Philadelphia, PA (Juni 25, 2018) – Morgen, Hall of Fame Promoter J Russell Peltz will be the guest on The Abrams Boxing Hour beginning at 6:30 PM ET / 3:30 PM PT. The show will originate from The Joe Hand Boxing Gym in Philadelphia.

Peltz will discuss the June 29th fight card at The Parx Casino in Bensalem, PA. The card will feature Miguel Cartagena (15-4-1, 6 KO) taking on Carlos Maldonado (10-2, 7 KO) plus the rematch between Anthony Prescott and Isiah Wise.

 

 

 

Peltz will also talk about some of the highlights of his nearly 50 year Hall of Fame Career as well as some of today’s hottest boxing topics.

 

 

ABOUT THE ABRAMS BOXING HOUR

 

 

 

The show, will feature 1-on-1 sit-down interviews with some of the biggest names in the sport, and will also go over the latest boxing news and opinions. The Abrams Boxing Hour will originate from boxing-centric venues throughout the country.

Philadelphia, PA (September 28, 2017) – Below is the video and images from Donderdagpress conference in conjunction with Vrijdag night’s big King’s Promotions boxing card at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
The show will be televised LIVE on Eleven Sports beginning at 9 PM ET. The 1st bout at the 2300 Arena is at 7:15.
Main event fighters Christian Carto and Alonso Melendez were joined by undefeated Mykal Fox, Jerome Conquest and Brandon Robinson, who discussed their respective bouts.

Philadelphia, PA (September 25, 2017) –Deze vrijdag nacht, ongeslagen junior weltergewicht Mykal Fox (14-0, 4 KO) will make his Philadelphia debut when he takes on tough Marlon Aguas (9-1, 6 KO) in an eight-round bout at De 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
De kaart wordt bevorderd door Promotions King's.
In het main event, ongeslagen bantamgewicht Christian Carto (11-0, 11 KO) zullen strijdenAlonso Melendez (14-1, 12 KO) in a bout scheduled for eight-rounds.
Fox-Aguas and Carto – Melendez will be part of the broadcast on Eleven Sports beginning at9 PM ET / 6 PM PT, met de eerste aanval vanaf 7 PM ET.
Also as part of the Eleven Sports broadcast,Carlos Rosario (7-2, 4 KO) of Pennsuaken, New Jersey and Jerome Conquest (8-2, 1 KO) of Philadelphia will meet in a highly anticipated eight-round lightweight bout.
Fox van Forestville, Maryland has had a flawless camp as he prepared for this potentially tough challenge.
“My training went very well. My weight came off nicely, and I had great sparring. I feel very good as I head into this fight,” zei Fox.
In Aguas, he is facing a battled tested foe who has fought good competition in his home country of Ecuador and in Mexico. His lone defeated came in his last bout against then-undefeated prospect Ivan Golub.
“Aguas fought against Golub, who is a known commodity. I know that Aguas has a good record and has power, and he has been 12 rondes, so I expect to have to fight the whole time in there.”
The King’s Promotions signee, Fox is looking forward to his maiden voyage into one of the great fight towns in Philadelphia.
“Philly is a great fight town. I know a lot of people up there like Julian Williams, Tevin Farmer and Jesse Hart. Those guys are tough, and Philly has a lot of tough fighters. I am really looking forward to fighting in front of the Philly fight crowd.”
Fox is really excited about what a win will do for him going forward.
“This win will be a a good look for me because of his record. It will show people that I can handle myself against a battle tested opponent, and hopefully it will catapult me into a ShoBox opportunity, and keep me moving in my career. I want to thank everybody who has been rooting for me and following me.”

Carto (11-0, 11 KO) of Philadelphia has developed into one of the top prospects in the Philadelphia region and combined with his growing fan base, Carto has become a must-see attraction.
“Everything has gone great in camp. I feel really good for Friday,” said Carto.
In Melendez, he is fighting a tough fighter from Mexico who sports an impressive mark of 14-1 met 12 knock-outs.
“I have seen a few videos of him, and I know he is a southpaw. Hij is een goede vechter, and on paper it looks like he is my toughest fight, but I can tell you for sure after the fight.”
Ever since he was an amateur, Carto has been a popular fighter, drawing large crowds, but since becoming a professional, Carto is starting to build into an attraction, where he is starting to acquire more and more fans with each fight.
“I am starting to notice that my fan base is growing. That makes me feel good that people want to come out and see me fight.”
This being his 12th fight in 14 maanden, Carto has kept a busy schedule, and should everything go well op vrijdag nacht, Carto could see more action as 2017 closes out.
“I definitely want to get one more for sure and possibly two more fights before the year ends, but first things first is Friday and it’s going to be a good night of boxing.”

Philadelphia, PA (September 11, 2017) -Undefeated bantamweight sensation, knock-out kunstenaar, Christian Carto has been added to an already loaded night of boxing on vrijdag nacht, September 29th bij de 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
Carto (11-0, 11 KO) is set to take on Alonso Melendez (14-1, 11 KO) van Chihuahua, Mexico in a bout scheduled for eight-rounds.
De show wordt bevorderd door King's Promotions.
De 20 year-old continues to step up in competition, en September 29th, he will be taking on his toughest foe in Melendez
Carto has kept extremely busy as he fought all eleven of his bouts in a 13-month span, with his latest being a 2nd round stoppage over Phillip Adyaka on August 11th in front of a sold-out crowd at SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia.
He will making his 1st appearance at the 2300 Arena.
Melendez will making his United States debut. He has won three in a row, and the five-year professional has a win over previously undefeated Edgar Garcia. Alonso is coming off a 7th round stoppage over Jesus Limones on September 9, 2015 in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Grayson Blake vecht Anthony Prescott in lokale attractie deze zaterdag op 2300 Arena in Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA (Januari 30, 2015)–Deze zaterdag nacht in het 2300 Arena, Grayson Blake zal op Anthony Prescott nemen in een 6-ronde Jr. Middengewicht gevecht dat zal dienen als een lokale attractie op een kaart gepromoot door King's Promotions.

De belangrijkste gebeurtenis zal ongeslagen zien Prichard Colon (12-0, 10 KO's) van Orocovis, Puerto Rico nemen Hector Munoz (23-13-1, 15 KO's) van Albuquerque, New Mexico in de 8-ronde Jr. Middengewicht strijd.

Blake van State College, PA heeft een record van 5-3 met twee stilstand probeert om drie-strijd losing streak te breken en is er alle vertrouwen in te gaan op de wedstrijd met Prescott.

“Training was geweldig . Ik was in het kamp voor een maand en een half. Ik heb een nieuwe trainer, Ik heb op een nieuwe voeding regime geweest en ik voel me sneller en sterker,” Said Blake.

Hij heeft respect voor Prescott, maar Blake voelt hij de stijl om uit te komen op de top.

“Hij is sterk, maar zullen we onder druk, druk, druk hem en vasthouden aan onze game plan.”

Ook al Blake is een inwoner van Pennsylvania, vechten jongens van het gebied en vooral New Jersey is extra speciaal.

“Het is goed voor mij om mensen die dicht en uit het gebied te bestrijden. De meeste van mijn familie komt uit New Jersey en ze zijn oud-boksers.”

Met zijn nieuwe team om hem heen, Blake wordt gelooft dat hij heeft wat nodig is om uit te komen op de top.

“Het maakt niet uit wat we doen, Ik ben van plan om hem te nemen in diepe wateren en verdrinken hem. Ik kom terug naar mijn respect in de ring te krijgen.”
