BELÉM, PA. (Fevereiro 10, 2016) – Invicto 2012 U.S. Olímpico Jamel Herring (15-0, 8 KOs) scored a unanimous decision (100-88, 100-88, 99-89) over Colombia’s Luis Eduardo Flores (21-3, 17 KOs) in a 10-round lightweight bout in the main event of Terça-feira de Premier Boxe dos Campeões (PBC) TERÇA TOE-de-toe em FS1 e Boxe dos Campeões em FOX Sports fight card at Sands Event Center in Bethlehem, PA.
Arenque, who represented the United States at the 2012 Olympic games after winning the U.S. Título nacional amador do mesmo ano, commanded the action throughout.
“I knew if I boxed smart it would show, but I didn’t think it would be that wide a margin,” disse Herring. “He’s a very experienced fighter.”
Herring added, “I was trying to get rid of him early because he’s a dangerous guy. If you let a guy like that sit around too long there’s always the risk that you might get clipped with something and regret it.”
Arenque, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, hopes the win Terça-feira night will launch him into world title contention in 2016.

Martin responded to the talk of baiting saying, “I just stuck to my fundamentals, kept pumping my jab and setting him up for the next shot.
“I knew I hurt him with the uppercut. He walked right into it. And then when I threw the hook he couldn’t do anything,” disse Martin.
Following the bout Gomez said, “I plan to retire after hoje à noite. I care too much and fight too hard to be just another opponent.”
The second televised fight saw Raynell Williams (11-0, 5 KOs) win a unanimous decision (79-73, 79-73, 78-74) sobre Gabriel Tolmajyan (14-3-2, 3 KOs) in eight rounds of lightweight action.

“I was focused on boxing him and not so much worried about the knockout,” added Williams. “I knew I was winning the rounds.”
In the final frame, Tolmajyan, fighting out of Glendale, TAL COMO, caught Williams with a shot that nearly ended things.
Williams recalled, “It was an overhand left that he hit me with. And then he came after me again, but the ref and I made contact, so then the ref pushed me away because he didn’t want me to try holding on to him. But once I got my feet under me I was fine.”
Contudo, Tolmajyan wasn’t impressed with Williams saying, “He wasn’t as good as we were expecting and I had him hurt with my left.
“I thought that I was winning the fight to be honest. I didn’t think I was going to lose the decision,” added Tolmajyan.
Williams concluded, “I hope to learn from my mistakes hoje à noite. I got caught with a good punch in the last few seconds hoje à noite, so I just need to work on consistency and fighting until the final bell.”

“Training is good. I really do not know much about Gomez, but that doesn’t matter much at all because I just go in there and like to fight.”
Martin is ready to showcase his skills for the first time in front of a nationally televised audience and he knows this is just the beginning of positioning himself into bigger fights.
“It is a big step for me. This will show me and the fans how good I am and where I can go in my career.”
Without looking too far down the line, Martin would love a chance at his old amateur rival, Spence. Martin knows that he needs to continue winning and looking good to get that opportunity within in the next year.
“Spence is definitely on my radar. I can see us fighting by the end of 2016 or early 2017. I feel that I will be ready for that fight. He is just one of a few guys that I want to fight on my way to the top. I am just hoping that everyone tunes in on February 9th and the fans will remember my national television debut.”

Belém, PA (Junho 25 2015)–Sábado à noite no Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem, Christian Molina vai olhar para permanecer invicto quando ele assume o veterano Justin Johnson Jr em um 6-redonda. Welterweight combate que vai ser parte de uma 10 cartão de combate.

Molina se estabeleceu como um dos lutadores mais populares no Vale Lehigh devido ao seu estilo de luta emocionante e envolvente personalidade fora do ringue.

Molina tem trabalhado muito duro enquanto se prepara para um passo luta contra Johnson, que apesar de seu registro de 6-8, é 4-4-2 contra o 10 invictos que ele tem sido no ringue com.

“O treinamento tem sido boa. Agora eu estou olhando apenas para fazer o peso e estar pronto para sábado,” disse o 27 year-old Molina.

Molina sabe que ele tem que estar no seu melhor como Johnson não só tem a experiência, mas também tem algumas vantagens físicas.

“Eu sei que ele é 2 ou 3 polegadas mais alto, então eu sou. Nós temos alguns planos de jogo bom e fazer o que temos que fazer para ganhar. Eu sei que ele é um bom lutador.”

Como mencionado anteriormente, Molina construiu uma grande base de fãs na área e eles vão estar fora para alegrar o seu homem neste sábado.

“Um monte de pessoas vêm para me apoiar. Eu realmente amo e que me ajuda no ringue. Eu sinto que depois de mais um par de vitórias, I pode se tornar uma grande sorteio como eu sei que os fãs de luta porto-riquenhos ficar atrás de bons lutadores. Este é o meu primeiro ataque seis redondos e sei que as grandes lutas ainda estão por vir.”

Ele diz ainda mais sobre como Molina foi capturado em para os fãs como ele veio aqui a partir de Puerto Rico há apenas sete anos.

“Eu vim de San Sebastian, Puerto Rico em 2008 e foi para Mendez Liciago High School e graduou-se em 2006. Eu vim aqui por mim e queria um futuro na América. Eu trabalho em um armazém para apoiar o meu boxe. Eu sei que nada é fácil, Vou continuar a trabalhar duro e ser o melhor lutador lá fora e espero que um dia, Eu posso voltar para Puerto Rico e lutar em casa.”
