Brooklyn, Nova Iorque (Junho 15, 2016)– Russo Vladimir Tikhonov, a super bantamweight contender, is the latest signee to the Dmitriy Salita promotional slate. And it looks like the timing is right for the Brooklyner Salita, with word out that this Russian hitter is making his way up the ratings ladder.
Tikhonov (14-0 com 8 KOs) has entered the WBA world rankings at No. 13.

He is yet another Russian warrior, with fighting in his blood!”

Toronto, Ontario, Canadá (Junho 15, 2016) – Six-time Irish amateur champion Cornelius “Con” Sheehan is set to make his Canadian debut against an opponent to be named Quinta-feira, Julho 28 at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto, Ontario.

The fights join a main event that features a middleweight rematch between Joe Schilling (27-8) e Hisaki Kato (6-2), who initially competed against one another in a mixed martial arts contest that saw Kato get the better of the kickboxing ace with a “Knockout of the Year” winning superman punch.

What motivates you and what kind of mentality do you have in the ring?

The popular Mexican-American Santa Cruz fights out of Los Angeles and won the 126-pound title in a “Fight of the Year” candidate against former three-division champ Abner Mares last August at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. It was just the third fight in the featherweight division for Santa Cruz, who has won belts at 118 e 122 pounds while earning a reputation as one of boxing’s most active and exciting fighters. The 27-year-old also holds victories over Cristian Mijares e Eric Morel. He has competed in world title bouts in 11 de sua última 13 fights since 2012.
