: U.S. Olympics Nationale Junior; Two-time National Golden Gloves champion and Eastern Elite Qualifier. Oberlton placed 2nd at the 2020 United States Olympic Trials.

Oren is coming off a huge win as he upset previously undefeated Omar Salem (9-0) on August 28th in Myrtle Beach, SC

Jonathan Rodriguez (9-1, 3 KO) van Bethlehem, PA fights the battle-tested Roberto Pucheta (10-20-2, 6 KO) van Jalisco, Mexico in bantamweight tussle.

Jeremy Cuevas (13-1, 10 KO) of Philadelphia will take part in a super light fight against an opponent to be named.

LOS ANGELES (April 16, 2021) – Undefeated lightweight prospects Frank Martin en Jerry Perez will go toe-to-toe in a 10-round battle that headlines FS1 PBC Fight Night and on FOX Deportes on Tuesday, April 20 from Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles.

Most recently the 28-year-old scored a career best victory in blasting out Joshua Zuniga in their October 2020 matchup, winning by third-round knockout. The Oak Hills, California native had previously earned stoppage victories over Tyrone Luckey and Ivan Leon Benitez in 2019.

The 22-year-old Resendiz (11-0, 8 KO) zal zijn het Amerikaanse maken. debut when he steps into the ring on April 20. Representing the fighter-rich city of Philadelphia, Oberlton won the 2018 en 2016 National Golden Gloves tournaments and reached the finals of the 2018 U.S. National Championships prior to turning pro. He will be opposed by the 36-year-old Bryan (19-5-2, 15 KO), who returns to the ring after a decision loss in February of this year. Brooks (6-1, 5 KO) trains with unified welterweight champion Errol Spence in Dallas, Texas under the tutelage of coach Derrick James. The 25-year-old Brooks is looking to bounce back from a split decision loss to Marco Delgado in his last fight in September. Rivera (8-6-3, 6 KO) fights out of Fife, Washington and is coming off a TKO victory over Roberto Salas in his last fight.

The 20-year-old Marshall will turn pro on April 20 after an impressive amateur career. Marshall was born in Landover, Maryland and now resides in Capitol Heights, Maryland as he embarks on his professional journey. He will be opposed by the 31-year-old Marron (0-1) who fights out of Bakersfield, Californië.

The 28-year-old Rashidi (8-1-1, 6 KO) works out of the same gym in Dallas as Spence and Brooks and is coming off a TKO victory over Rynell Griffin in his last fight. He will face Silverya (8-6-2, 3 KO), who is from Nuevo Leon, Mexico and is coming off a loss to Fazliddin Gaibnazarov in his last fight.

Atif Oberlton representing City of Brotherly Love all the way to the World Championships

COLORADO SPRINGS, Ronde. (Augustus 22, 2019) – There’s a new rising force on the international boxing scene and his name is Atif Oberlton, a light heavyweight from Philadelphia, who is on a mission to make a name for himself in boxing.

Oberlton will be competing at the Elite Men’s World Championships, September 7-21, in Yekaterinburg, Rusland.

Lacking confidence is not an issue for the 21-year-old boxer who claims, “It’s very important for me to do well and win at the Worlds, because I know for a fact that, in my heart, I’m the best fighter in the world. Also, I’m new on the international scene, so it’s time for me to give a piece of what they’ve been missing.”

Oberlton started boxing at the age of nine, although he didn’t start competing until he was 14, because he was the only boy in his family, and his father wanted him to learn how to defend himself. Like so many of his teammates, he fell in love with boxing.
