Several Match-ups Announced for Detroit Brawl on Sunday, Janvier 22 à Detroit

Several match-ups have been announced for promoter Dmitriy Salita’s special Sunday edition of his “La bagarre de Détroit” series on Janvier 22, 2017, at Masonic Temple in Detroit.
In the night’s eight-round main event, Detroit’s perennial welterweight gate keeper and fan favorite Lanardo “Pain Server” Tyner (30-10-2, 19 KOs) will face Nagykanizsa, Hungary’s Istvan Dernanecz (10-4, 7 KOs).
Although Tyner’s original opponent, Wesley Tucker, was forced to withdraw with a training injury, his willingness to trade with anyone means he’s never in a bad fight. 19-year-old Dernanecz has said he’s coming across the ocean to take a giant step up in pro career with a victory over Tyner.
En cas de co-principal, Detroit bantamweight action hero James Gordon Smith (11-0, 6 KOs) will take on Kiskunfelegyhaza, Hungary’s Szilveszter Ajtai (10-3-1, 5 KOs). Also seeing action will be former cruiserweight world title challenger “Ouragan” Wright junior (15-2-1, 12 KOs) from Evanston, Illinois, making his heavyweight debut against Detroit’s Damon McCreary (15-6, 11 KOs) dans un huit rondes.

Janvier 11, 2017 (CHICAGO) – The Seattle Seahawks Russell Wilson (Ne Pas. 1), New York Giants Odell Beckham Jr. (Ne Pas. 2) and the Houston Texans JJ Watt (Ne Pas. 3) were officially named the Top 3 Most Valued Athletes in Social Media of 2016 in a ranking created in partnership between MVPindex™ and 120 Sportif. UFC star Conor McGregor jumped an impressive 33 spots from last year’s index to claim the No. 5 spot in 2016, just behind golfer Rory McIlroy and ahead of Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James.

The ranking includes U.S. professional and Olympic athletes.

To determine the most valued athletes on social media this year, Chicago-based digital sports network 120 Sports collaborated with industry-leading social measurement and valuation platform MVPindex to rank athletes using a proprietary algorithm that evaluates all of their social activity throughout the past year. STACKED FIGHT CARD OPENS THE YEAR FOR NEF IN LEWISTON

Lewiston, Maine (Janvier 11, 2017) Combats -Nouveau Angleterre (NEF) retourne au Colisée de la Banque Androscoggin le Février 11, 2017 avec son prochain événement d'arts martiaux mixtes, “NEF 27: RÉAPPARITION.” Plus tôt aujourd'hui,, the fight promotion announced the full card for the event. Headlining the evening will be the semi-finals of the tournament to crown a new professional lightweight champion. The title was vacated when previous champion Devin Powell (8-1) signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). LOS ANGELES (Janvier 10, 2017) — Ancien champion du monde trois divisions Leo Santa Cruz continued to prepare for his featherweight world title rematch against Carl Frampton and hosted a Los Angeles media workout Tuesday before he headlines action on Samedi, Janvier 28 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and live on Showtime.
Also working out for the media at Fortune Gym Tuesday were lightweight world champion Dejan Zlaticanin et ancien champion de deux divisions Mikey Garcia, who meet in the opening bout on SHOWTIME at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.

“My dad is my trainer full-time. He’s always been the one who knows how to point out and correct the mistakes I make in training. I think having him full-time will be a big difference. He will push me more.
“I think I have to land more clean punches this time. I’m going to work the body more and break him down. I’m going to sit on my punches a lot better. I couldn’t land my punches clearly and with enough power.
“I’m excited because Las Vegas is like my second hometown. I’ve fought there throughout my career. They give me great support. I know that when I’m tired and hear them scream, it will give me the energy to go the distance.
“I don’t think I had trouble adjusting to fighting on the East Coast. But there aren’t as many Mexican fans over there; so hopefully I will have some more support this time. None of that really matters once we get into the ring though. It’s just me and Carl in there.
“I have the loss in my head. I don’t just want to do it for myself. I want to do it for everyone who has doubted me. Once I prove them wrong and win this fight, then I’ll be proud of myself.
“I’m going to fight like this is for my first world title. I’m going up there as a nobody and I’m going to go make a name for myself. I’m coming with that kind of hunger.
“I’m going to show everyone what I’ve been working on. I want to prove that I’m better than Carl Frampton. If everything works out, we’ll get the victory.

Royce Gracie

Le nom Gracie est synonyme de MMA, et c'est en grande partie à Royce Gracie, un homme qui est considéré comme l'inventeur du sport tel que nous le connaissons aujourd'hui. Le vainqueur de la première de plusieurs événements de l'UFC, Gracie serait démanteler plusieurs adversaires en une seule nuit, beaucoup d'entre eux étaient beaucoup plus grande que lui. Pendant de nombreuses années, il n'y avait pas de réponse pour la technique Gracie Jiu-Jitsu qu'il a amenée au combat. Aujourd'hui, il est difficile de trouver un combattant de MMA qui ne s'est pas entraîné dans l'art du jiu-jitsu brésilien que son père a inventé. Kazushi Sakuraba

Avec un CV incroyable mis en évidence par des victoires sur quatre membres de la légendaire famille Gracie, dont Royler, Renzo, Ryan, et Royce Gracie, Sakuraba a hérité du surnom de « The Gracie Hunter ». L'artiste martial mixte japonais est surtout connu pour son premier affrontement avec Royce, un marathon de 90 minutes qui s'est terminé par un TKO (arrêt de coin) victoire de Sakuraba presque 17 il y a des années. Matt Mitrione

Matt Mitrione a initialement mis ses talents au service du football, signer en tant qu'agent libre non repêché avec les Giants de New York en 2002.
